We recently migrated to AWS graviton processors for our EKS based pods, post migration we observed drop in CPU usage which in turn reduced our number of pods, which in turn reduced cost of our system.
Also graviton processors are cheaper then intel or amd. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Software compatibility is 1 issue we faced during our migration. Since we were using GraalVM in our java services, the version which we were using for GraalVM, was graviton did not have any support for that. So we have to skip migrating to graviton in those services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
