We use MediaLive to capture live input streams and pipe them through MediaPackage, which then distributes the content to end users via its endpoints. This process is pretty seamless and reliable. We enjoy the experience so far! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We tried to pipe video assets from S3 to MediaPackage to serve fixed-media content, but that process isn't very straightforward and the automation took more effort than necessary. Apparently the MediaPackage is also very sensitive about the asset format, so we gave up on that. It would be ideal to unify live streaming and media assets with MediaPackage though. The best feature of this service I like most is that it can convert the format of videos for different devices in real-time. Because of this feature, you don't need different services for converting videos into different formats for different devices. In this way, it helps to reduce the cost also. AWS Elemental MediaPackage is an easy integrative video platform. it is very easy to deploy & plug in with some software. it can be customized as well.

it can host videos and player support as well. it helped us to increase the performance of the applications, it can also provide good security about the software or application can be utilized. it supports all the advanced audio features for clients' cases. sometimes as per customer requirements, we need to store the real-time streaming videos in S3 bucket instead of media package. it automatically redirects to media store but not to S3 storage type, which is not good for customer case.
