i have been using AWS Database Migration Service for 2-3 years , it's the most helpful service for migrating database to AWS cloud easily as well as securely to take the advantage of availability , scaleability of an AWS cloud for your application , the most amazing thing about AWS Database Migration service is that it supports both homogeneous and heterogeneous migration to the AWS cloud easily (ex. SQL server to Mysql ) , i must say it's quit innovative service by AWS as it simplifies the most difficult job of migration of data base , it simplifies the work of network administrators to DBA (Database Administrative). even though i think DMS was only meant to be used in finite sessions we are using it nonstop to replicate data from multiple sources into one. it works great most of the time. very rarely we have problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

sometimes when a DMS task fails i have to restart the whole task from scratch to fix the error. also recoverable errors put the task in 'failed' state which triggers our alarms. but since it's a recoverable error we can't really act on the alarm untill it fails on reties.
