The ease of use with Avigilon Alta has been a real treat. It is very intuitive and user friendly with fantastic customer support. I haven't even scratched the surface of all of the possible features. We rolled it out for our school district this summer and it has been a great tool that we use every day. Implementing schedules, groups, and security functions has been very straightforward. Openpath is a great system. I honestly have nothing bad to say. I have used it across multiple jobs and even for website security when trying to obtain my global entry card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to have an app on my phone rather than a keycard (that I'd probably forget at home) to get into my office building. It's super simple to get set-up and rolling on your first day of work! User experience is pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I dislike is that in order to use the wave function to unlock doors, you have to have bluetooth and location services "Always On" (which can drain your phone battery). It tracks where you are and how many times you've used Openpath in the past. The alternative is turning location services off, which means you have to open up the app on your phone and tap on the "Unlock" button to open the door. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Earlier, we used to carry our badges everywhere in our office and hit on the locks to get access. I am so glad that my company implemented Openpath. One of the best features of the open path is that it provides access through proximity sensors on my mobile phone, and I no longer have to carry the badges in my hand. Although it is feature rich and super practical, I am yet to find a solution to access my office door in case of my phone’s battery drainage. Since Openpath is not fully matured, we get to see bugs sometime. However, reopening or reinstalling the application gets the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of scheduling sites/zones is very helpful and creates flexibility for the numerous changes that need to be made to our system each week, makes this program ideal for our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing that I'd like to see changed is the ability to add zones to more than one schedule. I cannot enter zones on more than one schedule and have to modify them multiple times each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
