The different tiers for purchasing the software and plugins, and the subscription offerings makes it perfect if you are just getting started, need a short term solution, or are diving right in. My biggest issues with Pro Tools is the iLok verification, it was more of an issue in the past but now that iLok has its own license manager for the computer its way better than buying the dongles. My other complaint would organizing and removing plugins. You may download a trial, or subscribe the a package for a month, but when they are no longer active, they still clog up your menus.
