What do you like best about AVEVA Edge?
It is intuitive and works smoothly. Engineering is user friendly and gives most of features in standard which normally you need to pay from other SCADAs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AVEVA Edge?

What do you like best about AVEVA Edge?
Ease of use. Easy installation, doesn't require much RAM even with heavy applications. Help system was superb! It doesn't conflict with other SCADA or automation software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AVEVA Edge?
Adding or deleting animation links is a bit messy. For example, you've linked an object with an "On Down" command, and then you've decided to shift it to an "On Up" function. It just doesn't feel neat to me with just deleting the unwanted function code. An enable/disable function of the command should fix this.

What do you like best about AVEVA Edge?
I had used Indusoft web Studio for a couple of years and found it very flexible to customize based on customer requirements. I have used other tools but didn't find it as user-friendly as this. This tool has in built reporting function,, which is rarely found in other SCADA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AVEVA Edge?
As per my understanding, the device support is limited to desktop only. I hope upcoming versions will be included with Android and other platforms also. The graphics library needs to be integrated with more devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AVEVA Edge?
the Indusoft view studio scada is very much flexible and not so rigid as other scada i have worked on. i have customized the scada in indusoft according to the customer needs as per 21 CFR regulations which helped my customer to meet his GAMP 5 needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AVEVA Edge?
this scada software needs to develop the network connection between more than 10 connections, as i have not checked the connection between more than 4 devices i was facing the connectivity issues. i hope the newer version of indusoft scada has overcome the issue. What do you like best about AVEVA Edge?
InduSoft Web Studio software is great software for scada.Its easy to use and very user friendly. This software gui interface is awesome that I've ever seen .Improves existing HTML5 and custom widget capabilities. Alarms showing, Trend view ,SQLserver to InduSoft data Imports and Exports. What do you dislike about AVEVA Edge?
This software library should be need more update. One of the problems with InduSoft is that their components are closed. So beyond setting a couple properties in the on-screen button you don't have any control over how the button sets the virtual relay. The best I can come up with is that there's a momentary communication hiccup when the user stops clicking the button and it fails to send the relay open signal. Once that virtual relay is closed, there's no explicit way to open it. This is a bad design as you NEVER want there to be something in the PLC that can only be effected by the computer. Don't have a direct button to save the logging data into USB
The license is expensive.

What do you like best about AVEVA Edge?
The software is very user friendly and it has some unique features, its better than all the SCADA,s available in market Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AVEVA Edge?
Limits on screens and as well the software installation and it uses lots of memonry, more option should available for animation, updates are not very often, ease of connectivity with other third party devices.
