Mapping of connections between switches and connected network devices, as well as pre-configured alerts for those devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of detailed information on workstations and hardware details about switches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Auvik gives my team amazing visibility and saves us tons of time when trying to gain visibility on odd network issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It creates good layer 1 and 3 network maps, but would be good if it has some alignment to predefined templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The historical data is there when needed, enabling you to troubleshoot quickly and effectively. Remote management and CLI-access are incredible useful and save serious time.
New features are regularly added (e.g. syslog) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The largest networks become difficult to manage, with the network mapping functions becoming less useful. Costs can add up quickly when many switches are present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite part of Auvik is backups of network equipment. But, the automatic network mapping has been a huge time saver. Auvik alerts keep us in the know about Virtual machines, network devices and even windows servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful feature in Auvik has been the Meraki plug in. It has not shown to be of any use to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The heads up insight into the networks I manage. There are a ton of great things about Auvik, but two of my favorite features include:
The ability to remotely connect to a device's web management portal to simplify device management.
Real-time port utilization monitoring for information regarding if an uplink or downlink is oversaturated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What's great about Auvik is also one of its difficulties in that it is extremely expansive and feature-rich. Onboarding is a bit of a process as a result of the expansive amount of configuration required to get everything talking. That being said, their onboarding team is there every step of the way to guide you through it and make it a success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The simplistic design of the platform and the organization or all the elements of the network you monitor in an easy and comprehensive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, the experience has been pretty simple and easy to go along with. Nothing bad so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
