The tools (packages) available for building RPA automations is extensive. The UI is easy to use and has two different ways of viewing the code, both of which are extremely visual. Having many different types of variables to choose from like string, number, Boolean, table etc. allows you to structure inputs and outputs well and handle most situations. The platform makes capturing parts of any web page or desktop application easy. Being able to break the steps of an automation down into smaller sub-tasks and re-usable components accelerates development and makes the code more manageable. The platform also allows you to trigger automations with file drops or even e-mail, as well as scheduling the automation at specific times of day, days of the week and more. Lastly, being able to call APIs allows for easy integration with other platforms, services, and automations. Implementing an automation is also extremely easy . Having multiple developers work on the same project is difficult as once one person has code checked out they are the only one who can edit. There is no 'merge code' functionality as there is on other development platforms. Documentation for each package (feature) could be improved with more examples, screenshots, tips, and use cases. I don't like simple tasks that don't involve decision making and work that doesn't generate value over and over again. However, in practice, what is required from the surroundings is to execute such simple work and repetitive work. Then there is no value as a human being. It can only be repeated. Humans are not such a thing.

Automation Anywhere makes it easy to create automations for both the beginner and the seasoned Automator. Its versatility is tremendous with both built in modules and functions plus the ability to add custom Python or Scripting to accomplish the task at hand.

Furthermore, the recorder feature makes integration with 3rd party applications its most powerful feature. The ability to duplicate user mouse actions, copy and paste data, and also efficiently loop thru html screens is a winner.

although the Automation Anywhere customer support is top notch and very responsive. the need to improve the time to repair for bugs and new features is very evident. What I love most about Automation Anywhere is how its intuitive interface makes bot-building a breeze, even for someone without a hardcore technical background. While Automation Anywhere is a fantastic platform, I’ve encountered occasional challenges with debugging complex bots, which can sometimes be time-consuming. Additionally, certain advanced features might feel overwhelming initially and require a bit of a learning curve. Automation Anywhere is constantly upgrading their software and adding new features to stay ahead in the industry. Their IQBot for document processing is very well layed out and easy to identify target fields and add custom logic if necessary. The script formatting of their development environment is very user friend and easy to locate commands. There are over 500 commands available including scripts and I haven't run into a scenario yet where I couldn't find a feature to connect with an application. I've been able to log output data very easily to files and interface with Excel very easily, including running macros and this has helped a lot with what we've been trying to accomplish. I also like the University of Automation Anywhere as they have a lot of resources available to read and a cloud version even where you can test the software. I dislike some of the features to the Metabot because I am not able to edit an existing metabot in the sense of copying the logic from one metabot to another and changing some of the tasks inside and uploading to the server. This has caused a lot of rework in the processes I've had to automate. I don't like how you can't pull out tabs on the top and can only have one window open at a time. And maybe this is a personal problem, but when I leave the tab and come back, it starts at the top and I always have to scroll back to where I was rather than staying in the same spot. What I like the most about Automation Anywhere is that they provide a lot of very useful and easy to use "out of the box" action to implement in your automation flows to tackle real world business challenges. Automation Anywher comes with a variety of actions/tools like (APIs or Sharepoint) to integrate almost everything in your solutions. The WLM Workload Management feature will let you spread time critical tasks to a pool of bot runners to handle these transaction much quicker. But for me very special is the effort put into the courses, learning trails, delta trainings, #BotGames and the skill boosters which will create a enjoyable and interresting learning experience. I'm using different RPA tools for the past 2 years in my organization. Among those tools Automation Anywhere is one of the best tool which is more stable and have wide variety of options to automate all the tasks in any application or web related things. This tool is best for automating all ERP's such as SAP, Oracle etc. I used this tool to automate BMC using it's API via Automation Anywhere and it is very stable and withing in seconds tasks are getting completed and literally zero error. The dynamic link library option for automating SAP is really fast and reliable. My favorite option in this tool is MetaBot and we use this to avoid repetition of developing same task. The best part of this tool is that once we deploy our bots we can monitor them using the enterprise control room orchestrator API and also the analytical and graphical view of the number of Bots running or faulted bots etc is very easy to understand in a quick glance. The first and foremost thing I hate about this tool is that the user interface is not attractive and not easy as like other RPA tools. Another thing I don't like in this tool is that in the command tab there is no search option for activities so the user have to scroll down and expand and search themselves for finding a particular activity which will result in time waste.
