**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best aspects is the Cloud saving and restore.
anybody who is authorised can view the model no matter where they are which is really amazing.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

If you are an autodesk user, especially autodesk fusion 360 user, then this extension will simplify your work because part exporting is not needed

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Software-wise it was alright and does its job quite well, however, it is just not too popular in SEA

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I was designing with fusion 360 it helped a lot because its an extension. However, I migrated to other software which is more popular in my region (not because of the software's ability but rather just to make it easier to communicate with clients and manufacturers).

  ### 30. Top noch 3D designing software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhay S. | Full stack web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Autodesk Fusion 360 is one of the best 3D designing software which I always prefer when I want to make some 3D Toy or daily life tool. the feature (Draw for solid, surface, sheet metal) of Autodesk fusion is Very easy and handy to use.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

I am an amateur and always think to do Some creative things, this is the reason I utilize my effort to make some interesting toys, and a Home essentials tool using Autodesk fusion. Overall It is a good software for 3D designing, and The UI Could be improved.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Fusion 360 software gives wings to my and my brother's dreams. We are always passionate to make new things for our projects, and with the help of Autodesk fusion 360, we are able to make our drone project.

  ### 31. Efficient but a pricey add-on

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

The compatibility with 5-axis machining and advanced tool axis control like no other. I used to run sprutcam previously and the switch to this extension made life so much easier for multi-axis CNC machining.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

The pricing is definitely on the higher side unless the utility overly justifies the same. The trial is available for a very limited time of 14 days. Makes it uneconomical for users with only limited or specific feature requirements.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned before, 5-axis simultaneous milling was made possible only with this machining extension. Update on toolpath modification allowing it without the need for entire recalculation of path came in handy.

  ### 32. Fusion 360 is a solid drafting program

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management

  ### 34. Machining extension review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

It was very helpful when i used it with my water jet machine , it helped me specify every single parameter

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Some of my chinese products didn't work well with the machinig extension

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me have only one license for all my applications, whether it was 3d printing or machining, all was included in fusion

  ### 35. Simple and economical 3D software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Pleasant and intuitive interface. Simple yet complete tools. You can get it at a very good price and always with a one-month free trial. Ideal for starting in the world of 3D design.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Working in the cloud, although you can work locally in a not very comfortable way. The tools work a bit differently from what is most common in the 3D world, but that would be a matter of getting used to it.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used the trial version to evaluate if we would keep the program. Ultimately, we declined it due to the cloud-based work and because it might not have suited our work needs.

  ### 36. Perfect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Easy to understand UI. All basic features are available within reach. Smooth online cloud-based storage and collaborative workflow availability between colleagues. Simulations all done online. Timline history-based editable design.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Occasional bugs in the features. May run slow at times unless working offline. Simulation takes longer to complete on the cloud than locally solving. Not yet a finished product.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows to draft designs digitally rather than manually with pen and paper. Also solves simulations that would otherwise take too long to solve by hand or even be impossible.

  ### 37. Software Like No Other!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kolawole A. | 3D Product Design Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

I have been using Fusion 360 for over 3 years now as an Undergraduate and ever since I've been using it...I've always had the best experience using the software. The User Interface is easy to use and understandable.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

All things work fine with this software just the subscription aspect.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Just use it

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fusion 360 has helped in many ways starting from usage to solving daily structural problems we encounter daily. The software is widely used in the engineering sector to develop, birth and iterate new inventions.
Fusion 360 is also used in the Medical world to design Prosthetics for humans.

  ### 38. Lot of stuffs you can do and its very powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umaid S. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

The options, different kinds of features and options like you can do one task using many other functions. I mainly used 2d drawing and extruding revolving on-axis

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Actually, there are many different versions for this, there's one like you can use it for free for one year (basically a work from the home plan) but the charge for the main plan is just too much, for countries like India, i guess 24k INR/year is a bit too high.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Get used to the functions, do simple designings, and explore all the options to design, then only start proper designing.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I did different designs for learning and used them to complete my assignments like making a working screwdriver and different other daily items, I used other software too, like solidEdge, but that was a bit confusing. At the same time, fusion 360 is way more straightforward and creative.

  ### 39. It's a powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony W. | Estimator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Being able to create assemblies in context and make as-built joints after the fact is something I couldn't live without anymore. Creating several different parts simultaneously while being able to see their relationship to each other is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

It's a little buggy. Some problems require researching the forums to find a workaround until a patch is pushed. Some issues persist for quite a while, while others are fixed instantly.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Take a good look at inventor as well. I wound up outgrowing some aspects of fusion and moving some of my workflows to inventor, but I still use fusion daily to knock up quick projects and shop drawings. You cannot beat fusion's speed.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can create an entire assembly one piece at a time as one big block, then break it into parts after the fact. This allows me to design with parts relationships in mind the entire time.

  ### 40. Excellent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timileyin A. | Design Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Cloud Based with it's workflow which aid CAD/CAM

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Nothing with the fact that is a professional estimate at software

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Literally, their is nothing Fusion 360 cannot be use for just have the intuition align with the Tip and trick of the software.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help with interact with each other from the server to the client

  ### 41. Fusion 360 allows me to throw my thoughts into robust design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

I'm a maker, I work in many different materials and incorporate many other components, and I have access to rapid prototyping gear. Fusion 360 is key to my workflow, I can go from a rough idea to a working prototype in much less time than any other platform I have used. I can also refine quickly because of the way fusion is designed. It's an amazing design tool.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

I wish their hobbyist license would allow you to buy credits for the more professional parts of the tool. I can't afford an annual license fee, but I could afford on-demand credits to use for things like generative design and simulation. I miss having simulation so much, and have to resort to tools outside of the Autodesk suite to fulfill this need.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

People are committed to other tools due to legacy or training; anytime I converse with other designers and explain the feature set and integration, they try it. It's free to try; you should give it a go.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are too many to list. I think if you design wisely this is the most flexible design tool out there. It's also constantly innovating, and it just seems to have a way to communicate with any design service or device I use.

  ### 42. Affordable and extremely powerful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin H. | New Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

There is so much good going on with Fusion it is honestly hard to say. I love that it is completely portable and that I can take with me on several devices, including my phone! Without question, the most valuable tool for me at the moment, is the integrated CAM functionality. I can design and fabricate real parts in a matter of minutes!

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Fusion is still a work in progress and they continue to add new features every week. It's hard to keep up with all the advances but they are definitely welcomed!

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to create complex models for manufacture in a short amount of time. I can design simple parts and machine them in a matter of minutes. I can also quickly iterate and create visual renderings to share with clients.

  ### 43. Industrial Design Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

the interface, the way that the button appears

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

I can group the bodies and the sketches, some times the sketch from the dxf doesn't recognize the circles.
THE DRAWINGS TOOLS ARE NOT FULL THERE ARE MISSING A LOOT OF THEM, YOU CAN SEE THE SOLIDWORKS TOOLS FOR INSPIRATION

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

More tools on the drawing area there is just primary tool and you cant change easy dimensions, sometimes the system just stuck and you need to wait a bit, the export files are corrupted and you cant use them on a new program so the solutions are to redesign the part.
The renders are now the best but acceptable.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Production and design problems.

  ### 44. Comprehensive tool with affordable price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario V. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Part repository online. Intuitive interface, preparing you to migrate to Inventor once ready. Low monthly cost, good value for money

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Not fully capable to manage very big models, operation speed heavily depends on network capabilities and server status, sometimes laggy on laptops

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy 3D parametric and not-parametric modelling, assembly of multiple parts coming from different CAD systems

  ### 45. Great price, great product, great service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam O. | Lead Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Fusion is cost-effective, easy to use, and easily scales to team size. Having only one file format and one file to build everything is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Joints (known as mates in other software) are not intuitive, making assemblies difficult. N everything modeled in CAD is supposed to move, so constraining items properly using joints to reflect reality can be cumbersome. Creating manufacturing 2D drawings is also lacking some key functionality; specifically GD&T.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

I recommend you trial it and see if it works for your needs. It is highly capable but lacking in 2D production drawings.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I generally use Fusion 360 to model enclosures and basic mechanical systems. I am a a small company working with other small companies; using Fusion has kept my costs low and helped pass that savings on to my customers.

  ### 46. Best Choice for Technical Designs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Autodesk's Fusion 360 is the best tool for designing both 2D and 3D structures. It is the best tool for Design and Engineering. We use it to do PCB designing in the company. Fusion 360 offers everything that a designer will need for proper designing components on a PCB board. It also has some other features which are very helpful like 3D printing.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

some people who are more accustomed to other CAD software like AUTOCAD may face some problems at first because its the user interface is different and complex. It's not completely free for everyone, a subscription is needed after the trial period is over. Fusion 360 software becomes laggy sometimes. User Interface can be improved

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving many things with the Autodesk Fusion 360 like PCB Designing, 3D and 2D designs, 3D printing. It has helped me and the company a lot because it has many features and is quite useful for everyone. It has definitely increased productivity because all works related to designing engineering can now be done in a single software.

  ### 47. Fusion 360 is a powerful, cost-effective alternative to SolidWorks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyler Z. | Drafting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Some top points of Fusion 360, in my experience, are as follows:
• Perhaps the best part is the powerful Timeline that allows "going back in time" to make a change that should have been done previously.
• Another fine tool is the Drawing mode that creates detailed breakdowns and cut lists.
• The Sheet Metal mode allows a nice variety of bend options when designing sheet metal components.
• The powerful Simulation mode works very well to test components.
• The ability to export to a wide variety of files such as .step is very useful.
• The variety of joints and animations available are very nice for testing clearances.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

There is very little I dislike about Fusion 360, although there is the rare occasion where it temporarily locks up, but usually the auto-save has your back. I also have some trouble with details in the timeline easily getting affected by other details that I have edited, but that is largely user error.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

I recommend Fusion 360 as a complete, modern CAD software that is powerful enough to compete with software that is astronomically more expensive than Fusion 360.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We chose Fusion 360 over Solid Works because of cost, and have found that it has plenty of capability for what we need. We use it to design various parts and other product solutions in the poultry equipment industry. We usually send these files to our local laser shop to cut out the parts for us.

  ### 48. Fusion360 - A long Time User Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brunel B. | Jr. PCB Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

I have been using Fusion360 for as long as i can remember. It's a very convenient, easy to get started with 3D modelling software. My favorite part of it is the parametric design. You want a line? Select the tool, click where you start, insert the length and the angle... Voilà.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Its PCB Design integration. In my opinion, it's terrible.
Another dislike would be the Altium codesigner integration. Work is needed there. But it's been updated a few times in the past month or so. So we know work is being done

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Fusion360 is for those needing a quick, easy to learn Modeling software. It integrates all the functionality one might need for any design. It also integrates support for various types of screws for those needing them, and has a quite neet rendering interface

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a PCB Designer, part of my job incudes generating component parts. It helps to have accurate 3D representations of the components used.

Additionally, I use Fusion360 to edit DXF files and sometimes generate DXF files to be used in my PCBs.

  ### 49. For me, the best 3D modeling software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico C. | Quality Manager - CX and UX Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

For many years, I used Rhinoceros 3D, then some others, like SolidWorks, etc. Each one of these programs had amazing things, and they functioned all well, with their strengths and weaknesses, but well. When Fusion 360 was born, it seems that they managed to analyze each virtue of the different programs, and unified it into one. What I like the most is that it has EVERYTHING you dream of when you start modeling in 3D.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Some works with guidelines and vectors were sometimes difficult. In this sense, Rhinoceros had a way of solving lines very well. Fusion had problems, to cut them, to join them, but they have been solving it. These types of lines are essential when developing moderately complex structures

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Learning to handle all of your options, tools, and capabilities takes time. But it really is a very rewarding time. If you like SolidWorks, you will come to love Fusion 360, as it has its great advantages present. If you want to freeform modeling, Fusion 360 is a lot of fun. It is amazing software.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fusion 360 allows you to design products from scratch, or start with blueprints or other models. Then you can do great renderings, stress tests, and much more. It really is a complete product development center

  ### 50. Product Design for All

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?**

Fusion is online and all my assets are always safe somewhere in the cloud makes this tool excel.

**What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?**

Knowing those core elements from Lagoa Render engine is inside Fusion360, I wish a better material and light features in it. Perhaps a better way to save cameras, AOVs and things needed for a final image. I can get great results with its render, but it needs more care. It has the potential to be a better big player in the CAD render arena if Autodesk invests a little bit more.

**Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Fusion:**

Organize your project folders properly and make sure you name each version correctly; otherwise, it will be impossible to track the past once you have hundreds of projects in and no one else will understand your workflow.

**What problems is Autodesk Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fusion came to me initially as a tool to solve some furniture design problems I was having and it turned out to be great! I was amazed by how simple it is with a minimal learning curve. Autodesk and the Fusion360 team are always doing a great job producing tutorials and walk troughs that are truly insightful.
