I like how everything is connected. The linking of Issues to RFI's to Potential Change orders without having to change systems is a huge game-changer. and then being able to connect sheets and files to various filters and report on those records is extremely powerful. There isn't much to dislike, in general, it handles construction workflows very efficiently. As a manager for a prefab concrete company, I can see a few tweaks that could make it extremely attractive and powerful, like easily connecting to a local database for syncing assets and other data. Conceptually I think that ACC is a great idea. Having a unified platform for a project start to finish, that accommodates everyone from designers, consultants, owners, builders, etc.

Being able to handle design, CA, coordination, budget, is all so valuable as the industry moves into the digital age. And integrating into a single hub is so much better than many different programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This has to be one of the most user unfriendly applications ever. Not only is there multiple platforms, BIM 360(old I know) but Autodesk docs, collaborate pro, ACC, etc. I have clients asking what the differences are, or what license they need. It's not clear because there seems to be no consistency. Additionally the packages is not intuitive in the slightest. Just, all of it. There just seems to be a lack of finesse and simplicity. I like how ACC allows multiple disciplines to work together with options of how or when backgrounds are updated in each model. It is also great how I can work on a project anywhere with internet. I'm a BIM manager and have been able to teach my BIM techs and engineers how to use it easily. My company and most of our clients use ACC so that makes things a lot more streamlined throughout the life of a project. The only thing that I don't like is that all privileges are given out by the project admin. There are some functions that don't need gatekeeping and would be great to have availible to me. I work on the structural engineering side so most of the projects I have on ACC are administrated by the architect. Things like adding team members or deciding for ourselves if we want a published or live link. ACC really combines the functionality of many tools into one convenient, connected location. Rather than having to ask project partners to collaborate with us across multiple platforms we're now able to add users to one platform where they all have a personalized summary of their tasks, they can access the latest information, and they can collaborate on solving daily project challenges. ACC certainly isn't perfect. There are certain tools that would benefit from feature improvements, and Autodesk is working hard to fill those gaps.

I primarily use the PlanGrid function of Autodesk Construction Cloud. The tool is very effiecient for the on-site survey work that we frequently do. Taking photos and adding notations is very easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel that there are some differences in the design of the PlanGrid ACC iPad app and the PlanGrid website. This causes some shortcomings in the website. A couple things I notice include the lack of ability to select all markups for quickly publishing to the system. This can be challenging when doing field surveys in large buildings with hundreds of markups. ACC promotes seamless collaboration across teams by enabling real-time access to project data, drawings, and models. This ensures that everyone involved, from design to construction, is on the same page, reducing errors and improving efficiency. The Docs module is a must have and is the starting point of your collaboration journey. It allows many modules to be used from review to issue management, crossing clash checking, VR, construction follow-up, ...

Also the IT side is managed in background by Autodesk so not have to take care about it and the fact to have good performances.

It gives designers of all levels an intuitive interface, with powerful features, and a vast library of assets that allow for seamless creation of good visuals, from simple graphics to complex layouts, all while maintaining a smooth workflow and incredible flexibility. Autodesk Construction Cloud is very useful to the company I work for to help us maintain all of our current/active projects in an organized fashion. Uploading plans is quick and easy, with the ability to assign sheet number and titles to each automatically. This is especially useful when dealing with large projects with hundred of plan sheets. The RFI module is also useful to send out information requests directly to the customer. Customer support is always helpful and typically solves any issue that is brought to their attention. If they cannot fix the problem right away, they always follow up with a response in a timely fashion. As an admin for my company, I spend a lot of my time using this platform to help maintain the structure for other employees and to make sure information stays up to date for all users. Not much to dislike about Autodesk Construction Cloud. There are a few minor features that unfortuately we cannot change, such as a few issue tags or the ability to have a regular user adjust their view of the Files structure.
