I am new to the construction industry. As a new service provider, I have alot to learn and ACC and tools like the Big Room have helped be get my feet wet while still allowing me to add value to the industry. I provide converged security services to this industry now and ACC and Big Room have made this integration much easier on me. Been a user and client of Autodesk since probably AutoCad 1.0, so much respect for their products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Still trying to navigate, a number of areas I likely will never use so I am hoping future versions will customize to make it simplified to my daily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Speed of the cloud, ability to freely use permissions as desired. Reliability of uptime of data. Availability of programming on top of the cloud using APS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inconsistent and complex use of 'permissions' in ACC. Tough to baseline, almost impossible to do proper revision management. The current way of workflows and permissions in Docs are currently aimed towards copies of files rather than version sharing based on metadata. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The sharing features through creating issues and setting up shared folder for revit to civil 3d coordination. The model coordination is a great tool to get all diciplines including Civil to run clash detection, it is more simple to setup though some filters are missing, than navis. The images, wish it looked more like BIM 360. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The A.C.C. allows our firm to manage all of the input/output from our internal/outsourced stakeholders per project, and the efficiency has been excellent. Particularly with respect to Revit's Cloud Worksharing and Design Collaboration, we've had a lot of success under our initiatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, the main hiccups we have encountered have mostly been with the version comparison limitations on Model Coordination. I understand why it was designed the way that it was, but there are arbitrary limits on the ways that we can visualize our comparisons in 3D. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My company finds it very easy to use ACC and it helps us collaborate easily with other companies to share our models with each other. It's been a great transition from what we did before and saves us a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about ACC is that I don't know more about it which is on me and not on the program/software itself. Our company doesn't need a lot from it but I think we could use more of what it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Makes it easy to share and view files in a browser. Viewing Revit models/sheets, and seeing the version history is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is not as intuitive as it could be (to be be nice), and does not follow conventional standards.
For example of something basic, the only way to make a subfolder is from the left hand tree view. This does not match any other file structure user interface and is confusing to both new and existing users. It should be possible to right-click the white space in a folder to perform many actions including creating subfolders. At the absolute least, "Create Folder" should be visible at the top where other commands are visible.
As a second example, it should be possible to drag and drop files into subfolders or other folders in the left-hand tree view. It is not possible, and the "Move" button must be used which is slow and annoying to use by comparison. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a BIM manager, my workday is often interrupted by requests from folks who don't know Revit, but need some sort of screenshot or model data. With ACC, I'm able to empower these team members by giving them access to the model data and 3D visualization. Not only does this enable people to get the data they need, it also helps them understand the project as they are able to intuitively navigate around the model. A frustration I experience with ACC is the convoluted web of modules that sit on top of docs. It's difficult to rememeber what feature lives where (Save View is in Model Coordination, not Docs, or Assets is only available with Build, etc.). Not to mention, half the modules are behind a paywall and management doesn't want to keep adding licenses to our already complex list of licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's an improvement to have a central interface for all of the different aspects and phases of a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be helpful to have more control and filtering of permissions to access different modules.
Specifically, the cost module should be able to be blocked from almost all users if wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Once users understand how ACC ties together, the streamlining of moving through CDs and CA is impressive. As long as it's fully used it's great, if someone doesn't use it, it does make things more complicated but we work around that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rebranding of tools which makes it hard for non technical users to know what is what and how the tools are used / integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The usefulness between various entities for coordination on a single project is helpful for my firm on large projects. Not having to email backgrounds or link in separate models from consultants helps save us time and keep coordination issues low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, the biggest obstacle is getting consultants to understand the UI, especially if they are using it for the first time. There are too many steps for each entity to have to follow in order to publish, package, and consume everyone's model so we are seeing what is current. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
