Autodesk provides intuitive technology for the construction trades and makes the job simple from every angle. The field workers have plans and data at their fingertips throughout the project, even with changes and replanning. The Project Managers posses the ability to approve and communicate with everyone associated to the project at anytime with full visibility. Autodesk has taken our old process' and made them more effecient and automated. The implementation of Autodesk was quick and easy, even for some of our more "old-school" employees. The file editor is a bit slow, still useable but much easier to prep documents and stamp approval in other programs. In our office we still recieve documents via Autodesk, stamp via external app (BlueBeam) then re-upload for approval. If this process were to be updated to have the same ease as other programs, but web based, it would be our sole program for the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To work synchronously with BIM models from Revit, the Revit Worksharing extension is necessary. And you cannot load a folder that contains subfolders from the file explorer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clash detection features are available via the model coordination tool. Currently, one of the main benefits of using this tool is how the clash models are linked to the Autodesk docs. This means that when model updates are published by subcontractors/consultants, models are automatically updated and clashes rerun. This removes the model upload process that some other softwares, which makes it easier to update models, can save time, as well as reduce potential issues caused via human error. The model coordination tool is currently in an unpolished state. Various features need to be reviewed/developed in order to improve workflows and usability.
For example, when in a model view, the clashes tab will show you an isolated view of all the clashes between selected models in red and green. However, once you assign a clash as an "issue", it is removed/hidden from the clash tab. This means that once you have marked everything as issues and assigned it to the relevant trades, the clash tab will be blank.
This makes it difficult to undertake any visual high level reviews of the status of clash resolution. (i.e. remaining total clashes, clashes per trade, clash hotspots etc.). The only way to do this would be by manually reviewing each issue which is time consuming.
Because of this, alternate workflows had to be implemented to ensure the clash tool could still be used as a high level heat map. However this caused different issues down the line as a result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
FIles accessible in the cloud and ability to work share Revit/Cad files. Ability to integrate issues with Revit and define assets and attach data to that asset from within the assets module Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like to see more functionality in the assets module - an easy way to see the assets information in the Revit model, display in plan based on data fields in the asset tab (ie turn all assets red that equal unverified), ability to select an asset in plan view and have the assets tab pop up to add data from the mobile application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Transparency, cloud based solution for multi-office practice, fast, easy to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As part of the onboarding team we find the process for new users requires too many steps ie - need a license, need permissions, need invite Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
