There were a lot of good features in BIM 360 that Autodesk did not carry forward into ACC. Issues and forms workflow was better in BIM360. Also for new users, it can take a lot of a time to learn the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many different modules you can utilize for your project's needs. You can also add them on at a prorated rate for the remainder of your term with AutoDesk. The implementation process has been great but it is led by a third party team. We utilize this system on a daily basis and hope to integrate many more projects to this platform. The lack of customizable permissions in project templates for the build module is very frustrating but they're working on it. The permissions we have access to at the project level are generic and not as easy to manipulate for our use cases as we would like. Project Plans can't be updated in Autodesk, they have the option to "suggest" modifications but you have to create the change in Microsoft Project and upload a new version instead of making revisions where the project team can see everything instantly. ACC allows a project to live in one place where owners, contractors, architects, and engineers all have the ability to collaborate instead of being siloed in their own products. ACC offers a solution for each phase of the project lifecycle, and offers a wide range of APIs and plug-ins to communicate with other products outside of Autodesk. It's great to be able to publish to the sheets module for field App viewing. The ACC app works great on mobile devices with the sheets module. Syncing a project for offline viewing is a big help too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While there is a Revit file viewer built in the web app, linked elements don't always show up. There is a bit of time delay from saving a model in Docs to being able to publish to the sheets module. The learning center is great for a comprehensive training but too combersome for users who are not admins. Additionally there is no quick learn for owners and architects or even subcontractors.
