The best thinh about construction cloud is its version control and the feature to compare between different versions. It is a really helpful feature when you work on large projects with many stkeholders. And it makes the non revit users in the task teams to collaborae better. ACC really helps us collaborate between a lot of different entities and solve complex issues in real time. I really enjoy the constant updates to allow us to view the latest and greatest drawings. ACC cloud also functions as a accessible file access system on the desktop. This allows new users to navigate the project documents a lot easier than the web based interface. I do think that a challenge to the web based interface is a bit challenging to use and navigate. I think the link tree that is currently in place doesn't seem like a viable way to see files. I do think that the desktop version could be changed a little as far as syncing goes. Intially I installed the desktop app that downloaded every single drawing/document that used all of the free space on my C drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was originally using ACC BIM Cordination & Project Management for document management and job site to office reporting. We have jobs all over the country and these features have saved me loads in shipping (my supers used to have to FedEx their paperwork weekly) as well as tons of time I used to spend verifing all sorts of differnet information for bookkeeping and other project management purposes. I recently learned that ACC was offering expanded services, several of which I had been outsourcing, and I have not only been saving thousands but getting more accurate numbers since I started using the Estimating and Takeoff products. ACC's customer support is also phenomenal, I had an issue and they had 4 different agents trying to sort it out for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wouldn't say dislike necessarily, but implementing some of the products isn't super easy. If there was a "quick reference guide" that laid out the basic functions of each product and how to complete each function, it would the make them alot more user friendly and maybe a little less intimidating to new and potential users. There are some glitches and features that are missing that other programs like BIM360 and Procore use, but I understand ACC is constantly adding new features. I sent soecific questions into the most recent ACC Webinar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When used internally, its a great tool to review model changes (via version history) , review drawings. Also its a great way to control incoming information and manage that information. We have also started to use this tool in conjunction with the ipad App allowing us to now create views from model coordination and view models on site where internet connection is not available. ACC is used on majority of our projects as the main CDE which is great as the full design team is on the same system. This is a great single space for RFI's, transmittals, creating issues and tracking issues and because of familiarity, it is easier to pick up and continue to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We need more contractors to use ACC and use as the main CDE. There are many functions to ACC which we may not even know so it would be great to have regular updates (CPD style) presentations so we keep up to date with all the functions. Alot of the functions of ACC i've had to find myself through trial and error - for example, we wanted a way to view drawings and federated 3D models on site where internet connection is not available. I found a workflow for this via trail and error so it would have been good to know from before. Also the workflow may not be the best or the most efficient way so we need more one to one connection with Autodesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the design teams and the GC's teams can collaborate in near real time on drawing data as well as sharing printed files, docs, and meeting minutes. The fact that ACC offers cloud storage with no data cap is a great help for file storage and sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It could still be more user friendly for ease of setup in regard to team member access, who is allowed to see what features and documents.

Some company specific functionality is lost when using certain apps and tools. We are still working on changing the way we do certain tasks and the functionality may be restored once those work processes are reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ACC gives very easy to use. As an administrator the ease of implementation is high. That results that our users are quickley up to speed. The integration with Revit is one of the key features for us. The potential to collaborate with a team on multiple locations at once is key. For the field we integrated the functionality to generate a QR code on the sheets at approval (DoCheck). makes it easey to check if the printed version is the latest. The large model browser needs som extra investment for a more smooth navigation on large moddels. A 2 block 3 story building detailed MEP model is very hard to view on the web. Some automation to generate quality check forms per location would be very helpfull to prepare the project for the job site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the bridging features where you can link projects and measuring pipe lengths based off of center to centers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
