Autodesk Construction Cloud is the most versatile platform for working on AECO projects, it has many functionalities through its modules, it allows you to maintain useful information for all project members. Document management, collaborative design, specialty coordination, construction control. It's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the compatibility it has with multiple formats, I use it all the time! It has become the global standard for "Common Data Environment" and is aligned with ISO 19650. It is very intuitive to learn. and through APS allows integration with multiple solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the members being visible to everyone on the project as well as the Bridge tool to link with external clients while not forfeiting either companys project standards. Assigning permissions to members is still simple and it's easy for everyone to see. More and more projects in the company are being created on Autodesk Construction Cloud and there are no issues or regrets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One main feature that hasn't been added is not being able to see what version of revit the model is in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like about Autodesk Construction Cloud is the fact that, it gathers all fields of work in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry.
It easy to Collaborate here, no one is left behind. The file tool where all documents of a particular project are found, is accessible to anyone who needs access to. Creating a problem is simple, with markup tools available for plans of a project.
In short, ACC facilitates Collaboration amongst different fields of the Construction industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When a problem is assigned to a person in the project, an e-mail is not sent to the person to whom the problem was assigned to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ACC has a wide and comprehensive platform to navigate through different options such as Files, Meetings, RFIs/Submittals etc. The best part I highly appreciate about ACC is the Submittals/RFIs Tab. It allows smooth workflow among all the involved parties such as GC/sub-contrators/Architect/Consultants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ACC doesn't have anough features to edit files/add markups online unlike Bluebeam. Not very easy to use. Sometimes take a long time to sync. Informtation is not updated really fast. Also, not every company uses this software due to high price, so the sole purpose of collaboration is felt missing sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way we can collaborate and link different models across different consultants in a seamless way, having the ability to synch in real live is a game changer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be more helpful if ACC would allow for more interaction between consultants in a live mode Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe the best part of ACC is the fact that its cloud based. Everything can be accessed from anywhere (for the most part). Anyone can be added to the specific job and boom, you have access to everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my honest opinion, i believe that ACC's Bridging section needs a bit of work. I feel like it should be able to bridge files from project to project seamlessly and currently it is very convoluted to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A consolidated platform that covers a wide variety of the design and construction data management workflows. It allows the data to be accessed from a single location, and makes it more convenient for various stakeholders to access this data. It has a clean interface, making it relatively simple to use, and users can get up and running quickly with minimal training, or even self-paced learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While core functionality is present, some of them are pretty basic and lag behind the competitors. An example of this is the transmittals module, which while present, still does not has very basic functionality on reporting, summary views, and the like. Access through the API also needs to be imporved in order to connect with other data management system that the organisation uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the easy ability to login from anywhere and view files required to complete my role, i can do this easily from my office or at home or on my phone out and about Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mainly user error it is hard to edit or change an issue of a file without other parties rejecting the file back to me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I fully agree with the basic idea of sharing data on the ACC and allocating access rights and approval flows as appropriate.
In particular, the ability to allocate custom attributes to files, issues, etc. in the Docs tab is great.
I also have high expectations for the recently released Content Catalog feature. It would be useful if it were possible to centrally manage the sharing of family views across projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. There is a lack of usability in the rush to add features. As far as I can think of at the moment:
- The width of the sidebar and pull-down menus cannot be changed, and the text often gets cut off.
- It is a hassle to manually add project members and update Docs Attributes one by one, so it would be convenient to have a function that allows you to do this in bulk, such as by uploading an Excel file.
2. The API is not being updated. Normally, we think that the ideal situation is that you can perform operations beyond what you can do on the ACC using the API, but there are problems, for example, as follows
- The Build > RFIs API is 'deprecated'.
- The API response and the display on the ACC are different, which is confusing and causing confusion in web development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ACC is exactly what I've needed to help get the information required out to my project team. ACC hosts our typical document workflows with RFIs/Submittals, houses our specifications, drawing sets, models, and more. It has been tough to share access to many different softwares and websites to my project team in the past and ACC finally created a place to go for everything needed! As a VDC resource, I am so excited to utilize and share the model viewing capabilities that ACC has. I also love that ACC is very mobile friendly and all this information can easily be accessed out in the field on our jobsites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The last thing I think that ACC needs is seemless integration with Navisworks clash detection. If ACC could pull on Navis clash detection as well as BIM Track for issue management, it would really become a single resource for myself and my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
