I really like that ACC's is consistent across the platform. Many of its features are visually similar, share terminology, and the learning curve from each tool is not huge. For example Build, Model coordination, and the 3D model viewer share annotation commands, terminology like "Issues" or "assets" and the visual style is consistent as well. Autodesk also makes quick updates, bug fixes, or adding new features often to ACC, while providing notifications on thos updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ACC can add more member permission types. For example, only admins can add team members, but many of our team "members" would like to add their own users to their folders. Also some of our users would like the ability to use use Docs only without paying for a complete BCP license. Like our contractors or owners who will not be participating in design but would like to view our models or be added to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part is all the connected data and the open APIs makes it possible to integrate to almost everything. Support is easy accessable in ACC, just a click away for the live chat, and that is convinient. ACC is a huge platform with an overwheling amount of features, I'll reccomend to implement some part at a time, not everything at once. It is easy to implement if you get support from Autodesk or a partner og Autodesk. They will help you out to get off in the right direction. A good thing is that all data can follow the project all the way to handover. ACC gives a single source og truth and are pretty intiuitive to use. I use ACC every day and I wish there was an ACC for private use too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features are not as good as expected, and still a few "basic" features all compeditors have is unfortunatly lacking that might be a dealbreaker for some companies. Support somtimes use long time to fix your issue and the issue get shuffled around in the support system sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The management of folders, data, and access by Role, Individual, and COmpany along with enabling version control, comparison of versions of models and the MC platform and integration with Revit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That users aren't able to be added to multiple projects at once, and you can't see what proects a user is added to from their details. These would be invaluable when onboarding or seeing where someone is offboarding and had access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like having my models connected with other trades in a live environment and not transferring files via file sharing applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The whole BIM 360 branding is ultra confusing to everyone. Even my reseller, an Autodesk Platinum Reseller, gets confused at times and constantly need to refer to their cheat sheets. That being said, its gotten better over the past two years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a daily user of ACC, I really like the ability to connect with my general contractors at any moment regarding RFIs, Submittals and drawings uploaded to the cloud. Being able to add members to the project, assign a role with permissions and they immediately have access to see mark-ups on drawings without waiting for uploads. The ease of engineers being able to share photos from their phones and upload from the site, while also bridging to clients ACC. ACC has reinvented the platform of AE by enabling real-time sharing with a professional expereince! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extending the use of ACC Build in the area of specifications, BUILD, and DOCs, I'd appreciate the opportunity to have a chatbot, help (text) line or connected to a help desk person with immediate answers to questions versus sending an email and waiting for a reply. On-cloud Clash capability with NWC, RVT, and CAD files. Creating the issues from clashes with dot which remebers the viewpoint, section cut properties along with it, and also the capability to tag the additional details like desciption, person/company to assign the issues to, and status of the issue - open, close, pending, in-review,etc. Dashboard with an overview and the plug-in for navisworks is very handy and useful, which is real time. It is easy to use and also easy to implement. Having the revit file workshared helps trade partners to use the most recent version of files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The viewer of ACC can be improved for website and ipad users, providing better navigations capabilities. Saving the viewpoint by users on cloud could be useful to have for Navieworks file. Additionaly, markups like circle, cloud, line, arrow was available before on Autodesk viewer which is not there now. Having the markups before creating the issue and then saving that makup while creating the issue would be useful. Once the dot is created for issues, is tageed to a specific model, and having that capabiolitiy to change the model tag could be useful, as sometime, the wrong nwc file/rvt file is tagged and when idivudal model is opened, those dots are not available bacause it was not properly tagged. Creating an issue can not bereveresed from cloud, and there has been many instances, where all the clashes of a file are accidently been created into one issue, and that causes all the clash to disappear into one issue. Not having to reverse it makes clashes on cloud unreliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy web access for end users who doesnt have standalone tools -
- 3D models including different file types
- publishing sheets for easy access on field for markups
Good to see that its Getting better a day by day with overall performance and adding new modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Few recommendations -
-Should also support Bentley file formats with all properties to solve Interoperability. It does support to view them but it will be ideal to keep all metadata and supporting dgn as is. For example, utility design files needs to translated to dwg first to be able to view
-Also customization of BIM 360 API to publish sets.
-better linking of project files while doing markups on plans
-that it do not 4D web based module yet
-large models loading time and syncing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Centralized collaboration enables seamless collaboration by connecting teams, documents, and data in one place, reducing miscommunication and errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform can be overwhelming for new users, particularly for those unfamiliar with BIM tools or cloud-based project management software. It may require significant time and training to fully master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The effortless ability to just search for the items you are looking for (with thumbnails) and load instantly to a connected Revit model is the best aspect. The majority of creative people are visual creatures...so having a library now readily available with thumbnail previews of all families and detials we use at their fingertips is great! As a BIM Manager, having a tool that lets my team find a familiy within minutes that is an approved company standard object, makes this tool a huge asset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, the only draw to this is the implementation and library population process. Not a deal breaker by any means, just takes some people more time to get used to a new system and structure when looking for company resources. Also, its a tedious process to upload and organize your companies library up to the Content Catalog (which is true with any library system) but if your not prepared to invest some time into this tool, then it just wont work as well. Ability to span form concept deisgn, through construction into bldg maintenance & mgmt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
release upgrades too early before vetted, and is not super simple interface due to the complexity of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
