**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

When we converted to AudienceView Professional 4 years ago, I was surprised at how easy the integration was. The data conversion was seamless; the training was comprehensive and easy to follow; our team integrated AudienceView Pro into our daily operations without interruption!
As a tiny (but mighty) non-profit arts council supporting all disciplines of art, an intimate performance venue, and Membership benefits, I appreciate that AudienceView Professional is flexible in support of our varied needs - even even those that are sometimes outside the typical event-ticketing process. The customer support team is great about offering creative ideas to help us meet our objectives (such as summer camp registration). 
It is important to track the development cycle of our patrons and supporters, and I appreacite that a CRM is included AND connected to our ticketing, membership, and donation history & activity.
Finally, I very much appreciate the on-going updates to improve the system and user experience overall!

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

I'm not sure I "dislike" anything in AudenceView Professional. Sometimes our needs are unique and it's unreasonable for me to expect custom design for our tiny organization. Besides, customer support is often able to help me accomplish our needs by offering creative ideas

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have rolled out more Member Benefits including discounts on Art Exhibit submissions (payment captured via Products) and Event ticket discounts vary based on membership level in the hopes of incentivizing patrons to attend/participate more. 

Our venue has an open floor performance/listening room, so our seating options may change based on the Performance. We greatly appreciate having multiple seating layouts. It's helpful to be able to kill seats for sale when tickets aren't selling as well and we can spread out our seating set up to look less empty. (Side note: The way killed seats display online - the tables still display - can be confusing for patrons.)

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

One of the biggest reasons why I prefer using AudienceView over other ticketing platforms is the ease of use. Most things are very clear and easy to set up and navigate. And any time I've ever had any questions or issues they've been taken care of very quickly. Their help team is great and timely! One of the other reasons why I love this platform over others is how many detailed things I can do. It makes pulling information on patrons, sales, donations, and everything so much easier and definitely helps me stay organized.

The pricing is a little high-- only if you're not using it for its full potential!

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform allows me to stay organized and keep track of all donors, patrons, and ticket sales. I've tried other companies and did not like how I had to have several other ways of tracking information.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

Audience View Professional has helped to streamline the ticketing process for our Annual Event. The multiple layers of event, patron, donation, and product managament features makes daily use very easy. The implementaiton of events from year to year is extemely easy. We use the dashboard and website provided daily. The integration of links into our marketing and website are seamless and user friendly. Any issues we are addressed in a timely fashion and resolved as soon as possible with multiple updates along the way. We also appreciate the direct contact that support professionals have with our organization and volunteers

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

We have utilized Audience View Professional to assist our organization and would recommend it other users.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience View has solved the long lines on ticket launch days and has offered a patron managament system that is increasing customer engagament and voluteer ease of use. It has also allowed us a more streamlined approach to recurring user tickets and the ability to access patron records from previous years. We have added the donation component with levels for donors and early access to tickets.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

Web-based program is helpful to process orders off-site. Detailed reports give the information we want and need. The ability to integrate a credit card reader is a plus.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

Not being able to connect a cash drawer. Not being able to see the entire seating map at once in the sales program. Would like a program for box office staff to sell only and not be able to modify show settings and details.

None come to mind.

Less box office staff needed. Being able to code tickets so patrons can apply promo on the sales link. Adding fundraiser campaigns to check out. Collecting detailed demographics of patrons.

The consumer interface--especially with recent updates--is very user friendly. Access to basic reporting for both box office activity and donor activity is very accessible.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

Since absorbing OvationTix, there have been numerous improvements to the platform, but they have been slow to roll out. Especially if you have events or venues that are non-traditional in any way, you often have to find "work arounds". Financial reporting is not as clear as it could be.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing patron activity and allowing patrons to fully interact online for nearly all business if they so choose.

The Custome Support is amazing. They are quick, effecient and the help site is updated and great. It is easy to use and train new employees or volunteers. We use it as our main hub for all patron needs.

Some features are not automatically assigned and it requires work order to toggle them on and off.

Easy box office ticket sales flow and at-a-glance sales dashboard. Customizable content calendars, such as only concerts or only films.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

That it is not embaddable into our website! We are unable to measure traffic to AV sales pages preventing full ROI measurement. The report module has a lot of options but can be limiting, such as 1st time patrons is an odd work around report.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AV helps us execute over 70 events a year, creates multi event packages, and memberships with multiple benefits. Easy to reconcile in QuickBooks.

We used to have to double and triple check every ticket, transaction and show...   but this software is fast, reliable, and hard to screw up.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

Haha! If there's any complaint, it is that there are TOO many functions for me to even use!  I have probably only used 25% of the potential options!

I have not noticed anything that needs solving, from my position.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

The software is very feature rich. In contrast with some of its competitors it has a more robust suite of options when it comes to event creation and package management in particular. We also appreciate the improvements AudienceView has made to customer service over the past few years. Tickets are responded to quickly and effectively.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

AV Professional has been built kind of piecemeal over many years, and many of the aspects of the software you would hope operate the same or would link together simply don't. As an example, the interface for pre-show and post-show emails are completely different and neither are exactly user friendly.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We came to AV because we needed affordable ticketing software that could handle seating maps, and experience with that has been excellent. New features have been rolled out since we started that have enabled us to create a better, more legible seating map for our unorthodox space.

The whole process of importing data through to training and final use has been one of my best experiences when changing to a new ticketing platform.
The system itself is easy to use and intuitive for my box office personnel.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

You can customize series, learning portal has many helpful articles so you don't have to contact IT for simple questions, if you do need help, response time is very short and efficient.  Really like you can automate and costomize contact to patrons, such as confirmations, reminders to events, etc.  Also appreciate that we can express needs or suggest improvement and many time they will develope thee updates.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

Have no major dislikes now that I know the system fairly well.  This system has been helpful to other departments also such as Development and Marketing.

I think an area for improvement would be in the reports.  Many of them have repeated information (don't always need addresses, etc.) but check numbers when checks are used would be helpful on some of the reports.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to automatically keep track of patron credits and gift card balances, automatically charging recurring donations and ability to automatically send reminders to patrons regarding events.

The benefits are we don't have to manually do any of the above, thus less person power and more accuracy in carrying out these important patron services.

Easy for customers to navigate. Back of house is user friendly. Service is exceptional. They respond quickly to problems/questions in a friendly and professional manner.

The only downside is that I wish the fees were a little bit lower, but I belive they are at the industry average. I would also prefer to call with a system issue rather than an email.

Professional support is responsive. Although I wish I could directly contact the person I need to speak to, they will not give you their direct email, which is annoying.

It took considerable time to grasp this program; I had to assume responsibility from a rogue volunteer and walked into a chaotic situation.

Does keep track of our Season Ticket holders.  I don't think we are using or know of all that AV can do for us.

Tech Support responds in a timely manner and does all they can to resolve all issues.

Sometimes there are no fixes to the issues, which can be frustrating.

I have issues pulling up patrons who have apostrophes in their last name (O'Day, for example) and am forced to create a new account each time. It appears that the new "SELL" feature might have corrected this issue by locating the proper account.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

Anish Chakravorty is the major difference of great importance to me.  Without Anish's personal attention I could never have been able to sell tickets. 

I am somewhat technically challenged and Anish took all my stress away.  Whenever I had a change to the description or needed group rates Anish was right there to make all the changes necessary.

I won't go any place else to sell tickets.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

I would like to see the seating area blanked out so the ticket buyer has no clue how much activity the performance is receiving.  When a customer wants to buy two tickets in the center orchestra section for example he/she would be offered two tickets generated by the audienceview program.  All the customer would know is that there are at least two tickets remaining in the center orchestra section.  I think it would create more of a sense of urgency to buy the tickets.

It eliminated the necessity of mapping out a digital seating chart which I didn't have a clue how to do.

The ticekting platfom is easy to learn and teach to  staff. Also has all the data and customer info in one spot and very easy to run reports.

it is a bit too expensive for a small theater. the monthly costs could be lower and should be based n tickets sale use as our theater only opperates parallel with the college semester. Summers are dark.
 i dont like having to pay for the services when we are dark over the sumer months.

AudicenceView is fairly easy to learn when transitioning from another ticketing system. The support team is always helpful and will have answers for you or direct you to where you need to go for further information.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

I do not like that someone is not readily available to be contacted by phone when you are in an emergency situation and really need guidance and support. Sometimes you do not have the time to submit a case about your circumstances or the problem you are experiencing and then wait for support to get back with you. We would love to be able to send emails to patrons across the board rather than individualized performnaces they have purchased tickets to. At the moment, we are using Mailchimp to solve this problem. Also, we would love an option when refunding ticket money to a patron that we can keep the convenience fee rather than give a full refund.

At this moment, I am not aware of any problems AView is solving. The last couple of months have been very busy and we have just been trying to execute all of our events to the fullest.

Smooth and easy system, low fees, quick show builds, and a very responsive staff that can assist as needed.

I like that AV has been listening to our requests on what needs improved.  I know one or two things that my theater has directly requested that have been fixed or improved.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

The GUI for the Products is rough.  Would love a lot more flexibility and control over how to organize that, and a more friendly method of selection than a pull-down menu.

They give me a way to sell my tickets to all of my different renting organizations, all of which have different needs and wants.

We use audience view almost daily for our production and donation.  When issues have come up the support site and reps have been helpful and quick.  Printing reports and at event check-in is easy and intuitive.

It is a useful tool for managing online ticket sales and donations, serving as a box office POS, and tracking patron engagement.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

The product has not changed much since the "OvationTix" rebrand. It is essentially the same platform as it has existed for well over a decade now, and it is really starting to show its age. It is also quite expensive!

Biggest downside is needing to establish different pricing tiers for subscriptions vs. allowing a seamless experience for guests to select seats and pay appropriately.

I love how quick the customer support team resolves issues: they responds almost immediately! We need that with a live Box Office for our theatre and with our  24/7 online operation. Quick and efficient.
The platform itself is very easy to comprehend and to train others on

Not much negative to say. sometimes the software has issues when you least expect it and we have to find alternate easy to sell tickets but like I had mentioned previoulsy, the resolution is quick!
Implementation took a long while and we had to have the Box Office closed at the time but I am glad that is over!

So much easier to use - very efficient and the ease and efficiency of the reports are great too

AudienceView has been quick to address any problems when they arise, and to keep me informed of solutions. Their "solution expert professionals" have been a pleasure to work with. It's a very user-friendly program from the administrative side. You aren't constantly changing your program the way many companies do, requiring ongoing training for employees. It has been dependable.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

I would like it to be more customizable, for us to be able to easily change the instructions and graphics on our website, and to be able to give partial refunds when warranted. I would like more options for customizing reports, especially when it comes to being proactively prepared for the system to go down in case of an emergency.

It's able to act as our complete data base for our organization. From tickets, donations, and other events that are ticketed. We are able to keep track of any and every interaction we have with a patron or donor that comes though our organization.

We are still trying to best figure out how to input insitutions and income that comes from them. We wish that soft credits can be altered and printed for recognition.

The best feature of AudienceView Professional is hands down their customer service. They are the friendliest and most helpful team, always responding quickly even to my non-emergency support tickets, and always helping to resolve the issue. Also, they take the customer feedback seriously and make the product work for us.

If I were to have a dislike, it would be that there are a few too many places that need to be perfectly situated on multiple menus in order for ticket sales to be correct. Hopefully, they can streamline the building of a series and make the backend UX a little easier to navigate.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

I like the variety of training videos & an online articles that I can read to find out more how to use the system. Whenever I forget how to do something, I can easily search a topic, and when I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, I like the ability to submit a case to customer support, who responds typically within business day. Everyone on their customer support team has been great to work with and they always seem to make sense of my question even though I don't always know what I'm trying to ask. AudienceView seems like a very robust system with a lot of options, but as a new venue, we haven't yet had a chance to explore or use everything.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

1) I wish packages could be copied. It is very time-consuming to create a package from scratch. 2) Allow the ease of using copy/paste in all areas instead of HTML. Some areas allow copy/paste; some is HTML only, which can be frustrating b/c formatting does not remain & it's difficult when you're not familiar with HTML. 3) Allow the option for phone call support (or a chat option) if needed for a quick question. It can be time-consuming to submit a case for something that would be relatively quick to resolve; a case prevents your work from moving forward quickly. 4) In some areas on the patron interface, there are too many "clicks" to get where you want. 5) There does not seem to be a way to be notified when the ticket scanner device login password is going to expire. After not being able to login to our scanners a few hours before an event and we needed to quickly reset passwords, we learned that the password expires around 3 months. 6) When navtigating in QuickSell+, sometimes when moving from one drop down menu to another, the price level changes. Probably just a sign that our ticketing agents are not that familiar with the system but it is frustrating nonetheless, esp. when you think you're charging a patrons one price level, then you click elsewhere, and back to adding seats/tickets to the cart to realize that you're charging them the incorrect price level.

I oversee Box Office operations, and AudienceView allow us to enter events & packages into our system so that we can make them available for purchase to the public.

Training our staff to use AVPro literally happened in minutes prior to our first day of use! There are some great simple reports to get to everything including the excellent "Snapshot."

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

There are some limitations in building packages/subscriptions and only being able to send one pre-show email was limiting.

One of the best solutions we've found is allowing individual producers access to their events for easy check-in that takes us out of the equation on a daily basis.

**What do you like best about AudienceView Professional?**

We like that ticket purchases, donors, and memberships are housed all in one place which gives the museum a deeper understanding of how often our patrons participate, donate, and renew. We also like that anyone who who works here can log into it from anywhere. We also find that the report functions are thorough and fairly easy to use.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

The online user interface is not as customizable as we would like and does not work easily on mobile devices.  We also find that Mac & iphone users tend to stuggle with it more than PC and android users.
the Quick Sale user experience is small and a bit antiquated. We wish that GA events showed the overall capacity and remaining number of tickets remaining for the event, not just a drop down list of number of tickets available. When it gets down to one left we get endless calls asking "Why can I buy only one?".  Online buyers don't get that it is because there is only one left.  We have a work around that is moderately successful, but we still get a lot of confused callers.  The venue map does not show up on mobile deivces unless you slide you finger around on the screen to find it.
In the sell window- when you go to add patron information it defaults to PA instead "unknown" . It means our reports look like a much higher percentage of visitors came from PA than is true.  The last thing is we wish each series or item had a drop down to add the GL code used by our finance office and could show in reports.  It would make bookeeping more efficient.  I was given directions to submit these items as function requests, but that process was too hard to follow.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have small events that happen throughout every day and sometimes have to change on the fly.  The ability to easily add, remove, and edit event times quickly and easily is a huge benefit.  Duplicate Records report is also helpful. We are working to reduce duplicates.  We have to report out on where visitors come from, age range, and race/ethinicity.  Between the online ticket sales, ease of building ticket types and checkout questions we are able to collect that and report out on it easily. The other benefit is seeing our memberships (we have them set up as flex packages tied to a donation campaign) but we can easily how many times a member has used their benefits.  We also like that we can see who is a recent donor on the check-in feature which gives our staff an opportunity to that people.

I love how easy AudienceView is to use. Selling tickets and tracking who's coming to any given show is  a breeze. Their instructional videos are also so well done and easy to follow. If there's something I don't know how to do, I'm confident I can find the answer with a quick search.

Not much. They are constantly improving. I'm impressed with the new features they've come out with just in the last year.

I love how straight forward the system is to use and how easy it is for customers to interact with it. The AudienceView customer service reps are knowledgable and very prompt in their responses, which is really helpful for quick troubleshooting or massive outages. It is easy for me to train others in how to use it. I have been using the system for close to 10 years and it's been the system I know best and rely on the most.

**What do you dislike about AudienceView Professional?**

There are some backend things I wish were smoother, most notably, toggling between different sections of the theater. The seat pricing tab is very smooth and doesn't require the entire browser to be reloaded, but that is not the same for seating holds and quicksell. 

More detailed patron history would be good too. For example, when a ticket is moved, I would love to see from which seat on which performance.

Another issue is for very popular shows, it would be nice to have in the "snapshot"  a dropdown section to see which seats are left for sale. Normally, the wheelchair seats are the last ones left for any "sold out" house, but I cannot sell that to the general public so it would be nice to see a specific breakdown in a easy way.

**What problems is AudienceView Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for Off Broadway theatre ticketing. I can't say it's "solving problems" per se. It is our main ticketing system and our theatre relies on it for our day-to-day ticketing necessities.

This is our first online acheduling and billing experience and it has been such an imorovement for us. It moved us to almost exclusively presale and speeds up the check in and seating process.

Hard to say, as we had a learning curve to complete so do not have a reference. It would be nice to more easily combine duplicate accounts, but that might require a sign in process that would be more effort for the patrons, and we do want to keep it simple. We periodically just try to compine duplicate accounts, just tedious.

scheduling and collections. Makes donations easier for patrons and the amount overall has gone up.

Every now and then, we would like to add a section of seats for overflow after the event has already gone live. Sometimes we are able to add a general admission section, sometimes we have to create new event for that purpose.
