The support from our customer success managers! They're also very open to product feedback and always looking to improve and support their clients' needs. Their SMS program is definitely best in the business!

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Sometimes hard to get support on weekends (unless it's an emergency, which it usually isn't. Email capabilities are growing fast but not yet on par with other ESPs I've used.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I really like the monthly cost of Attentive because it's financially motivated and suitable for my budget. I feel like it's more SMS-based, and that works best for my marketing efforts. I also use it integrated with Shopify, which is pretty convenient. For SMS marketing, I'd rate it a strong 10 because it's really effective.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Since it's SMS-first, the actual email marketing is sub-par and could be improved significantly. Honestly, the initial setup was quite hard.

Attentive handles the intake of clients for me in regards to marketing.

I like the ease of use when developing segments and using those segments and journeys with Attentive. That's a standout feature for me. The initial setup was very easy, which was great.

There are a couple small bugs that you get used to, such as not being able to navigate throughout the back end UI when you are chatting with the white glove support team on chat.

I use Attentive to give incentives to audiences not ready to purchase, converting them into community members and paying customers.

I really appreciate Attentive's white glove service for its clear communication, which helps in finding solutions to questions, whether they're related to the interface or customer-facing inquiries. I also like the easy-to-use interface, which makes it quick to create and schedule campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Journey flows can be a bit challenging to create. I think there could be better A/B testing and clearer results when segmenting out flows. Having historical data when making changes to flows would also be helpful.

I use Attentive for SMS marketing; it houses campaigns and journeys, aiding retention and conversions. The white glove service is clear in communication, making solutions easy to find. Its easy-to-use interface speeds up creating and scheduling campaigns.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I think the UX of the system is better than Klayvio. There's less noise and it's slightly more intuitive. I also find that designing an email on Attentive is easy to do.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I think making visual suggestions on the layout to maximize conversion or click-through rate would be a great added feature. There needs to be another view to see how the email looks with fallback fonts. I create emails with brand font in mind but usually, I get fallback fonts, and it looks very different. Also, ADA compliance suggestions or best practices would be good.

I use Attentive to send SMS and emails at work. It solves the email marketing aspect of the business.

Very easy and intuitive to use. I also appreciate the customer support that is offered - they always do a great job of fixing your issues or getting to the bottom of the issue.

I wish the integrations were more clear and easy to understand. It can be tricky to get what you want out of it. Additionally, I wish there was more customization and flexibility that you can do without having to go through their customer service agents.

I really appreciate how easily it integrates with other software. For instance, we're introducing quizzes to our website, and Attentive seamlessly integrates with that software, allowing us to create segments based on quiz answers for a more personalized campaign experience. These integrations save us a lot of time and effort. Also, setting it up was easy, and that's always a plus.

I like that the tech works and is stable. Additionally, having account managers to provide direction, roadmap, and support is very useful. When we meet, they basically walk us through a path to get us to an optimal place with the use of this tech, ensuring Attentive is a part of our overall marketing plan. The initial setup was very easy since we had a lot of the building blocks already available.

The user experience for the everyday email or SMS builder/sender is extremely intuitive and simple to navigate. The initial setup checklists and reporting are also very intuitive and easy to work through once you get going. The White Glove (concierge) team is phenomenal - helpful, friendly, and quick to provide support. I love that you can reach them via email, chat, or phone. The dedicated account strategists are also super helpful and provide great insights and tips to act on, and the legal/compliance teams are solid gold - I know I can trust them to keep us within the guardrails, no matter what country we're in. They also support a wide range of integrations and partnerships and continue to expand them. Overall, I really appreciate their level of hands-on support, expertise, and the user-friendly backend UI.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The email side of the platform is newer, so there are still some functional limitations in overall email builds and execution, and in how they integrate into multi-channel campaigns and journeys. However, they are addressing these challenges with new product releases every quarter.

Cost and the billing on characters. I think it could be improved by making it more obvious of SMS send usage per message sent.

I like the simplicity of using Attentive for text messaging for my jewelry brand. I feel the text messaging works better than email because more customers are viewing the text messages, resulting in sales.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I think it could be a little bit more transparent with the pricing. I would like to see how much each campaign costs before it's sent out, right in front of my face on the dashboard. I think that would help out a lot to know how much I'm spending.

I find Attentive offers a more efficient and effective way to communicate with my customers than email. More customers view the text messages, which results in sales.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

The customer support provided by Attentive is hands-down the #1 reason we stick with them. We have worked with several account reps over the years and every single one has provided excellent service, attention to detail, and reliability. Although they are not the cheapest or easiest tool out there, they are the most innovative and quick-to-market with new features (especially proprietary AI.)

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

A lot of power-user and enterprise features are available but not included in their UI, so we rely on their White Glove team for implementation. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely and interruption to the flow of a fast-moving team that prefers self-service.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive powers our SMS program and allows our lifecycle marketing team to reach more subscribers with a different experience during their journey.

Sometimes the tool feels a bit rigid. For example, I want my lightbox to show the mobile field first and then the email field, but they won’t let me make that adjustment.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I'm very impressed by the amount of support and quickness of that support. Any issues have been thoroughly addressed and additionally, we've been onboarding to a new crm and they've been able to bend over backwards just to make that possible. Their email + sms is extremely user friendly and easy to use. Their integration team was extremely helpful and easy to actually use on a day to day.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The only complaint on my end is attentive logs you out of your account every 10 minutes of inactivity then makes you log back in with your password and every 10 days they make you verify it with your sms. Their reports aren't as customizable as I would like, but I'll be digging into this more and more to see if that's just a me thing.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive is able to pair email and sms marketing together in an extremely user friendly way, most of my team isn't very experienced in any platform or software management but by far it's the best I've used between Klaviyo, Yotpo, etc.

Sometimes it can be challenging to set up journeys, but they have a great support team to help with any questions.  I wish there was a way to save width on email campaigns instead of it defaulting to auto width.

Attentive made it easier to see subject and preheader in email previews this year which was a huge help in identifying issues before a campaign is sent out.  Attentive is always looking into ways to futureproof the system and add AI features to stay ahead of the curve.

I appreciate Attentive's easy-to-use interface, which simplifies navigation compared to other tools like Bloomreach, Braze, and Klaviyo. This usability significantly reduces my workload and enables me to manage SMS and email campaigns more efficiently. I value the ability of Attentive to drive incremental revenue through better SMS and triggered campaign emails, alongside its capability to lower my ESP pricing significantly. The resourceful and responsive support team has been beneficial, as has the straightforward platform setup, which, despite the inherent complexity of email migrations, included replication of all our templates and journeys. The overall pricing structure and performance of Attentive have been superior to the other tools we previously used.

I find duplicating journeys in Attentive isn't intuitive. Although it is not a major issue since most of our journeys are unique, simplifying this process could enhance the overall experience.

I use Attentive to drive incremental revenue through enhanced SMS and email campaigns, lower my ESP pricing significantly, and reduce workload. The easy-to-use interface makes it simpler than competitors like Bloomreach, Braze, or Klaviyo.

The customer service and white glove approach are so helpful! Once I had an issue with an SMS while I was away from my computer and they were able to pause, fix, and re-send for me.

Sometimes the white glove approach also means there are things that I'd love to be able to do myself (like create a new sign-up unit with attribution selection- I tried to duplicate a desktop one I had created with their help for mobile but needed their help again to create it. However, it was easy and seamless to have them do it).

I think the overall functionality of Attentive is decent, allowing me to do everything I want to do for my eCommerce brand. It's also cheaper than Klaviyo, which is a big plus for us. The platform integrates with Shopify, making the initial setup pretty easy and straightforward, just as simple as Klaviyo.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Attentive is very slow and a bit glitchy, which is probably the biggest issue. Additionally, there are some weird things that feel a bit clunky. I also find that there are no native integrations with some platforms like Judge Me, which would be good to have.

Attentive has been a great platform for us, and one of the biggest strengths is how easy it is to use. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to build and manage campaigns without a steep learning curve. What really sets Attentive apart, though, is the quality of their customer service. From our customer success manager to the support staff, everyone has been quick to respond whenever we’ve needed help, and they go above and beyond to make sure our issues are resolved.

Our customer success manager, in particular, has been a fantastic resource. They’ve taken the time to understand our goals and have provided fresh insights into how we approach our SMS campaigns. By suggesting creative adjustments to both our audience targeting and messaging style, they’ve helped us unlock new opportunities and improve campaign performance. Overall, Attentive has been a valuable partner in helping us grow and refine our SMS marketing strategy.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

One challenge I’ve found with Attentive is that building segments can be a bit difficult. While the platform overall is easy to use, the segmentation process isn’t quite as intuitive and can take more time than expected, especially when trying to create more detailed or customized audiences.

Another area for improvement is the accessibility of their help and support resources. Unlike other software platforms where documentation and guides are easy to find and navigate, Attentive’s resources aren’t always as readily available. While their support team is responsive when you reach out, having more self-service tools and accessible resources would make it easier to quickly troubleshoot or learn new features on our own.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive is helping us better connect with our customers through SMS marketing. The platform makes it easy to reach people directly on their phones with personalized and timely messages, which has been a big boost to engagement. Our customer success manager has also helped us think differently about our campaigns, showing us new ways to segment audiences and adjust our messaging for stronger results.

Overall, Attentive has solved the challenge of building an effective SMS channel by giving us both the tools and the support to grow. It’s allowed us to improve campaign performance, reach the right audience with the right message, and ultimately drive more value from our marketing efforts.

I think Attentive stands out because it seems to be the industry standard. I also find the 'Flows' feature helpful as they are fairly easy to set up and run without needing to manage them constantly.

Segmenting is incredibly tricky and difficult. - I never get the results that I'm expecting. Would like to see more integrations (like Hubspot) and easier conversational texting between our customer service people and customers. Also, the results do not justify the high cost of Attentive. Would like to see transparent pricing and be able to view and manage pricing plans.
