**What do you like best about Attentive?**

It is user friendly, easy to navigate and building new emails off of my templates is helpful especially when delegating email strategy across different team members. We are a lean team and having something that is easy to use is helpful! 

Whenever we have run into an issue the support team has been really quick and easy to work with, getting new team members on the platform is seamless. 

In comparison to other softwares, we like the pricing of attentive and the SMS features.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

As easy as it is to use, as someone who doesn't have the most email management or CRM experience, there is a lot to see when you navigate through and sometimes I worry we aren't using all the features to our advantage.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us drive sales, awareness for new collections and collaborations and gives us a way to track our customers and it syncs with Shopify so we're able to easily segment out our list.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I find Attentive's platform simple to use, making sending SMS messages to our subscribers super easy and convenient. The ease of use extends to handling email tasks too, as I've occasionally had to cover for my coworker, and it was very simple to figure out. The Attentive team has been very helpful, always sharing different data and new opportunities with us, and they are willing to answer any questions we have. I appreciate having SMS and email on the same platform, and the initial setup was simple since we were already familiar with using SMS.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Send times for SMS could be improved without having to pay for send time AI. Occasionally we have deals that are only valid at a certain time, we are located in Utah. Quiet hours make it super complicated sometimes. It would be nice if we could have it send after a specific time has been passed and then wait to send for those in quiet hour areas.

Attentive provides an easy-to-use platform for sending SMS to subscribers, making it simple and convenient. The team is helpful, sharing data and opportunities, and it's easy to switch between SMS and email on the same platform.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I love that Attentive allows us to reach our customers right in their pockets on the phone and helps us create a brand voice that can communicate directly with clients. The push into AI has been a really cool thing to see and grow, and I can do a lot of great things with Attentive's tools and their use of AI. The AI tools allow me to dictate the tone and messaging around key sales and set it live, capturing a lot of engagement. This helps me use my time for other tasks in SMS and Email.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The UI is not my favorite aspect. It's not hard to use but it can feel blocky at times. I also feel like there are some logic choices for segments that feel like they are missing.

Attentive allows us to reach customers directly via SMS, helping us create a brand voice and engage clients effectively. The AI tools let me set the tone for sales messaging, capturing engagement and freeing up time for other tasks.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I like the ease of going back and forth between email and SMS on Attentive and how user-friendly it is on the backend. I particularly enjoy how easy it is to build a campaign using both email and SMS within the same campaign and toggle back and forth between the two. I appreciate how easy it is to segment between the two channels within the same campaign and use cross-channel touchpoints to reach customers. I was happy with the user interface from the SMS.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I wish reordering messages within a campaign were easier. For example, if I wanted to add another email earlier in a campaign after I had already written several other messages, I currently cannot due to the timeline. I wish I could drag and drop messages within the campaign timeline.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I like the interface the most about Attentive; it's very clear and easy to use. I especially like the AI-generated subject lines, which save me a lot of time. It's always clear how to build the exact email or SMS campaign I have in mind, and building segments is clear and easy too. The integrations with Facebook through Zapier and Shopify have been very easy. Also, the initial setup was very easy, as the Attentive team did a lot of the heavy lifting.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I wish the AI journeys and messaging could have guidelines, like what images to use or not use. Sometimes the AI journeys use an old image from my website that I wish I could update. Attentive is wrong a lot of the time on the location of my subscribers as it takes the IP address and connects the wrong state sometimes.

I use Attentive to connect with users in real-time when they take website actions. The interface is clear, building emails or SMS campaigns is easy, and AI-generated subject lines save time.

Working alongside our Customer Success Manager is an absolute pleasure. The team is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive, and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to help ensure our SMS Marketing program is successful. We also have clear, transparent conversations about product development and enhancements, including platform features as well as improvements that are specific to our program. They are a leader in the SMS industry and have provided great insight as it pertains to iOS26 privacy updates; leading to sustainable delivery and engagement rates. We also will begin using RCS Business Messaging thanks to the team's innovative updates.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Integration within various hospitality-industry booking engines would be a game changer for our company. Pulling data such as stay dates, room types, etc., will ensure a more personalized and relevant message to guests with hotel reservations.

I find Attentive really easy to use, and it's definitely an upgrade from our previous service. It makes communication with our customers a lot easier, ensuring they stay informed when we're launching products or sales, and even when things are back in stock. Attentive is also a great way for our customers to reach our customer service team if they encounter any issues with their orders or during the checkout experience. The initial setup was very easy too.

I wish that our users would stay logged in because every time I click into it, even if it's just five minutes after my last use, I have to put in my password and username again. It's just a little bit inconvenient.

I like that the campaigns on Attentive are easy to set up, which is great since I don't have any background in computer design or coding. The white glove customer service chat is fantastic, with staff that are very friendly and have good hours. I find them incredibly helpful as they explain things in detail and jump into the account to make changes for me. The initial setup was very easy too, with listwarming completed for us.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The customizable level of an order confirmation email isn't great. It can't pull order tags, so we can't separate emails between products for our customers. Some of our orders are pre-order only, large, or shipping at a later date, and we need more flexibility.

I use Attentive for email newsletters, SMS, and customer journeys. It helps capture customers with cart abandonment and facilitates marketing.

I like the ability to use AI when coming up with copy in messaging and how attentive gives suggestions for follow up messages when scheduling. I also really like that segmenting is quick and easy.

The most frustrating thing is having a character limit to be able to send only 1 SMS and how many characters emojis and MMS take up. Another thing is we all of a sudden didn't have a customer success manager and no one updated us. I loved our original success manager and would love her back but was told we don't meet a monthly threshold to have a manager.

I like that Attentive continues to develop their product in innovative ways that aren't yet seen in the marketplace. It keeps us at the forefront of personalizing our CRM messages to our customers. Additionally, the initial setup for SMS was fantastic, and for email, it was also good.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The focus is definitely Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which is peak for most retailers. However, at fun.com and halloweencostumes.com, our peak is earlier starting in August. So when they're doing major releases during that time, which is the cutoff for releases for other retailers, it can cause issues for us during our peak.

The platform integrates smoothly with our ecommerce stack, and the campaign performance reporting is clear enough to make optimisation decisions quickly. It’s also intuitive for day-to-day use, which allows marketing teams to move fast without heavy technical support.

A tad behind on technology. Love that AI is here, but I want to be able to walk through the audiences that I'm generating with the AI tool. I'm grateful that email autosave is rolling out because I can't tell you the amount of times I've lost my work because I get pulled into a report or a call and then get automatically signed out and lose everything which is hours of work. My account manager has signed me up to be part of the test group for the preference center, I just need to work with him to get this executed because right now we're wanting and needing more than preference dropdown with our lightboxes.

We are needing to improve our ROI on SMS and my account manager is holding a working session with me to identify areas where we can optimize segmentation and our audiences to focus on those who are most likely to purchase.

What I dislike about Attentive is that sometimes the reporting insights are limited, and deeper analysis requires extra effort. Also, some features feel restrictive when trying to customize campaigns more flexibly.

Attentive is easy to use, with a clean, intuitive interface that keeps day-to-day campaign management running smoothly. 

Ease of Implementation is straightforward, and integrations with e-commerce platforms are simple to set up without much friction. 

Customer support is responsive and genuinely helpful, especially during onboarding and when it comes to troubleshooting and resolving issues. 

Our frequency of use is daily for promotions, alerts, and other time-sensitive campaigns, and it consistently supports what we need. 

It offers a strong set of features for SMS marketing, automation, and segmentation, which covers most of our business needs. 

Overall, Ease of Integration process feels uncomplicated and makes it easy to connect seamlessly with our existing tools and workflows.

What I like best about Attentive is how intuitive and conversion-focused the platform is. The onboarding was straightforward, and once everything was set up, it was easy to build flows, segment audiences, and launch campaigns without needing heavy technical support.

I also appreciate how strong the SMS deliverability is and how well the automation performs, especially for abandoned carts and promotional pushes. The reporting is clear and actionable, which makes it easier to see what’s actually driving revenue and optimize from there.

Overall, it feels built for brands that care about performance, not just sending texts.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

One downside is that pricing can scale up quickly as your subscriber list grows, especially if you’re sending frequent campaigns. It’s powerful, but you definitely feel the investment as volume increases.

Attentive solves the challenge of turning traffic into measurable revenue through SMS in a way that feels organized and scalable. Before using it, text marketing felt manual and inconsistent. With Attentive, everything is structured, from list growth tools to automated flows like abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase follow-ups.

It’s helped us capture high-intent shoppers and bring them back at the right moment, which directly impacts conversions. The segmentation also allows us to send more relevant messages instead of blasting the entire list, so engagement stays healthy.

Overall, it’s benefiting us by driving incremental revenue while keeping communication streamlined and performance-driven rather than reactive.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

The platform is very user-friendly which is nice for smaller teams who may need to provide coverage for PTO– easy for my manager to jump in and make tweaks without too much instruction. There are some things you can't do as a basic user (like set up A/B tests), but White Glove support via platform chat has always been quick to respond. 
They do launch a lot of new features (mainly AI) so there's definitely upsell that happens once you enroll but I've never seen a new feature roll out without the ability for a free trial before locking in at a higher rate.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Would like to see a way to train their AI content suggestions in tailored brand voice the way you can on outside platforms, or with using best-performing past sends. As-is, the content suggestions are way too generic.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

The customer service is unmatched. My rep spent over an hour going through the weeds with me on journey-specific recommendations.. breaking down strategy, optimizing flows, and giving truly personalized guidance. I've never had a representative at any platform invest that kind of time and attention into helping me succeed. It didn't feel like a generic support call; it felt like having a strategic partner who genuinely cared about my results. That level of dedication makes a huge difference, especially when you're building out complex SMS programs.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

It's on the pricier side compared to other SMS platforms, but I recognize that you get what you pay for and Attentive consistently delivers best-in-class results. So the investment feels justified.
My two main gripes are around transparency. First, the reporting dashboard lumps in revenue that isn't directly attributable to SMS, which inflates the actual numbers and makes it harder to get an accurate read on true SMS performance. When I'm presenting results to leadership, I need to trust the data and right now I find myself having to dig deeper to separate what Attentive is actually driving versus what's being loosely attributed with "other revenue".

Second, I wish there was more proactive communication around upcoming features and new capabilities like RCS. I'd love to hear about what's on the roadmap before it launches rather than finding out after the fact. A little more transparency on the innovation side would go a long way in helping me plan ahead and get even more out of the platform.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were on Attentive for 2–3 years before switching to Klaviyo for SMS, and the drop in performance was immediate and significant. Klaviyo's SMS capabilities just weren't measuring up and getting proper support was like pulling teeth. We had to beg for a dedicated rep, and when we finally got one, they only wanted to focus on email. SMS felt like an afterthought.
Since returning to Attentive, the difference has been night and day. The biggest thing for us was finding a partner that's fully dedicated to SMS, not treating it as a bolt-on to an email platform. With Attentive, I know my rep is laser-focused on helping me build a stronger SMS program, and that level of specialized support makes all the difference.
We struggled with maintaining the SMS revenue we had built 2–3 years ago after the switch to Klaviyo. We're still less than a year into our return to Attentive, but I can already see us getting back on track to hitting those numbers thanks to the dedicated support, AI-powered tools, and a platform that's purpose-built for SMS.
More than anything, Attentive gives me the confidence to invest the time and attention into SMS that it deserves. When you have the right tools and the right partner behind you, the channel gets the focus it needs to actually perform.

We love how hands on the Attentive team is and how growth minded they are. Always wanting to to grow, the Attentive team is receptive to all of our feedback and continually dropping new product drops, which we love testing.

Our biggest struggles with Attentive has been that the platform is playing catch up in terms of the email functionality. My team has requested numerous product requests, which the Attentive team has already provided many new updates to address. But overall it’s the catching up to other email first platforms that is our biggest roadblocks when it comes to Attentive.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive is definitely solving the problems of reducing subscribers receiving the same messages via email and SMS by allowing us to create multi-media journeys, which ultimately improve the customer experience. Also Attentive is on the forefront of AI technology and how brands can use AI to improve customer experience, personalization, and much more.

We've been using Attentive for our SMS marketing efforts, and the results have been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we onboarded, the team at Attentive made the process seamless, offering hands-on support and expert guidance every step of the way. Setup was seamless and east, and once we decided to move forward with Attentive we were able to get started fast!

Now, having used this for years across multiple brands, the platform has gotten even easier to use and more accessible to have additional stakeholders in.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Cost and pricing can be a bit prohibitive as well as challenging with lack of transparency in rates. 

International hurdles are also challenging at times, but that may be a byproduct of legislation differences rather than Attentive policy

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to speak to our customer lists in a time sensitive and personal way. Before it there was a serious reliance on emails that were sent at one pre-determined time during the day that always came earlier to try and beat other's to the punch.

I honestly have nothing negative to say. Anything we’ve asked them to do even things they don’t normally offer, they’ve either been able to provide or have worked with us to find a solution, helping make our marketing goals and ideas a reality.

We’ve been using Attentive for a few years and the platform is a game-changer. I really appreciate that Attentive allows us to easily reach our customers where they most want to be reached. I value how easy it is to deploy SMS and MMS text messages to our customers. I love the functionality of being able to schedule multiple messages for a specific sale instead of individually scheduling them. The setup, despite being somewhat complicated for us initially, is generally very easy.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The only aspect of Attentive that is somewhat challenging is just some of their features are locked by default, and you have to reach out to customer service to get them to work for you. I understand that they kind of gate keep some of the items for safety or things like regulations, but in other ways, sometimes there's something you may want to be able to do that you can't simply because they just don't want you to be able to do that and have it locked.

The Attentive platform is so intuitive. The reporting capabilities are great, and it's incredibly easy to set up campaigns from start to finish. The White Glove customer support and chat service is incredible and so responsive; it's quick and easy to solve any issues whether technical or user error. Attentive is also always on the forefront of technological advances, making sure their clients are able to get their hands on the latest tools.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

It's difficult to obtain information about who the subscribers are within segments - the segments and customers within them are not easily downloadable, so you cannot use segment analysis for customer research like you can with some other ESPs.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive helps us identify and reach mobile-first customers, boosting engagement where it matters most. Unlike email, which is often ignored or spread across a customer's multiple inboxes, texts are seen quickly and are tied to a more reliable customer identity via phone numbers. The platform also saves us time with easy-to-use tools that let us quickly launch and optimize campaigns.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I really like Attentive for its flexibility with segmentation journeys and good white glove service for migrating and setting up everything seamlessly. The support is great, with someone always available to chat whenever I have issues or need help building new journeys. The automation features are very helpful, especially the smart sending and abandoned cart texts. As a marketer, I find the journey building easy to use, which is probably my favorite feature, and the reporting is really good. Setting up Attentive was super easy; they took care of everything, making the migration smooth.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I think the pricing is always gonna be an issue. Definitely with sending images, that's, like, super expensive, and I know that's just the rate. But we don't send them anymore because the ROI is pretty bad. And then I think on the reporting, if they included the cost of the text into the report so that you could see, like, how much you spent versus just the ROI, that would be helpful rather than having to build a custom report or two reports to review that.

Attentive provides flexibility with segmentation and automation for abandoned cart messages, enhancing customer engagement. The easy journey-building feature and reporting stand out, while integration with Shopify offers seamless communication. Initial setup was super easy as they handled our migration with great support.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Attentive is a deeply frustrating platform and I would warn any business owner to stay far away.
The integrations are severely lacking. There is no robust live chat integration, which is debilitating for any modern ecommerce or service business trying to run a unified customer communication stack. If conversational commerce is part of your strategy, this platform will hold you back.
You cannot update your own subscriber lists. Every list change has to be manually submitted to their team, which turns what should be a five second task into a painstaking back and forth process. For a platform charging premium rates, the lack of self service list management is inexcusable.
The pricing is misleading. The contract rate is not what you actually pay. Carrier fees, which Attentive does not advertise upfront, nearly double the real monthly cost. Budget for twice what their sales team quotes you, because that is what will actually hit your account.
The biggest warning: do not sign anything with Attentive without scrutinizing every clause. They buried a 12 month auto renewal into our contract. We believed we were month to month after the initial 12 month term. We were not. We are now locked in for another 8 months against our will, with no option to exit. This is the kind of contractual landmine that should disqualify a vendor entirely.
Lacking integrations, no self serve list management, deceptive pricing, and predatory auto renewal terms. Avoid.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I really like Attentive for its lead generation capabilities, which I think are number one. It's made a huge difference with our lead collection, boosting them significantly since we started using the platform. I also find Attentive to be a pretty easy platform to use, which is a bonus. The initial setup was incredibly easy, thanks to their white glove onboarding service, which is basically second to none. I would definitely do it again.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

It's getting better, but I think the email builder definitely had some kinks in the beginning. Another thing is, we have our minimum spend, and our business is very seasonal. The fact that email doesn't count towards that minimum spend is not ideal for us. I wish that was different.

Attentive solved my problem of low lead collection from web traffic by 10x. It makes lead generation seamless and boosts sales, paying for itself.

From the events that provided a chance to speak to real customers away from the sales angle, through the free trial and into the 2+ year-long collaboration we have had with the Attentive team, the support and results have been exactly what we were looking for. The tool is easy to use, and we have support from Attentive in building and executing campaigns when we are short of resources. Expanding into triggered email and the use of AI tools further improving results.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The only downside has been a few instances of dropped tracking, which have required tag enrichment to resolve and led to loss of tracking during down time. These have been infrequent and quickly resolved.

The only issue I’ve come across is that when a platform wasn’t running correctly, we weren’t informed. This caused some confusion until we were able to get in touch with support.

I love the way campaigns are set up on Attentive and how easy it is to set up templates and track performance. Segmentation is much easier than our previous platform, and I find the Journeys feature amazing for helping emails flow with minimal manual updating required. The ease of having specific product groupings shared via email, SMS, and MMS is also a big plus. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy with help from their team.

We've had some issues with products syncing when switching our website to Shopify, but their white glove team has been pretty good at helping us get them fixed so far. Because we started off with a different product sync, it has meant I have to manually add products to emails rather than using the product feed. It's been a couple of weeks and still waiting on a resolution to why product feeds are not syncing over.

I like that Attentive is flexible with their formatting for email designs, allowing me to keep everything branded with our proper fonts and colors. I appreciate being able to take screenshots and paste them into the templates Attentive provides. I am able to track everything from who opens the emails to sales and unsubscribes, which is really helpful to know how the platform is bringing in and keeping customers. I also find the platform easy to use, even though I'm still learning and don't have a background in this type of work.

I use Attentive for supplementing our email marketing campaigns and running standalone SMS marketing campaigns. I find the ease of 'journey' and campaign setup to be a major plus, as campaigns are extremely easy to build and implement. The analytics reporting is good as well. Spending less time on the initial setup or onboarding of a new platform is critical for a small business like ours, and the faster we can get everyone up to speed, the faster we start seeing ROI.

Initial setup with website integration can be a bit of a hassle. We have also seen recent pricing changes associated with carrier fees that are out of our control, and come without warning.

I really appreciate Attentive's enhanced white-glove team that supports us with any issues we have. I find the tool very friendly, with an intuitive design that makes setting up campaigns and flows easy. The AI feature is impressive as it helps create copywriting and subject lines by learning from our past successful campaigns and branding, customizing and learning our tone to support us better. I also like the simplicity of their segmentation feature. Another aspect I really like is their constant evolution, adding new features and solutions, especially their identification technology, which consistently brings a 30 to 40% lift in new subscribers when we activate it in any new client. The setup process was super easy since the Attentive team handles everything and provides an onboarding team to set everything up.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

For me, things that can be improved: they have several features that you need to go to their white glove team, which, I mean, even though the team is amazing and they do reply relatively fast, it would be ideal for us to be able to set them up on our own to streamline the processes. Deliverability right now is one of them; we don't have access to any deliverability information, aside from spam complaints or bounce rate. Having access to monitoring the deliverability, as you do in Klaviyo, would be great. One of the things that could be improved (that Klaviyo has) is that you can copy between accounts. We're an agency, so being able to share templates, logics from flows, or segmentation would be great. The segmentation tool itself is still a little bit slower. In general, the Attentive platform is slow. It takes a little bit more time to load, which makes the process lengthier than necessary.

I find that having both email and SMS in the same place with Attentive is helpful. The AI features, like coming up with different taglines, especially for SMS, where I can make it shorter and more urgent, are nice too. The onboarding process was great, and your team was really helpful with all the necessary tasks. At my last workplace, the customer service was amazing.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I'm having a lot of trouble with the tracking part of Attentive. It's not as easily integrated in terms of reporting and pixel tracking with our website. I have no visibility on how emails and SMS are performing in terms of actual numbers. The campaign reporting numbers are way overestimated compared to the actual numbers, which tells me that the tracking isn't done properly. Integration with different types of CMSs should be easier; it's a problem with less common CMSs like Umbraco. There are limitations with email templates, and there's not much I can do in terms of drag and drop. I think smaller accounts could also benefit from more direct guidance like monthly reporting walkthroughs that bigger accounts have. Initial setup wasn't easy, there were a lot of onboarding tasks. If dealing with a more complicated CMS than WordPress, Shopify, or BigCommerce, I wouldn't suggest using Attentive.

Attentive helps keep our engagement with the current donor base by enabling us to send SMS and emails effectively. Having both email and SMS in one place is helpful, but tracking and integration with CMSs like WordPress and Shopify needs improvement.

I like Attentive's minimalist design, which makes it easier to pinpoint whatever problem or solution I'm looking for since there aren't as many options on the screen. I also appreciate the responsiveness of the customer service team. It's easy for me to address any issues with them. I really like the premade email blocks, which make designing an email much easier. The white glove team also helped immensely with the transition.

Well, its strength in simplicity is also a weakness. Sometimes I want to just solve things myself and there might not be an option for me to do that on my end. Also, I wish there were more tutorials and templates to choose from. It's awesome for texting but the email is less robust.

The upsides of using of attentive is that the platform is super user friendly. The already pre-baked in suggestions for flows and automations is also really helpful. The amount of integrations make it easy to seamlessly have all of your data talking to each other across multiple platforms. In-platform reporting is robust and you can get most of what you're looking for directly within the platform, though as always, in-platform revenue is typically overstated but it depends on what each company is using as their source of truth for revenue reporting. The White Glove Support that attentive provides is always available and super helpful to answer any breadth of questions a user might have and the pricing is extremely fair for level of service. I haven't been as impressed with the AI / Intelligence features or the suggested AI copy but that's just my personal opinion probably, I'm sure it works well for others that don't have such a specific tone of voice they bring as a company towards customer communication style.

The only downsides of using attentive is that if your commerce platform is hosted on something other than Shopify. Currently a brand I've worked with was on BigCommerce and that certainly limited the flexibility I had in reference to event url triggers or using appropriate link tracking or product referencing but there are ways you can get around that.

Attentive is allowing us to meet consumers where they are at, directly on their mobile device now that we live and operate in such a mobile heavy world. The smart sending and quiet hour features are also super beneficial if you're trying to be cognizant of sending time for consumers.

I like how the client rep is very involved, helping me with many aspects and making sure I understand different tools. He's great at checking all my segmentation and offering suggestions along the way, which has helped me solve many issues. I find SMS really easy to set up and use. While email can be a bit tougher, having my rep assist makes it easier. I also appreciate that reporting is really easy to pull through filters, with clear visual options to select from.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Email templates that we want to create outside of Attentive for brand style are a bit difficult to implement due to html not correctly reading our code, or dimensions for rows not being clearly defined so that we can upload things row by row. I wish there was a way for us to create unique designs inside of Attentive rather than having to import anything. There was a big mix up with warming our contacts up, however if that issue hadn't happened, the transition would have been pretty easy.

I really like how user-friendly Attentive is. I've tried other softwares, and it usually takes me a couple of days to get familiar with them. However, with Attentive, it was a right-away experience. It's very intuitive, and you just know what to do and how to navigate the page without much hassle. It works great and rarely lags, and I've had a great experience with it so far. The Attentive team is very communicative, which adds to the overall great experience.

Sometimes when I add the information of an SMS I'm going to send, it glitches a bit. It detects as if two SMS are sending, so you do have to play around a bit with the spaces. Remove and add the text, like, twice or three times. But other than that, it works pretty smoothly, and it's not like a big thing that should need improvement.

We had issues with MMS performing correctly. I wish there was a way to audit that it was working correctly instead of me only finding out because I am in the SMS journey. For instance, the phone number was not automatically saving in the contact card so the contact card was not working. This was not working for days before I sent a test text to myself and discovered the issue. If there was an internal process to ensure things like the contact card feature were working, we wouldn't have been dark for those days.

I use Attentive for SMS marketing to notify subscribers about deals, drive urgency during sales, and promote offers. It helps drive traffic to our website, provides data on interactions, and shows which messaging works best.

I use Attentive for SMS and email campaigns. I find the platform user-friendly and easy to navigate, which I appreciate when building campaigns. The AI features are great for segmenting audiences, helping to figure out who to send campaigns to, and providing great recommendations. I love how it handles scheduling and manages smart times for sending. I also appreciate the ability to build flows to keep communicating with customers automatically, which helps in building relationships without having to manually schedule campaigns. The AI does a good job of filtering the audience, and the tagging feature is nice for reporting. Additionally, the White Glove team is very reliable and great to reach out to, making the platform quite useful even for those who may not be familiar with email and SMS.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

When I tried to build out campaigns in a folder for the month, all of them got scheduled at once when I wasn't ready. I had to go back and edit them to draft mode, which was frustrating. Also, there's a limitation of only using five tags on a product, which I think could be improved.

I would say I like the data I receive and ease of setting up campaigns and flows.

The lack of depth of in the data. It becomes pretty manual for me to understand why a test did well or even if I'm in an product trial. Sales/ Account Managers can't tell me anything in detail. That's great the product is increase my revenue, but what do the customers in this trial have in common that is leading to higher performance. I can't trust data that has no depth or reasoning.

Also, the events. There needs to be a wider depth to these that aren't transactional with better filters. The last time I used an Attentive event - It was targeting every and charging me $$$ - even though I had filters.

It's giving me another channel to help reach customers and providing a 180 approach to understanding our customer profiles/identity

I like the Attentive support the most. I've worked with Attentive for about five years now and have had multiple different CSMs. Every single time, I'm impressed by how hands on they are. Even after hours, the white glove team is very supportive and capable of taking action instead of just telling you what to do.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I think that there's a little bit of a lack of communication between Attentive and Klaviyo. Attentive doesn't pass enough or really any information over to Klaviyo aside from the sign-up units. I'd love to see all the metrics and SMS click information that Attentive can receive from Klaviyo but inside Klaviyo for Attentive. That's something that could be a little bit fixed.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Attentive to target customers and track their journey, improving engagement through SMS without needing explicit metrics from Shopify. It simplifies excluding customers by location due to legal requirements, making our program better.

The initial setup of Attentive was very easy as it guides you through each step.

It needs more native integrations and less reliance on 3rd party connectors like Zapier. We have to use it with Zapier because it doesn't have Google Ads integration.

I find the journeys UI to be hard to navigate at times. I wish you could review reporting right in the list view of journeys as well as within each standard journey with the ability to display data based on time filters. ie- data from last 30 days, last 90, custom. It is confusing at times too trying to edit within a standard journey.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive AI has been one of our Retention program's greatest wins over the last 14+ months. AI journeys enabled us to create personalized abandonment and welcome messages based on user intent, where that level of personalization would not have been possible manually. It has allowed us to focus efforts on other areas of our program.
