"Seamless Team Updates, No Meetings Needed"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I find Loom super easy to use, especially with it being available as a Google extension, which makes it just one click away. I really like that I can record face-on videos and screen recordings. The AI functions are excellent, trimming out any 'ums' and 'ahs', and letting me edit over words if needed. Having transcripts and the ability to timestamp different parts of the video are incredibly helpful. There are so many features and functions that I find really good. It's also connected to our Slack account, so I can see when people have watched, reacted to, or commented on videos, which really helps. Finally, the initial setup was very easy. What do you dislike about Loom?

We did have an issue previously with playback watching that I was recording it on. I think it was just really having a good Internet connection to solve that. Perhaps it was the Internet connection of the people watching the videos, but really, I'd say overall, it's a very small minor issue. And we're very happy with Loom. "Effortless Setup, Productivity Booster"
4/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I find Loom very effective for recording meetings and videos, which can be used for future references. The ability to transcribe videos is incredibly helpful. Setting up Loom was one of the simplest experiences I’ve had with a platform. It captures and manages knowledge effectively, allowing those who missed meetings to catch up quickly, thus increasing productivity. The easy video recording feature is the most helpful part for me. It allows to create a history of all the meeting that have taken place and can be referred back when required.

The ability of this platform to create spaces and with capacity to customize the privacy whether the workspace will be open or closed is really helpful. Other than this I love this platform as more information about who viewed the videos allowing targeting and reengaging easier. The ability of this platform to trim and stitch videos is also really helpful. The setting also allows more customization. After the merging of my loom and Atlassian profile the login process is easier and avoids toggling to different screens.

The integration capacity of this platform is also worth mentioning. The Atlassian Eco system makes this platform more stronger and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I would like Loom to improve a little bit more by adding some more features. Integration of platform can be made easier. I have also seen permission issue with many of the platform we try to integrate due to security concern of the individual platform. Solving this issue will also be very crucial in boosting the productivity of this platform. Other than this I wish that my old recording were still intake and easy to find after merging of my Atlassian profiles with loom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Video Recording with Lightweight Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I find Loom very useful and easy to use. It's straightforward without needing much learning effort. You can simply download Loom directly to your browser or use the extension if you prefer. The browser version is very useful because you can access more options on your website. It's lightweight, so it doesn't slow down my system, which is a good thing. I've also switched from using Wundershare to Loom because Loom is more reliable and easy to use. For the initial setup, it's very easy compared to other tools for video editing and recording, and you just need to download their extension or software on your PC or laptop. "Saves Time with Asynchronous Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I use Loom to save time by recording videos that I can easily share with others, making it perfect for discussing ideas or aligning with team members asynchronously. I value the core idea of recording and sharing these videos easily. The AI generation tool is amazing and allows me to create different types of documents, draft emails, or Slack messages from transcripts. I also appreciate the book creation feature, the ability to link to Jira, and making corrections directly from the transcript, which just makes a difference. "Atlassian acquired, increased price 80%, no new features to justify it"
0/5
What do you like best about Loom?

Once revolutionary, Loom now is a ubiquitous tool for async video sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Acquired by Atlassian, they have increased the price 80% with no change in features. Simply an email citing all the improvements they've made over the years as the reason, despite the fact that there were already new pricing tiers introduced for people that wanted the new features. I'm getting no new features but am still getting an 80% increase in price in an insulting mere 30 days. Clearly they're counting on the customer base being too entrenched with large video libraries. "An excellent tool for quick and clear communication."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

Loom is an exceptional tool for quick communication and screen sharing. It is very user-friendly, and the ability to record my screen and camera simultaneously makes explaining complex tasks or providing feedback incredibly easy and efficient for my academic projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

While Loom is great, the free version has some limitations regarding recording duration, which can be a bit restrictive for longer presentations. Additionally, I sometimes experience slight delays in video processing when the internet connection is not perfectly stable, but overall, it's a very reliable tool. "Effortless Video Recording and Sharing with Loom"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I use Loom for video meetings and recording my videos. I find it great for video recording, especially because recording in Zoom was complicated. With Loom, I can easily record through the extension and share public links. I love the public link-sharing feature; it's very handy. When you record a video screen recording, you can create a public link and share it, so anyone can view the video without the hindrance of exporting and uploading. The initial setup of Loom was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

The free plan is very limiting. The 5-minute recording limit is too short, and you can’t even blur sensitive information. Also, if you have a lot of recordings, finding older videos becomes a mess and the workspace gets pretty cluttered. The Mac desktop app also crashes a lot, so most people just end up using the Chrome extension anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Large recordings sometimes take time to process, and the free version feels limited if you use it regularly. Some useful features are locked behind paid plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Loom Makes SOP and Training Videos Effortless—AI Summaries, Titles, and Trimming"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

Loom makes SOP/training/information videos super easy to make with the browser extension and desktop app. I've come to use Loom so frequently that if my company stopped paying for it, I'd personally foot the bill. The AI features help with summaries and titles and can even help trim the video if you need something ultra-polished. For non-profits, there is a significant product discount that is very easy to apply for (providing you're a registered charity). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

The biggest challenge I find with Loom is the Atlassian portal side of things still doesn't feel fully integrated - it's clunky to manage my subscription and account and feels ultra complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
