I hate being in the middle of typing an email or document, or trying to browse code, and being forced to update some completely unrelated software. **What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a fast solution to record and share recordings. ### 4. Maybe set the limitations on quality but not recording duration. But for most cases 5 mins is more than enough that's why I don't think it's a dislike or a downside. **What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a place where my screen recordings are automatically saved for team sharing and with insanely accurate captions is the best benefit of using Loom. I only wish the auto captions are that accurate with other languages such as Arabic for example. Since I deal with teams in Canada, Bulgaria and Egypt, sometimes I make them videos in arabic and the auto captions is 0% accurate in this case. Didn't try the Ai feature on it though so I'm just referring to the auto-captions service that applies automatically on the videos. ### 19. I use Loom multiple times everyday, especially for taking screenshots and making screen-recordings of bugs in our app and product. The video recording feature is also very helpful for recording Google Meet calls with our vendors and external stakeholders, where we need to secretly record critical business conversations. **What do you dislike about Loom?** Loom often crashes on my laptop, especially when trying to record videos from the Web Extension. Moreover, every time I try to contact Loom's Customer Support team for help, there is no response from their end. There was a point where we planned to integrate Loom within our internal CRM app for easier tagging of recodings with customer complains but due to the hassles of implementation and the extensive training required for our support team, we decided to scrap the project. **What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I daily need to find out bugs in the product and also highlight possible scope of improvement in the product-marketing funnel. After the recording ends sometimes it gets stuck in that page and the recording doesn't get uploaded. As soon as my 12 months were up I cancelled the service and won't be using them again. I know this is not their main use case, however it would be great to have more features that go in that direction.
