Asure's payroll reports can be confusing to read at first glance. However, the reports are organized and contain all pertinent information. The issue is purely aesthetic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing I like about this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Every time we get a new payroll representative, I stop receiving automatic payroll imports for my accounting software. I bring this up to Asure every time, but they act like it is not their fault and claim it has nothing to do with their side of the exchange. One time I never even received the payroll file after hassling Asure for weeks. I manually entered a 100+ line journal entry in my accounting software because of Asure's inability to solve problems.
2. Asure's employees promise you they will follow up or solve a problem within X number of days, but then you never hear from them after even a week unless you hassle them again.
3. My company originally paid for ERTC filing with Asure for Q4 2020 and Q1 2021. I repeatedly asked for proof these returns were actually filed (a tracking number if they were mailed, or e-file certification if the returns were sent electronically) per the request of my company's owner. I was repeatedly told for well over a month that the tax department is working on it. It should be a simple request to provide proof of e-filing with the IRS (I get these immediately from our CPA’s). Finally, Jada told me that because these returns were sent USPS there was no tracking number for me to prove they had even been delivered, and I would have to call the IRS directly to confirm if the return was received. That is an unacceptable way to file a paper return with the IRS (the IRS explicitly states paper mailed returns must be sent with a tracking number as proof of filing). After I kept pressing Jada about how unacceptable this was, it turned out to be completely false. She had no idea what she was talking about. I knew that you could get tracking numbers with USPS, as this is how I file the paper returns I file for our business. Then miraculously, after telling me there was no tracking number and that this was impossible, Asure managed to find the tracking numbers.
4. When I asked to begin filing the ERTC for Q2 2021, Jada seemed to think I wanted to amend one of the prior returns. I am not sure how she would have reached that conclusion. Calendar dates mean something, and filing a return for April through June has nothing to do with amending the prior returns. I should not be surprised that Asure's employees do not even know how to read a calendar.
5. I received a request from Asure to provide testimony about my experience filing the ERTC through Asure. After I provided negative feedback along the lines of points 2 and three above, I was told by Ashli that I should expect a response from a 'customer service leader' soon, if not the same day. Close to three weeks went by with no contact from anyone else at Asure regarding my complaint. I emailed Ashli again to reiterate that the lack of follow-ups of this nature is precisely the reason why I have issues with Asure. That was almost a week ago, and still no response from Ashli or anyone else regarding my complaint. In short, Asure cannot even be trusted to resolve the matter when they tell you they will contact you about a complaint.
In short, the two years I have been using Asure has been nothing but a nightmare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of tracking deductions and paystub history. Tracking who made what information within the program and when was very helpful. Overall Asure is super user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked very little about Asure itself. It's integration with payroll services was not ideal. There were also internal issues with calculating and deducting the correct amount of taxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My customer service contact; tax help from the office we use is great; always willing to research an issue. We use AdvancedHR, Evolution and Asure Time and Attendance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Just about all of the functionality of all the products we use - lack of APIs, data incrrectly flowing from one product to the next, lack of custom reporting, no manager self service, no transferring of employees from one company to another, can't correct data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
