What do you like best about Asure?

What do you dislike about Asure?

1. Every time we get a new payroll representative, I stop receiving automatic payroll imports for my accounting software. I bring this up to Asure every time, but they act like it is not their fault and claim it has nothing to do with their side of the exchange. One time I never even received the payroll file after hassling Asure for weeks. I manually entered a 100+ line journal entry in my accounting software because of Asure's inability to solve problems.

2. Asure's employees promise you they will follow up or solve a problem within X number of days, but then you never hear from them after even a week unless you hassle them again.

3. My company originally paid for ERTC filing with Asure for Q4 2020 and Q1 2021. I repeatedly asked for proof these returns were actually filed (a tracking number if they were mailed, or e-file certification if the returns were sent electronically) per the request of my company's owner. I was repeatedly told for well over a month that the tax department is working on it. It should be a simple request to provide proof of e-filing with the IRS (I get these immediately from our CPA’s). Finally, Jada told me that because these returns were sent USPS there was no tracking number for me to prove they had even been delivered, and I would have to call the IRS directly to confirm if the return was received. That is an unacceptable way to file a paper return with the IRS (the IRS explicitly states paper mailed returns must be sent with a tracking number as proof of filing). After I kept pressing Jada about how unacceptable this was, it turned out to be completely false. She had no idea what she was talking about. I knew that you could get tracking numbers with USPS, as this is how I file the paper returns I file for our business. Then miraculously, after telling me there was no tracking number and that this was impossible, Asure managed to find the tracking numbers.

4. When I asked to begin filing the ERTC for Q2 2021, Jada seemed to think I wanted to amend one of the prior returns. I am not sure how she would have reached that conclusion. Calendar dates mean something, and filing a return for April through June has nothing to do with amending the prior returns. I should not be surprised that Asure's employees do not even know how to read a calendar.

5. I received a request from Asure to provide testimony about my experience filing the ERTC through Asure. After I provided negative feedback along the lines of points 2 and three above, I was told by Ashli that I should expect a response from a 'customer service leader' soon, if not the same day. Close to three weeks went by with no contact from anyone else at Asure regarding my complaint. I emailed Ashli again to reiterate that the lack of follow-ups of this nature is precisely the reason why I have issues with Asure. That was almost a week ago, and still no response from Ashli or anyone else regarding my complaint. In short, Asure cannot even be trusted to resolve the matter when they tell you they will contact you about a complaint.

In short, the two years I have been using Asure has been nothing but a nightmare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Asure:

Stay away, Asure is not worth the time or money to assist with your payroll. They will completely mess it up. Contract literally any other payroll company, it is impossible for any other company to be worse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Asure?

Kari and Jen in Support are the best. When we need additional training, they are always very thorough and informative. They have also been very easy to work with when we find errors in the system Asure deems worthy of fixing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asure?

In ability to respond to critical support tickets. By respond, I don't necessarily mean fix. I want updates on the status of the ticket and whether there is any intention to fix the broken pieces. Four years is an insane amount of time to have an open ticket. TLM support is terrible. Most of the time we get bounced between TLM and Evolution support, with both of them blaming the other and neither of them solving the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asure isn't solving any problems for me. In fact, they're creating problems for me. I can't track TOA in TLM because it doesn't have a usage cap so it's not compliant with California and Oregon sick laws. I have to manually calculate Washington non-consumer debt garnishments writs and all Oregon creditor garnishments because Evolution doesn't have the functionality to properly calculate the minimum exemption. What do you like best about Asure?

I use HireClick, and I'd say the best part about it is the customer support. Anytime I have a question, my dedicated representative will implement it for me. The UI is a little clunky but it is effective for the hiring process. I like that there are multiple statuses you can rank candidates by, which is helpful for marking your favorites at different stages of the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asure?

When I added both application and resume options to my job form, the resume upload did not work. However the customer service representative was able to get it to work from his end. Maybe it's just a bug with the client side. Also, I wish there was a way to bulk send rejection emails while excluding the people you've already emailed without manually having to tick them off. What do you like best about Asure?

HireClick is an easy-to-use platform that streamlines job postings by aggregating them across popular job sites. I’ve received a similar quality and quantity of resumes as I did with previous methods, but at a fraction of the cost. It’s an incredible value—our job posting expenses have decreased by 80% while maintaining strong applicant flow. What do you like best about Asure?

The way they are always willing to help. They repsond timely to all emails. They don't talk down to me but they help me understand it completely. The program is easy to use to the point it seems to be dumbed down. Our payroll is bi -weekly and it is always ready when I am to enter my payroll. What do you like best about Asure?

I like the fact that I talk to a person instead of a machine which has been the case with other payroll companies. I appreciate the way that they listen to my problem and then reword it to me. It helps me to see that they understand my problem correctly. And, even if my representative is busy, there is always someone there to help me. The process of swapping over to the assure system was easy. Our representative entered all of our employees for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asure?

I know tha it is a safety issue. But, I don't enjoy the fact that the new update to the system keeps me from seeing the account number on the direct deposits we enter. Working in trucking, I have drivers who move their banking institutions frequently. So, I need to know what account is attached more easily than having to call in. What do you like best about Asure?

What do you dislike about Asure?

I dont like how the transfer to asure was not smooth like promised (supposedly copying everything over directly but we had to manually enter a lot of things and change things that were entered incorrectly by asure) I dont like how every time I have an issue and I reach out to our rep she never even comprehends my questions and it takes months to resolve issues with no updates along the way and snarky comments by our rep when she is the one who never even understands what is being asked of her even though I have explained in full detail. Our rep also does not look at all attachments sent to her and then treats me like I dont understand all the documents required when the information has been there the entire time she just refuses to take in all information before sending a response. What do you like best about Asure?

Sometimes the people you work with are great, quick and effecient some are not. We like the webclock for payroll, that works great for the employees. The ability to look up your past payroll on their site is a nice feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Asure?

Nothing works. The two step verification waiting time is too long. I provide very poor service to my employees because all I do is sit and wait like a moron waiting on a super slow product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asure?

Everything. I receive no assistance. I leave message after message regarding assistance and I rarely receive or never receive a response. For example, I requested a copy of an employees application summary for over two months now and I receive no assistance, only that they can view it and I cannot. So I asked for a copy......crickets.

However, my co-worker receives responses in five minutes. I receive no assistance.,or I receive a screenshot picture and am left to figure things out by myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
