Astronomer's UI is super intuitive and makes it easier to have multiple separate workspaces and Airflow deployments. This way, each team can have its own Airflow in a few minutes.
Astronomer also has an integrated cloud IDE and the Astro CLI, which increases a lot the development speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be very expensive and smaller companies may not have the budget to afford it. The self-hosted solution can easily increase your AWS monthly bill by USD 1.000,00 with just a few DAGs running. The plan entirely hosted by Astronomer looks like a black box where you don't have much visibility about what is being charged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to integrate and supports mutiple envs. I like the UI and Overall status per deployment is use full. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think lot of my collegues faced issues on local setup to test the dev env coz varios mac versions. Also if we can configure diff deployment with diff colours it will be useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the UI and that is able to give me a summary of what is happening in each of my airflow environments. I also like the documentation that gives a lot of examples of how to do stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see more detailed documentation as well as some best practices regarding testing, me and my team find it very easy to use the astronomer environment and write DAGs in Airflow but we struggle to write tests... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to schedule workflows and error notification. Quick identification and manintance on workflow error fix. Advantage on auto refresing. Job scheluding makes clear track on flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Havent see any dislike yet. So far am having positive feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Astro CLI is definitely the thing I find the most useful. It enables you to get started with Airflow in a very simple manner without having to go through the complicated setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the fact that the cost model has you try to run as few tasks as possible since the pricing is done task based... This means that you have to go against best practices if you don't want to run out of tasks sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes away the complexity of setting up and managing DAGs from an user's view. Its easy to understand the flow through the graph and grid even for Non-tech users and catching up the failures is so easy with the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing siginificant at this point but local setup relies on docker which could be a hassle for few users as docker is restricting Its free usage for commercial purposes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
