The systems are there but they haven't always been analysed from an end user perspective - it's 80% of the way there but some small tweaks would make it so much easier. Dealing with Form results and statuses is clumsy and slow - you have to deal with each result individually even if they all relate to the same thing. Adding documents to attach to forms feels clunky. Not being able to apply figures to resources means costing needs to be done on excel although all of the info is already in Assignar. **What problems is Assignar solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work in Fleet management - having pre-starts linked directly to the asset through assignar is the best feature in my area. **Official Response from Laurie Lowe:** > Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We were one of the first to use Assignar, 2019 from memory. One of the best aspects have been to have all information in one place, updated HS certificates, client rate cards. However thats from a senior administrator perspective. For the team it has been intelligent scheduling that is integrated to real reporting. Whether it be asset utilisation, productivity, amount of down time. We are able to build extensive CRM type records with the journal and document features within client cards. We are not resistant to moving platforms, each year we compare with other products, Assignar continues to win hands down for cost effectiveness and a simple user friendly work space that everyone on the team can grasp. From Supervisors to Executives **What do you dislike about Assignar?** Assignar did not make our other platforms as easy to use! We have persisted with clunky fleet tracking Aps as thats all the market offers. After Assignar our tolerance for clutter and restrictions and a lack of intuitive logic has withered! Meaning, we would love to integrate Assignar more with other Apps, but due to other things taking time to keep up we are using Assignar in a silo. **What problems is Assignar solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have had extensive support with Insights. The support team have persisted with challenges we have set out. That benefits me as I am able to generate reports that I have been able to imagine, then see evolve. Not many things get taken to production. Inspections are set up to show that a hazard was found and then it was able to be resolved with photos or evidence in a given time frame. The current process is just to override what was wrong and make it right. That is not good for ISO audits to show hazards are being identified and managed. Thats my biggest dislike. This covers many area within HSEQ related items that require further action. **What problems is Assignar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Coding - i have never done coding and to use our forms we need to use coding from Assignar - so that is tricky but they do help us with that so it works. The onboarding side of things is also great, as it lets us add all documents in one place and keep track of everything easily. **What do you dislike about Assignar?** I wish Assignar were more workshop-friendly and offered a few more asset management options. I also think it would be beneficial to have a defects flag available when trying to allocate machines. **Recommendations to others considering Assignar:** To improve Assignar, consider enhancing workshop compatibility and expanding asset management features. Introducing a defects flag for machine allocation could also be beneficial. **What problems is Assignar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Assignar helps me keep track of servicing and machine repairs. When this used to be on paper, it would take hours to go through and sort everything out. We also have to set up each person's account and filters etc. individually, it would be helpful if we could copy the access and parameters of another user when setting up a new one. **What problems is Assignar solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to more easily see the current and future schedule for jobs and crew as well as company equipment. Our crew are able to enter and track time for jobs with supervisors approval, and we can view change logs on time entry. The consistent development and improvement of core features. The ease of use and setup of the system is great. We use Assignar every single throughout multiple departments. **What do you dislike about Assignar?** Some good historical features have not carried over to updated ways of working and people who continue to use older systems within Assignar, because a change to the newer ways would mean loss of productivity, are missing out off all the new developments and improvements of the new versions. In comparison, the cost is also a factor. **What problems is Assignar solving and how is that benefiting you?** no more paper forms which are easily lost, electronic timesheets, easy and logical storage of licenses etc with reminder option when it comes to renewal, scheduling with all info supplied to fieldworkers mobile. ### 16. We looked for a time tracking software for years and never found anything that complimented our workflows. We found Assignar and they were able to meet almost all our needs right out of the box. They also have an API we utilize with our ERP, Vista. So, when we load a new employee, equipment, or project, Assignar automatically updates. While their API documentation is great, they will of course not write your API code for you, so if you don't know how to- like we did. You may have to hire a third party to build your side of the API (well worth it). Insights, their reporting section, offers incredible data visibility and some truly smart reports if you take the time to learn it. The app is also very nice looking and makes logical sense on how time is entered and tracked. The app works better than most we've tried. **What do you dislike about Assignar?** Sometimes, the support can be too slow to take care of pressing issues. While Insights gives you truly next-level visibility on your data, it is a software to learn in itself. If you have the time to learn it, it is amazing but can be very daunting at first. The forms not being able to pull in all available resources (like materials, phases, etc.) and having no custom calculation fields has really hindered us in replacing our current time tracking software completely. So, we really haven't saved any money by using Assignar yet. However, the product team and engineering listen to their customers and have already added other features we've requested (in a very short turnaround time) so I have high hopes for this.
