What do you like best about Assembly?

As an employee at DealerON, I've had the pleasure of using Assembly to recognize and be recognized by my peers, and I have to say it’s been an amazing experience! Assembly makes employee recognition seamless, effective, and fun. The platform allows us to share recognition points with coworkers for a job well done, which can then be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including gift cards.

What I appreciate most is how easy it is to use—whether it’s a quick shout-out for a small accomplishment or a larger recognition for a major achievement, Assembly makes it simple to show appreciation. The rewards system is also a fantastic touch; not only does it boost morale, but it provides an extra incentive for doing great work.

In a company like DealerON, where collaboration and teamwork are crucial, Assembly helps foster a positive culture and keeps everyone motivated. It’s a powerful tool for making sure great work doesn’t go unnoticed. Highly recommend it to any team looking to build a culture of recognition and reward! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I love that it gets the team across departments engaged with each other. It's been so great for boosting camaraderie. We often appreciate others and their hard work, but we rarely quantify or demonstrate that appreciation. It's easy to use for all team members, and we had a lot of interest right from the get-go! It was easily integrated into my routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I don't think there are any downsides to using Assembly! You get out what you put in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I found that it helps us share the appreciation for teammates across different departments rather than keeping us siloed. I love that they are adding new features, and we get to implement them to increase engagement! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I would be lying if I didn't mention the rewards/recognition feature as my #1. I love being able to monetarily reward my friends/colleagues for random things at work (I also really enjoy the recognition myself)!! I will also mention the surveys are extremely easy to use, and very useful for HR-related things Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I don't know if this is assembly or my company specifically, but when they post new surveys or anything of the sort, it would be nice if they popped up at the top of the left side bar so I knew right away what was newer, and it was more easily accessible.

I guess I want MORE ease of access, like, make it stupid obvious, like I was a child. :') Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

You know, Assembly’s been pretty great at work. It’s super easy to give a shout-out when someone helps you out or does something awesome. It feels like we’re all more connected, like a real team. And the whole thing where you earn coins that you can swap for gift cards? That’s a nice little perk—makes saying “thanks” even more fun. Plus, it fits right in with the other stuff we use at work, so it’s not a hassle at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

The gift card options could be better, not everyone finds something they like. Also it’d be nice if there was a way to send a private note. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Honestly, before we started using Assembly, it was kinda tricky to let coworkers know they were doing a great job. You might appreciate someone’s help or admire their work, but there wasn’t an easy way to share that. Assembly fixes that by making it super simple to give recognition and that’s amazing! It helps break the ice and gets everyone communicating more openly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I especially appreciate how Assembly streamlines peer recognition and creates a transparent, engaging platform for celebrating team achievements. The social features make it incredibly satisfying to publicly acknowledge colleagues' contributions and see others' reactions. This creates a positive feedback loop where recognition becomes a natural part of our work culture.

Another major benefit is how Assembly helps quantify and track recognition through points and rewards, making it easier for both managers and peers to understand who's making meaningful impacts. The platform also makes it simple to tie recognition to company values and specific achievements, which helps reinforce our organizational culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I honestly don't have any downsides. Maybe allow the use of multiple gifs instead of just one? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Assembly directly addresses the challenge of making employee recognition more consistent, visible, and meaningful in our workplace. Without a dedicated recognition platform, great work often goes unnoticed or acknowledgments happen privately, missing the chance to amplify positive contributions across the team.

For me personally, Assembly is benefiting me by:

Making it effortless to give timely recognition when I notice colleagues doing great work, rather than waiting for formal review cycles

Providing visibility into how my own contributions are valued by teammates, which helps validate my impact

Creating a more encouraging work environment where everyone's achievements are celebrated regularly, improving overall team morale

Helping me better understand what my colleagues are working on and their successes, which strengthens our team connections

The structured approach to recognition through Assembly is transforming what could be occasional "thank yous" into meaningful, documented appreciation that benefits both the giver and receiver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

There is lot of Integration tools available like MS Teams, Slack,WorkDay, Jira for soomth integration and implementation. But, sometimes it might require extra guidance and support for new users atleast.

Assembly has good customer support and FAQs pages available for better understanding and frequency of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

First and foremost, Employee Recognition platfom. It is the most useful platform among all features. Nowadays, in our busy life, we forget to appreciate the people, collegues and friends with whom we are working whole day and night. It gives you the platform to do that every time and every day. Then, comes the Reward part (exciting part). The points we are collecting, can be tranformed into gift cards/ coupons/buy any important goodies or do charity work through their platform. Then comes the engineering part, it has lot of integration tools related to buiness needs, which can easily integrated. This makes our office life easier. They can performance review tracking and analytics system, which helps in performance reviewing our reportees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Assembly website has been an incredibly valuable tool for me as a manager. It provides an easy and meaningful way to give tangible recognition to my team members, showing appreciation for their hard work and dedication. One feature I especially appreciate is the reminder emails—it helps me stay consistent in acknowledging my team's efforts, even during busy times. Depending on the user experience, some aspects of the site may feel less intuitive, as I have heard from employees that they do not understand how to redeem Assembly points, though I have explained the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Assembly makes it easy and quick for managers to recognize their team’s efforts, even during hectic work periods. It bridges the gap between verbal recognition and meaningful rewards, giving employees something they can appreciate tangibly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I love how Assembly allows anyone from admin to entry level employees to recognize a co-worker for their hard work, extra help, etc. I also love that we can celebrate each other's milestones, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Our company has locations in 4 states, so we don't see each other face-to-face very often. Assembly allows us to connect with each other in a centralized platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I can't think of any downsides to Assembly. It is what you make of it - those employees who participate tend to enjoy it and appreciate the connectedness it provides. Those who don't can't understand why it's such a great addition to our company's culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Assembly is helping us solve the issue of having employees all over the place, in 4 different states, some working from home. It keeps us connected and helps remind us that we're all working toward the same goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

Assembly has helped Genscript improve our employee recognition greatly. We are seeing a great participation and I personally love using my points each month to recognize my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

There is not much to dislike about Assembly- there is a great amount of rewards to redeem and the functionality is easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to implementing Assembly, we had to manually send out employee recognition letters and gift cards via E-mail and it was a big, time consuming task that we did at least twice per month. Now, colleagues can recognize employees at any time which allows for a seamless and easy program! We've also been using it to improve our employee engagement so I like that Assembly essentially acts as a social media platform where employees can share pictures and gifs and whatever is on their mind. We've used it for a Halloween Costume Contest and hope to soon have an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest so it will certainly help to engage our employees more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
