We have been able to streamline the number of SSID's that are used in our district from about 7 down to 3 main networks for staff and students, IoT and guests. We have been able to secure our network access with better policies and controls than we could when we were just utilizing the contollers for our wireless network. Not only were we able to better secure and streamline our wireless network but with ClearPass we are now working on tying our wired network into the NAC so that we can secure it with the same level of security by utilizing MAC auth on our wired network with multiple Vlans. **What do you dislike about HPE Aruba Networking SSE?** Cost was the biggest reason it took our school system so long to implement NAC. One of these is integration with AD and authorizing users according to various security groups. Also, wireless network management with ClearPass is very easy and very successful. There are 3 wireless networks (BYOD, Guest and Company network) in our company. We can easily determine the policies of these SSIDs with ClearPass. **What do you dislike about HPE Aruba Networking SSE?** With ClearPass, you can do everything comfortably. However, it is very complex and it is really difficult for the unaware. Everything is done with a hierarchy in the product. By preventing non-corporate domain devices from accessing the wired and wireless corporate network with dot1x (using the RADIUS feature), we closed a significant security vulnerability. These are CPPM, On Guard, and Guest. The best CPPM in my opinion. Here, we can provide security in wired and wireless networks by determining policies in a hierarchical structure. It is very difficult to creating and use policies without prior training. In addition, I think the documentation containing information about the product is very poor.
