**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

here are a couple things I really like about it, especially the dashboard. It’s laid out well and makes it easy to see everything at a glance without digging through menus. The other big plus for me is that it allows unlimited locations. For anyone dealing with multiple job sites, this is a huge benefit and keeps things simple as projects change. There are alot of features to try out!

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

One of the biggest downsides for me is the report generation. It feels limited and a bit clunky, and it takes longer than it should to pull the information I’m looking for. Sometimes I end up exporting things and sorting them myself because the built-in reports don’t give me the layout or detail I need.

Field notes are another weak spot. They’re not very flexible, and the way they’re set up makes it harder for workers to enter clean, consistent information. It would be great if there were more options for formatting, attaching photos, or organizing notes by project. Right now it just feels basic and not fully thought out.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Arcoro has been solving a lot of our time-tracking problems as a company. It makes it way easier to track hours between different jobs, which has always been a bit of a headache for us. The system keeps everything organized and consistent, and it’s helped cut down on mistakes and back-and-forth when we’re sorting out job allocations. Overall, it’s been a big improvement for how we manage time in the field and in the office.

**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

My company uses Exaktime for accurate employee time reporting per job, and the report feature makes it incredibly easy to calculate our labor expenses and determine how much money each job earned. For even more in-depth reporting, we've been able to work with the Advanced Analytics team to create custom reports that will save us roughly three hours of labor per week.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

There have been very few downsides honestly, and those have primarily come from user error. It can be difficult to get a shop full of employees to all use the time clock correctly every time.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software is accurately tracking the hours of all our hourly staff down to the minute, which helps us not only keep track of job costs but also to review attendance to enforce our attendance policy.

It would be nice if the JOB could be broken down into job, phase, cost code and cost class so that integrating into Foundation is seamless and we would not have to enter so many jobs.

What I like best about Arcoro is how much time it saves us. HR can get overwhelming with so many moving parts, but Arcoro really simplifies things. I love that everything from onboarding to compliance is in one place, and it’s actually easy to use. It’s helped us stay organized without feeling buried in spreadsheets or emails. Honestly, it’s just made life a lot easier for our team.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

Nothing as suchHonestly, there’s nothing major I dislike about Arcoro. If I had to point out something, I’d say there are a few small areas where the platform could feel a bit more modern or intuitive. Some features take a bit of digging to find, and there are occasional moments where things load a bit slower than expected. But overall, it’s been a smooth and helpful experience nothing that’s been a dealbreaker so far.

Arcoro has really helped us streamline and simplify our HR processes. Before, we were juggling multiple tools and spreadsheets just to manage onboarding, compliance, and employee records—which led to a lot of manual work and room for error. Now, everything is centralized and much easier to manage. It’s saved us time, reduced stress, and made it easier to stay on top of deadlines and documentation. It’s also been a big help for keeping things organized as our team grows.

What stands out the most is how much Arcoro simplifies complex HR tasks. The onboarding module is especially helpful—it’s easy to use, and new hires can complete everything online without needing constant follow-ups. The platform is also great at helping us stay compliant with things like EEO and ACA requirements. Having everything in one place—documents, time tracking, benefits—makes our HR team’s job a lot smoother.

Syncing data between modules or with payroll systems occasionally takes more effort than expected.

Support Central, Office Hours and many members of their support team are very knowledgeable and responsive. Office Hours are great!

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

Core HR and the LMS/Performance do not interface as well as it could. Also, Advanced Analytics is challenging and frustrating.

It looks like they are working on improving their interface, but the process involving the Onboarding New Hire Link followed by Account Verification is quite confusing for users. Having a single login would make things much simpler!

Never had the chance to use the software.  Will explain in full review.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

I signed up for Exaktime because Sage100 Contractor's time keeping app wasn't working on Android.  The next day after signing the contract, Sage released their update.  Exaktime had not provided any services, or even contacted me in any way for implementation of services, but when I asked to be refunded they refused even a partial refund.  

I realize I signed a contract, but if you don't provide any services, and your client no longer needs your services, you don't charge them $2k.  I would *never* do that to a client.  If I ever need timekeeping service in the future, I will now never consider them.  If they had given me a refund I would definitely have considered them, as they would have proven to me that they are a partner, acting in good faith.  

I spent several phone calls with people telling me that they would "try" to get me a refund, and never heard back.  Their product may be fine, but I will never know, because their business practices are terrible.

Never had the chance to use the software.  Will explain in full review.

I love all the reports you can pull. Clocking In and out of jobs are made extremely easy for everyone. I also really like you can set a location clock in within your job. Its been a game changers for our company.

I really only have one things, I wish there was a print all button when printing time cards.

Before we did our time cards on paper. That wasnt easy and really anyone could put whatever they wanted. This way ,I know how far they are from the job when clocking in and out.

We appreciate the ease of recruiting and applicant tracking. The onboarding is also great with ease of adding required documents to the portal and a easy to navigate site for new hires that aren't always tech savy.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

Some areas don't seem to be editable so that we can customize our statements. I have explained and have had our sales representative view my screen so he can coordinate with the support team so actually this is a good thing. :-)

Arcora is providing us the ablility to recruit and track applicants, and utilize the disposition cycles so that we can utilize data for Federal Contract Required accountability and conformance. (AAP and EO employment data)

We love the ExakTime employee check-in and associated job type, the ability to verify health via the sign-in portal questions, and employee check-out on site ability.  The support system is thorough and effective, as well as readily available.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

The fact that employees do not always remember to sign out at the end of the day.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer need to use timesheets to track employee hours or type of work being done.  We are able to verify employee health at the start of each business day.  The occasional glitches are readily solved via the support system.

Exaktime has helped with invoicing, improving paperwork flow, and freeing up valuable time usually allocated to record keeping. We've been using ExakTime for about 9 years, and we will never go back to paper timecards. Other companies have options, but nothing nearly as simple and easy to use as ExakTime

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

ExakTime can be a bit frustrating at times when trying to put in new addresses for GEO location, but I mean.. who wouldn't? I've used other platforms, but none can top ExakTime.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking used to be rough estimates, but with geo location as well, it's hard for customers to deny that we were there, and for how long. It's made it a lot easier to track profit as well and help find our wasteful use of time.

  ### 17. Exaktime makes it easy

Our small construction company depends on Exaktime to log our employee time, assist in billing and ensure our team is on the job when they say they are.  We can see our team locations real time, are alerted when they assign time outside of their geo-fence and save time on data entry by syncing with our Quickbooks payroll. Customer support is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

We really haven't experienced much in the way of of dislikes for ExakTime.  Can't think of anything at the moment.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past we had employees who would falsify their remote job location when clocking in, having never visited the job site at all.  With Exaktime, we know when they attempt to clock in off-location.

  ### 18. Used to work well - now it's a laggy, buggy system

**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

I like that employess can clock in/out with their phone, select the locaiton, and cost code. It also like that it takes a photo of said employee and includes the GeoLocation, and distance from.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

I started using this program 4 years ago, and it worked well. I manage much of the time for the a company of 150 employees. Now? The system has become extremely buggy, and gets worse as time goes on. Arcoro (new? parent co) has nothing but issues. We have their AccountLinx service and it is the worst... stopped working a few weeks ago on some computers. Exaktime lags, especially during high-impact times, such as everone clocking it at same time, as if ExakTime doesn't ahve enough server bandwitdh for the increased traffic. I have recommended our company find a new service.

It solves having to deal with job clocks and keyfobs at each location. Employees can use their phone to log in/out. I like the GeoFence and the photo it takes when clocking in/out - we can see if employee is actually on the job, or sitting in their car, or miles away from where they are supposed to be at that moment.

It is very easy to use for our workers out on the field. The Geofence is also something that we enjoy using to make sure employees are clocking in in correct locations.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

There is no option to add Weekly Salary to certain employees and overtime in not calculated in Estimated Payroll Cost.

Being able to break down each employe by cost code.  This beneficial for training purposes and budgeting.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

In our situation I'm not concerned about tracking their movements because we are such a small community.  So I would say Mapview is the least used portion.

Compairing employees task times to one another allows me to find the average time required for each task and implement that when training new employees

Real time tracking of when people were on jobsites. Also able to have everyone hours tracked for billing purposes. Easy app and easy set up. Pinpoint locations

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

Theres not much to dislike about ExakTime but if there was a flaw i would say that sometimes the app may glitch on a person phone but restarting usually helps the issues

It helped the problem of people forgetting the time they arrived to a job site and the time they left. With our company sometimes its multiple jobs a day for one person

Our company uses Exaktime. We like the simplicity of the interface and it makes it easy to track job crews and stay on top of timekeeping. I also like the thorough support articles for any issues that arise.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

I'm not a huge fan of having to buy licenses for a year, especially if employee counts go up and down. I'd like a monthly subscription model.

Exaktime has saved us a lot of time and money going from physical timecards to the timekeeping app. It has sped up and simplified our payroll process significantly.

The most helpful thing about Arcoro is staying in compliance with DOT and federal regulations. Without this service many companies would/could be in jeopardy of fines and scrambling to meet the current standards. They also have a very professional and friendly staff that is always willing to help.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

The only complaint I have is the fact that they have very diffucult to contact when you need to ask a question or have a complaint. I am not sure if they are not in an office and working from home but it can very frustrating getting a question answered.

We are just an assoication selling the product to our members but I know our members enjoy knowing they are in compliance with current laws and the ease of the website.

**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

Being able to keep track of job sites on a daily bases down to the minute. Collecting time, reviewing time punches and the variety of reports make it a great system for construction. Installing and using the software is easy once you take time to learn it all. Helpful customer support is great as well.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

Do not like that on occasion the collection procces fails. The initial cost was a bit but the system has paid for its self.

It is easy to use and integrates well with our accounting system.  The customer serivce has been great as well.

Occassionally we have trouble with the field data syncing to the patform but this is mainly due the location of some of our project sites.

Since using this program, our absenteeism has decreased and we have less and less tardies on the jobsite.  This is great for accountability!

**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

Tracking employees time by the hour is helpful. Working in crews is helpful as well. Able to print time cards for payroll. Tracking the locations is helpful for the office.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

Apple and android do not work the same we have hickups in the system as it does not send payroll data right away. Some employees do not show up for days and it slows down payroll.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workin the problem of missing data for some employees.  working to fix a problem with distance. Jobs out of the area do not get received riight away. We have to resend the data over and over again.

It has a great ATS system and onboarding capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

The customer service is very poor.  It can take weeks to get a resolution to an issue.  The system does not integrate within it's different modules very well.  They don't flow or speak to each other efficiently.  The reporting features are also lacking.  For an HCM software it cannot do basic reports like retention/turnover reports.  Arcoro does not integrate with very many payroll software companies either.

It does a great job at housing applicant data and allowing potential candidates to apply to job efficiently.

**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

Photo verification, geofence accuracy. Employee name, address, phone number is in the system, so it's easy to find when working on approving time worked.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

The company does not have a support phone number. You have to submit a ticket. Someone does get back to you, but it might be a day or so. I find that some issues are just best handled by discussion and it's really really hard to get a support person on the line. You can talk with a real sales person sometimes; other times they say they will get a message to your account manager. But it's extremely difficult to get a phone call with an account manager as well. Honestly, this is my biggest problem with it. That, and when we needed new features (like a PTO module and scheduling capabilities), the cost would have doubled or tripled. And it was already really expensive, and went up a lot each year.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used it for timekeeping for our employees in our construction business. We are switching to a different software that has more features now.

When our hornets do not work and upload the hours, it really puts a chink in our payroll. We then have to rely on Foreman to provide hours manually.

They are trying to resolve our issues with our Hornets that stopped uploading records during a payroll.

Less duplication of work, tracks HR as required, we would need to hire another HR staff member without it, shares info needed in other software we use.

Some areas aren't consistent - like sorting - it's sometimes by first name, sometimes by last name.  Can't always get the correct customer support person to get answers, which wastes my time and I have to call our rep to get the right person to call me back, not intuitive in some areas - like scheduling reviews.

Electronically filling a role (can't find personnel to hire), communication with employees, onboarding.  We use applicant tracking and performance management now and are just expanding into the other areas!

The most beneficial aspect of Arcoro is the impersonation link that you can use to see what your employees see. It is helpful to use when describing specific scenarios to them.

I'm not too fond of the way you have to click through so many tabs and links to get to where you want to be. I also dislike that it is easy to get lost in the system, and the help center isn't as functional as it should be!

There is one thing that we have utilized and looked for in other HRIS, which is the concept of doing reviews. I am more productive, but only because our employees are currently are having a hard time working with the program by themselves.

I like how easy it is to add jobs and employees to the system.  The app is easy to use and train new employees on. The integration with QuickBooks makes timecard processing easy and 100% more efficient than our previous process. ExakTime allows us to focus on making sure everything is right instead of spending ours tracking down time, job codes, and locations.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

The main complaint we all have is that you cannot respond to field notes or communicate with the field with the app. It would be nice to have job-specific comments as well as crew-specific comments. Sometimes field notes require more information from the person that created the note.  It would be nice to ask questions and be able to log the responses.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business problem that ExakTime solved was the amount of time and administrative labor it took to collect time weekly for paychecks.  Further, because there were no geofences or specific locations to add accountability, times could be wildly out of relation to actual time spent on the correct job site. Instead of people trying to remember what they did last Wednesday for "8" hours at "someplace in Overland Park," we get location, job code, and time-specific information.  The money saved on just not paying 8-hour days when only six were being worked could have paid for this service, then once we add in administrative time saved... well, ExakTime won us over!

**What do you like best about Arcoro?**

It keeps exact time and allows employees to clock in and out all day.  Other time-tracking programs make the employee pick what time they are clocking in, or the job site superintendent has to clock everyone in.  That doesn't help if an employee shows up late or the superintendent is not on the job site when employees show up for work.    

The program allows Managers to approve time cards, add notes, or make changes to time punches where there are errors.  

I like how it integrates with Sage 100 Contractor.  The notes transfer into the Payroll Record, which makes billing labor easier, you can use Phases if needed, and job costing is seamless.

The program allows you to set up questions each time an employee clocks in or out.  For example, did you get injured?  Did you take all your meal and lunch breaks?

You can use the Geo-Fence function to know if an employee is actually at the job site they are clocking into.  Not just clocking in from their car on their way to work.

You can limit the cost codes used on each job so labor is only coded to cost codes included in that job's budget.

**What do you dislike about Arcoro?**

I wish they had better reports.  You can only get two out of three essential details on one report.  It would be great if you could run a report that shows each employee by job and cost code.  

The program is glitchy at times.  Managers tell me they changed a time punch, but it didn't hold.  Or the program spins and spins when you try to save changes.  You have to log out, log back in, and start over.

**What problems is Arcoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We know where each employee is at all times.  No more wondering which job site an employee is on.

It solves the time-consuming task of manually adding paper time cards.

It shows exactly when an employee clocks into a job site.  We now know which employees are late for work and how often.  

It allows the employee or management to add notes so we can job cost labor more accurately.  

It allows you to limit the cost codes employees can use to code their time.  This solves the problem of labor being coded to a cost code that isn't in the job budget.

That we dont have to worry about lunch being clocked out or in, and it automatically deducts the lunch time and that we get the option to choose how much time can be taken out.

A downside of Exaktime i would say is that sometimes there isint enought great connection and it takes a second to reload anfd log back in to your account as well for the guys on the field when clocking in

Importing hours into Sage 100 Contractor is not very efficient. Can't customize questions to our employees without paying a premium. Customer support isn't very helpful.

Basic, user friendly. Simplified platform to track employee hours. Basic start/stop made it simple to get crews who weren't as tech savy to use.
