This application can be configured through ArcGIS online and the ArcGIS Enterprise platforms. It helps the users to create and share contextual information with geospatial references in a visually appealing manner via dynamic web interfaces and various multimedia content. Complex geospatial analytical outputs that exist in the form of a feature class and raster formats are hard to understand by non-GIS users. Thus, story maps fulfill this gap by facilitating intuitive visualization methods bridged with the spatial framework which can transfer the core idea effectively.
