This product will give you access to various common ways of visualizing data and you will be able to share with the ESRI community your datasets pretty much by default. Also ESRI has a LOT OF VALUABLE DATA you can utilize to your heart's content (provided that you have the credits to make requests to pull that data) that would really be hard to find elsewhere. I like it, but ESRI needs to be knocked off their high horse still, in my opinion! **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Online?** Can't stand how ESRI is charging an arm and a leg nowadays! I mean, I have used arcGIS online A LOT during my career. And it's easy to sign up and integrate with your copy of arcGIS Pro. Customer support is good but they try to push their community forums on you a bit too much in my opinion. Data are easily shareable to a web-hosted feature layer (WFL). The WFL can then be shared with other members in the organization and used for integration with Field Maps and other survey Apps. Or you can use the WFL to create story maps and web applications to share data with non-GIS users. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Online?** Because it is an online cloud-based service, it's not always as reliable as you'd like. Similarly, troubleshooting is difficult and time-consuming. Especially when trying to create offline map areas for use in Field Maps. **What problems is ArcGIS Online solving and how is that benefiting you?** I primarily use AGOL to create offline map areas for our survey team, who often works in remote areas without service. It's great at analyzing map data, which you can import or export, and it offers its own Esri-curated content. ArcGIS is the industry standard and you won't find another product like it. The Online version is good for entry-level users. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Online?** ArcGIS Online isn't as powerful as ArcGIS Pro. It's also not great at quickly updating its layers. For example: if I import data and run analysis on it, but want to change one entry in the data, I need to delete the layer, make the change in Excel, import the new data, and rerun the analysis.
