What do you like best about AQA Synthetic Monitoring?

AQA - Assurance Quick Anytime - OK, OK, I made this acronym up, but it rings true

* I like the Assurance that the AQA health check gives us. No news is good news, and with AQA monitoring, we are alerted when common problems arise.

* The AQA invocation/response is Quick and easy. One click/script invocation initiates a full check of key functionality on every JVM, across all servers.

* Anytime we need to check our JVMs, AQA is there. Anytime we need support, AQA support is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AQA Synthetic Monitoring?

When business flow changes, the monitoring flow must reconfigured. There is some overhead involved to get these changes implemented. AQA support is available and requests are actioned quickly, but I wish it were more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AQA Synthetic Monitoring solving and how is that benefiting you?

* Sometimes a JVM will appear to start properly, but in fact will not have all data 'vectors' loaded properly. The result is a bad user experience. We use AQA to exercise the problematic web pages BEFORE the user gets there. We get notified and bounce the JVM. Problem fixed.

* Lets face it. Things break. When a component of the process flow fails, AQA will catch and alert the error, giving us a head-start on the investigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AQA Synthetic Monitoring?

Status of Servers/Applications are constantly being tested and the outcome of these tests is reflected by colored Widgets on a single dashboard (page) where every Server/App is represented by a Widget. And with each Widget is the ability to drill down and see the cause of the non-Green status - Red or Yellow, specific to that Server/App. Whenever there are issues, email alerts are sent thereby providing notification of an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AQA Synthetic Monitoring?

Thats a tough question. To date I have not found anything about this product that I dont like. I keep a window in my browser open, all day, and continue to check that all of the Widgets are green. When a Widget turns RED, we ensure that someone is investigating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AQA Synthetic Monitoring solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think the biggest problem being solved by AQA is improved MTTR. We know immediately when a system problem occurs and where it occurred. AQA does not solve the problem, but it gives us a head start to begin the recovery. Much better than having our customers tell us we are having a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
