In 2020, Apteryx was purchased by Planet DDS, which is located in Newport Beach, California Rather than being a subsidiary of a dental products or insurance company, Planet DDS is unique in that we are exclusively dental software focused. What do you like best about Apteryx Imaging?

We love having access to images from anywhere. Love the cloud updates so our backup/disaster recovery is much easier. We have very few imaging related IT calls any more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apteryx Imaging?

We have no dislikes about Apteryx Imaging. So far with over 25 practices using it our teams are loving it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

mistake, i wish i never got involved with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apteryx Imaging?

Advertised a single solution for imaging and then "sunsetted" their imaging software. Advertised hardware to support sensors and software, which were not appropriate and had to be repurchased. This company is a joke, don't trust your patients with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Peter, we understand the frustration that comes with having to update software. I believe you are speaking about our on-premise solution you purchased 4 years ago. As we continue to improve and enhance our offering, cloud-based software is the most secure, efficient, and cost-saving solution, and therefore we are focusing our efforts on our cloud-based solution, Apteryx XVWeb Cloud Imaging, and moving away from the on-premise solutions.

What do you like best about Apteryx Imaging?

That it is compatible with most dental software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apteryx Imaging?

Contacting for help is very time-consuming, especially when you have a patient in the chair and your software isn't working. Also, when purchasing updated software it doesn't work correctly so they postpone GO LIVE's until a fix can be in place and it takes 8 months to GO LIVE and you already paid them the fee for the new software. Looking to get rid of the desktop version of x-ray software. The advantage of web-based system is clear images and send images. Also, the ease of ability Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
