What do you like best about Aprimo?

- onboarding process is extremely detailed and thorough. They really want to set you up for success.

- front-end interface is easy to use. Not much training required for users to begin finding assets. The UX is intuitive for the most part.

- flexible, allowing you to customize to your particular needs.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

- system admin interface is a bit complex to learn

- training sequence for onboarding can be confusing

- lots of places to go to log in to various sites for training, support, etc. Would love to just have one URL to remember/bookmark for everything. I think they're working on this, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo is simple enough to use without having a full time curator/librarian on staff to manage the digital assets. How it implements permissions is very straight forward and easy to manage. It is particularly helpful with InDesign packages... which is something I have seen other DAM systems struggle with. Their case support system works very well. What do you dislike about Aprimo?

There is occasional funkiness with SSO logins, and with InDesign packages. Uploading InDesign packages works well, but requires very rigid adherence to unwritten laws... I'd like to see them improve this in the future, but even in its current state is an improvement over other DAMs I've worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Aprimo?

One thing I like best about Aprimo is the stableness of the site--I'm able to visit one of my materials and it's easy to navigate and immediately find. Plus, the search feature is very helpful when I'm looking for a piece that's not linked on my company's SharePoint site. Easy to integrate into my workflows as well since I work with the Aprimo Librarian for my company and I use Aprimo daily; I can keep a stable link to the site on other applications like Excel. What do you dislike about Aprimo?

Personally, I find the lack of expired material notifications being an issue. I work with materials sent from third party managers which can range from monthly, quarterly, or annually updated and I wish there was a way for me to easily get notified when a piece is expiring soon and/or has expired. Something like a mass material dropdown selection for expiration monitoring would be very helpful if implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo is easy to navigate and the training prior to launching/partnering with Aprimo was some of the best that I have seen. Setting up Aprimo spaces is easy and organizing our assets within them is even easier. The bulk editing option is defintely a lifesaver for every day use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

There are a few things that our old DAM had that Aprimo either does not or we have not yet figured out how to do. The "Full Library" can be a bit confusing and overwhelming for some of the users that we have and I wish there was a way that you can select multiple assets to share at the same time with a single public link -- like a group link. What do you like best about Aprimo?

We use Aprimo to store files before they flow to the final platform on our CMS. We are able to search and filter to find, download and/or possibly edit these files, which range from ePubs to videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

Because there is so much to this platform, a person literally has to go through hours of training before they know everything they need to know. That being said, the person that does that is the Aprimo Admin, so not everyone needs to go through the training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo has enabled us to begin creating one source of truth for all of our assets. The system also works as a project management tool, so we have both our content library, which integrates with our other systems and our project management tools in one system. Aprimo has allowed us to have one source where all of our different departments are able to access assets, instead of having assets saved on individual desktops or filing systems, and allows us to better track both updated versions of assets and different variations of assets. Searching and finding assets has also been improved. Aprimo also allows us to record needed and customizable metadata, especially important data such as image use rights and restrictions. What do you dislike about Aprimo?

What do you like best about Aprimo?

Workflows are easy to create and implement. Aprimo also provides integration to other platforms making business processes seamless. Our team utilizes Aprimo every single day and use it as our single source of truth for our materials. I have access to my CRM to assist with any issues I encouter. What do you like best about Aprimo?

Aprimo is perhaps the most-loved system in our tech stack. Users praise the intuitive interface and ease of use. We have extensively reconfigured Aprimo to support our business, and have been impressed by the power and flexibility of the product. We have around six hundred users in the system, and something like three million assets, some of which are absurdly large. We have integrated Aprimo with our PIM, and have other integrations which deliver images to our customers automatically. Aprimo is a core part of doing business for us. What do you dislike about Aprimo?

We've been very happy with the product. The implementation was time-consuming, due to our unusual business needs and complex integrations. What do you like best about Aprimo?

After using other CMS (or DAM) platforms, including wordpress and hubspot, and I felt like Aprimo is more user-friendly and easier to collaborate cross-departmenally (event for those who are not as "tech-savy" - after a short tutorial, they were able to use it without much problem). I found it to be quite robust - I especially appreciate the template building ease, as compared to some clunky CMS/DAM/brand management software I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aprimo?

When we first started using it, the integration was more challenging than anticipated and support was more limited than we would have liked. Also, this is really with all DAM/CMS platforms, it is super important to be consistant with file naming/tagging or things can get disorganized and mucked up quickly. The learning curve after the activation workshop is a little rough. Figuring out where to go to update certain things concerning permissions at an asset level to a user group level.
