Aprima software is super easy to use, especially for solo practitioners. You can even customize it to fit your needs. CGM Aprima actually listens to its customers which is amazing. And the best part? What do you dislike about CGM Aprima?

Now, here's a little feedback for improvement. It'd be great if they could make the interface a bit more friendly. Oh, and graphical charts would be awesome! They make things faster and ease to integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CGM Aprima?

Although by switching to Aprima we were able to keep our system support staff (who are great!!!!); strictly speaking from the PM side - there are NO features appreciated! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CGM Aprima?

Here's the "Short List”: Time Consuming / Decreased Productivity - EVERY task (not exaggerating!) requires multiple steps and screens. Then, when switching screens, it takes too long to bring up the new screen as each field on the page has to download individually! If a data entry mistake is ever made in the system - - - there are NO easy ways to fix it!!!!!!

Redundancy - Example 1: Insurance companies must be set up twice in the system - once as a "Payer," then as a "Plan." Setting up an individual Plan for each Payer is not needed but is required in this system. Example 2: Cannot assign a specific DEFAULT Payer payment and adjustment (i.e., "Medicaid Payment," "BCBS Payment," etc.). Instead, the payment and adjustment type must be manually entered (typed) when posting each transaction.

Negative Impact on Revenue Cycle - Aprima requires using eMedix Clearinghouse for all electronic claims and payments. Comparable to Aprima, eMedix is the WORST clearinghouse I've ever encountered (at least they are consistent)!!! I won't go into eMedix issues (another day...) except to say that the hoops and workarounds needed to get the claims to transmit to the payers are mind-numbing/blowing! Forget SECONDARY CLAIMS - It's been five months, and the primary COB information still isn't sending correctly for any of our secondary claims!!!! Let's just say that I REFUSE to use the "automatic" payment posting feature!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CGM Aprima?

The build of the system is very tailored to what you need and it's fairly easy to use once you have it built out. The security considerations are also good- you can align users with different securities very easily and it's easy to change Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CGM Aprima?

It's not the most up to date system. It lacks sophistication in its data integration capabilities and it's data/med record pull in. The support team for build out was sub par at best Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CGM Aprima?

It's a great program for record keeping. I can record everything from patient symptoms to insurance billing records. It's easy to make appointments in several different categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CGM Aprima?

There should be a place for notes for each patient. That way, if John Doe calls, for example, I could read a little note about what's going on with him from the last person that talked to him. Also, this program is quite overwhelming for new hires. It takes them a long time to learn the system. I wish it was more streamlined. A tutorial video should come with software like this. Aprima charges for every little thing. When my company started researching other companies, we realized we have been cheated for years with features to make our lives easier. When we starting inquiring about why we didn’t have certain features, we were told that we could add features for additional cost. We were already paying $700+ per month.
