AppstoreSpy's Market Explorer is a standout, turning data analysis into a treasure hunt for profitable niches with its deep dive filters. The Collections feature acts like a personal market assistant, keeping vital stats at my fingertips. It's the clarity and convenience in a complex app ecosystem that I value most. Although AppstoreSpy is robust, I find the interface a bit overwhelming at times, with so many features packed into one platform. It takes a while to get used to where everything is. Also, while the data is rich, the learning curve for leveraging this information effectively can be steep for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
AppstoreSpy is limited to provide a version for users. The interface is overwhelming at time. The team behind it is not responsive and lazy to solve any issues. I hope to see some features and an improved visual design in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are limitations when it comes to customizing filters and analytics. There is a lack of instructions and tutorials for users. The data updates are inconsistent affecting accuracy. Customer support is limited resulting in response times. Exporting data, for analysis is also a pose problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm using this analytics tool to identify the top competition in the niches. Especially when startups approach me with their ideas to conquer specific niches, I open Niche Finder. If their niches are already identified, I analyze their app positions and downloads etc., with care, comparing the indicators with the niche leaders' ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I'm not able to identify the downloads for the smaller apps. But that's how competitive research looks, not the industrial espionage. :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
