What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Love that Apple Pay is really secure way to pay online, as card details have been stored in the in Apple wallet it makes app online purchases safer and trouble free. No need enter debit or credit card details on third party websites. Fingerprint makes it more secure incase device is lost or stolen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

There is at times a clear lack for retail locations that support Apple Pay. One even claiming they do it with a cap of £30? . This may have been said due to the confusion between contactless cards which has a cap of £30. Clients and retailers lack the knowledge of Apple Pay or can sometimes find it difficult to differentiate between the two which can cause issues at the point of sale. Also there are times that the system declines payment when the physical card gets accepted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

I have always been an iPhone user, so it’s super convenient for me to be able to pay using the device that’s almost always in my hands. Plus it’s super easy to access your Wallet, just push the power button twice rather quickly, and then hold your phone up to the card reader. Almost instant you paid for your items. I love everything about it. Not having to open a wallet, dealing with change, all of it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

I wish Apple Pay was a universal thing. I know they’re hoping to get to that point but right now there’s still slight confusion on where I can use Apple Pay and where not. Plus some places I can use Apple Pay but it’s not advertised enough so you’re not sure while you’re standing at the register. Apple should tell stores to place a rather large sticker near every card reader that says we accept Apple Pay. Also, although I’ve never encountered any fees associated with using Apple Pay, I’ve heard there is such a thing which is also not a positive thing but understandable. What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

The fact that it takes just a second or two to pay when using apple pay, compared to using a card with a chip and having to wait 10 seconds is in itself such a benefit. This allows the whole transaction to complete faster, the line/wait to be shorter and just less hassle overall. I like how apple has continued to improve apple pay to make it more secure, easier to use and quicker over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

To be frank, there is nothing about Apple Pay that I dislike or even had issues with and I have been using it for almost 2-3 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

I love my iPhone, and the integration with the credit card within the wallet app is unparalleled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

I wish I could create custom categories or tags for my purchases. There are other budgeting apps that can do this, but if the wallet app did this natively, that would be great. You can suggest edits for the purchases, but then it changes that store's category completely. For example, I sometimes buy groceries from Wal-Mart, but other times I buy toilet paper. Those two are not in the same category (at least in my mind). I would love the ability to customize categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

I love how easy Apple Pay makes it to set up your cards, debit or credit, to pay for products and services that accept it. It’s quick, versatile and convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

I don’t like how it’s hard to correct your card or set it back up if you’re card doesn’t go through. It gives you an error notification and the only way I’ve found out to edit it and correct it is through the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Able to pay without having possession of card. Setting up is easy, linking multiple cards is possible. Quick and easy way to pay from a trusted brand and secure payments with latest technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

Payment does not reflect quickly on banking statement. Money can take time to leave account. Payment not always successful on first attempt , this can cause problems between business and clients if client believes they have paid but not come through on system. What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Apple Pay is very efficient, it saves you time rather than having to fill out long payment details every time you make a purchase. Instead you can pay securely with a touch of a button. The contactless feature is another thing I really like about Apple Pay, I am able to use the trains, pay for stuff via contactless payment and not have to carry my wallet around.

In this day and age majority of people have a smartphone, so times in need when you do not have your wallet with out, or you have misplaced your wallet/purse you are able to just use your phone! This is great as it is not only efficient, but advantageous in the sense that your phone with the use of Apple Pay has become your bank phone as well.

I like how the payment is instant. It is very easy to use, all your have to do is click the lock button twice, and just tap your phone on the contact less reader. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

When purchasing items in person, if a particular card reader does not have contactless, then Apple Pay cannot be used. This is not a major reason to dislike, but more that the shop selling the product should have contactless payment allowed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Apple pay is convenient and accessible. It can be used within minutes with just an insert of your mobile passcode or Face ID. I’ve used it when my credit cards were not near and was still able to process a payment on my phone. You can also use it at most stores right from the phone if you attach your debit card. It’s nice to know if I cannot pay with plastic cards theres always my digital card from Apple Pay available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

If your phone is dead of course it cannot be accessed. Also- the face ID doesnt always work well with using it because you have to confirm with your face after you’ve started the process clicking the payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
