What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Apple Pay is easy to use, fast and in this time of Covid19 every store should have it available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

That it’s not available everywhere I shop. I would give it a 10 if it wasn’t for that. It would be nice if more stores adopted this method. Especially grocery stores. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

That you can literally pay with only your phone/apple watch, you just hold your apple watch/iphone to a pin device and it pays with only your phone/apple watch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

What I dislike is that you have to press the on/off button twice to enable apple pay and there could be easier ways, but then its also easier for other people to use your apple pay ofcourse but they should at least give you the option to be avle to change it. What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Payments have never been as simple and convenient as with apple pay before, especially in times of social distancing and fear of unnecessary touching of the keys on the payment device. The app is super secure and doesn't work unless authenticated using a touch ID. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

Well, I don't dislike anything as such, but I would love to have an additional provision that provides a detailed history and summary of the payments. That's the only thing which I feel is what is keeping apple pay becoming the best NFC payment app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Easy payments to people or at specific stores. Online shopping is easier. This is accepted at more places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

Not a lot of sites accept it yet. So once it is accepted in more locations it could have potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

Easy to use, and I like that your phone receives a text after with how much you spent Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

On new iPhones with facial recognition - it doesn’t recognise you with a mask on. As such, you then pay via your pin code. This makes it easier to steal, compared to finger print on previous models Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

This is a quick, convenient, and trusted method to accept and make payments when it is an option. Apple is a trusted company that takes security and personal information seriously so customers are less nervous and more trusting with making payments using this method. In many cases if the customer already has a card set up on their iPhone then the payment is very quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

The main issue with apple pay is many stores are not set up to accept apple pay yet. So its not yet a perfect solution where you can go out shopping and make payments without bringing your wallet or credit cards to use for backup in case the vendor does not accept payments yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Pay for merchants?

The best thing that I like about Apple Pay is that it is so simple to use and setup. When you first see the setup screen it is so easy to add cards with just a click of a button and is in plain clear site no need to go through clunky menus and such. The verification process is also seamless by verifying through a banks app and not having to wait on a call line is convenient. The compatibility of the cards that you can add to Apple Pay is probably every single bank and credit union in America, it would be hard to find a card or bank that does not support Apple Pay. Now on to the security side of Apple Pay, the way that Apple Transacts these payments are very cool and full of safety measures. The way that Apple processes payments are by not using your actually card number rather they use a virtual card number that is linked to your real payment and send that to the merchant. In the case that the merchant gets hacked then the hacker would only have access to your virtual one time card and not your real card. This makes me feel a lot safer when using my card either online or in stores. Stolen credit cards are my worries the most and using Apple Pay I have no worries about getting my info lost. What do you dislike about Apple Pay for merchants?

A thing that I do not like about Apple Pay is that the limitation is very picky. Apple Pay is only for Apple devices that are newer than the iPhone 6 and that blows away a lot of the market for users that want to take advantage of the software. Another thing that I do not like in particular is the fact that Apple Pay is not universally accepted everywhere. When going to certain merchants I have no idea whether or not that Apple Pay would be accepted or not? Going up to the cashier and trying to use Apple Pay is very cumbersome and embarrassing when trying to tap your phone on the card reader and not having anything working. I think that Apple should persuade all merchants to use this technology and maybe provide an incentive for a short period to get them on board. Another issue that I ran across is that sometimes the transactions are glitched in the wallet app, one time I went shopping at a store and when I checked on the wallet app about the transaction, it showed me a totally different merchant that I had not went to, but the transaction was made at the place I bought from, so that was an issue. That is a big issue that needs to be fixed as it is important to the consumer to get accurate information about their transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
