I like that it is available and with me wherever I go. It is convenient to not have to carry a wallet with you everywhere. It makes paying at a store or online very quick and simple. You never have to worry about the magnetic strip or chip wearing out either. I was skeptical when it first came out but I have seen recently that thinking that way was a little unfounded. I have run into an issue a couple of times when my card was up for renewal and/or I was upgrading my devices where it was a little tempermental when it came to updating my information. It ended up that I had to do a combination of on the computer and then on my device and even then it was still finicky. I think in the end I had to completely remove it and then re enter it. I love that this feature is available for Apple products and on websites including stores.
