A dependable Mac Operating System from 2012 that introduced Malware blocking and iCloud services for backup and data sharing across both iOS and Mac OS. Apple also introduced Messages to replace iChat; this was a quantum leap for cross-device messaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The OS, although great at the time (2012), is now very dated and does not have the applications or features that later versions of the OS include. There is also no support for 64-bit hardware in this Operating System, the standard hardware configuration for Apple devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the fact that it is one of the oldest mac OS that can be easily downloaded and installed, and an empty MacBook machine after then, It is possible to be upgraded to the latest version mac OS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My dislike is that during the revealing of Mac OS X Lion, it supports fewer DMG files to run applications, and also it gives very little of Mac apps and no update available when using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most about the Mountain Lion is its notification feature because when we drag two fingers, we will be able to see notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say I like the feature of not installing the latest software, like when I try to install some software like Adobe after effects for editing, but it's not work in the Mountain Lion because of the OS version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Notification Center in mountain lion is really the impressive and is a good attempt of a consistent user experience throughout the products be it iOS or macOs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Power Nap only is supported by small handful of macs, save as feature was improved later releases which was annoying at first. Few features are only supported by subset of macs need a good coverage here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the look of everything. It easy to navigate with the applications at an easy access. Nothing is too hidden and you can easily search for applications, etc. if they are readily available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I dislike how things won't update automatically or I wont get notified that there is a new update for a while past a new software update, etc. But other than that no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
