**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

The simplicity and ease of use in this software is outstanding. I love that all of the features are built in to the system. There are plenty of pre-loaded templates to choose from. Everything looks very clean and professional.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

The only difficulties I find when using this product is the sharing capabilities when sharing between Mac and Windows users. However, it is easily reconciled using the Export to PDF feature.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this system to keep track of order versus reorders has saved a lot of time in scheduling production. We have been able to see when our schedules are fluctuating by using this software and will be better prepared in the future.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Of all the productivity apps none scream more office geek than numbers while still leaving you with and edge of coolness. I love that this app makes designing great looking spreadsheets easy.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

I don’t always feel like the app gives great help and function support for more complicated calculations, but maybe that’s the office in me talking.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use numbers whenever I know I have basic calculations that need an a personal touch and I want the data to look fancy

  ### 5. How many apples?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

I like the ease of use and UI. Its pretty simple to navigate from one feature to the next.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

I dont really like the support infrastructure. If I'm stuck on something, I tend to refer to google for help.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

There are lots of platforms/ apps out there to conduct numbers analytics. Consider Apple numbers first, but use others where appropriate.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily keep track of expenses and create problem solving analytics. Also good for number/ data storage.

  ### 6. Very good alternative to the leading Spreadsheet application.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Collaboration tool is very convenient when having multiple users share data entry on a document. The formulas work as well as in leading Spreadsheet application. I love the presets for the tables, they are absolutely gorgeous, very professional looking. The free templates are also very nice. It's also very easy to save your document to another file type compatible with other spreadsheet softwares.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Collaboration tool sometimes falls out of sync, therefore forcing the closure of the file where you have to save a copy to keep your recent changes. It happens every 3-4 week. Little annoying. Some formulas aren't exactly in the same format as in the leading Spreadsheet application, but once you know it, it's great.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

The formulas are a little different from the leading Spreadsheet application, but you get quickly accustomed to it. The tables and graphics visual presets are very professional looking. I love the easy conversion to the usual spreadsheets document formats and pdfs.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Numbers for various spreadsheets, calculation, trackings, invoices, data compilation, reports. It's an amazing tool. I even used the free invoice template to revamp my old invoice template.

  ### 7. Simply another beautiful product from Apple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

- The formulas work perfectly as in the typical spreadsheet application.

- The designs of the table presets are very elegant and have a very professional look.

- The free templates are also very good.

- It is also very simple to export to another type of file compatible with other spreadsheet software.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

As happens with other company software, many of the features we miss were in previous versions of "Numbers."

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can control my income and expenses easily and include graphs as needed, using the templates provided.

  ### 8. Decent spreadsheet application

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

We use numbers on the iCloud and it’s nice to share data.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

It often reloads for no reason. Limited tools compared to other programs.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

Good spreadsheet program and put data in and analyze

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analyzing data

  ### 9. Teaching Spreadsheets with Apple Numbers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Libraries | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

One thing that I like is that the table is only as large as your data instead of the infinite scrolling available in other spreadsheet programs, and that you can put more than 1 table in a spreadsheet. Another thing I like are the interactive charts with sliders for comparing groups of data. I also like the built in stock information which makes it easy to import current data into your table.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

I don't like some of the default settings on a table like freeze row 1 and column A is turned on by default. I also would like the option to draw an equation and have it convert to text. Being that there is a drawing feature and an equation feature, I don't like that they don't work together.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

Apple Numbers is good for basic spreadsheets. It does not contain much of the functionality that a more complicated spreadsheet program like Excel does, but that is exactly the point. Most Excel users use a small portion of the features and all of the extra bells and whistles may be overwhelming. If you want to do just the basics, Numbers is the way to go. However, if you want to do more complicated tasks like macros, vlookup, PivotTables, etc. then go with Excel.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Apple Numbers to to teach productivity tools to library patrons who want to use their iPads in lieu of a desktop and other office suite programs. I have realized that the simplicity of the program is good for introductory users because it does not overwhelm them the way so many ribbons & buttons do in Excel.

  ### 10. Excel Replacement with a difficult learning curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

I like the ability to import and export any of my coworkers MS Excel docs. iCloud integration is the best, easy for quick edits, pulling up on a desktop computer, passing off to an intern. Everything is easy and data is never saved over.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Its very difficult for life-long Microsoft users to make edits in Numbers. While the program is free, Apple hardware is expensive. Also no android, windows or web-based support.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

Do you have a lot of Apple products? Its for you.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better price point than Excel (free). I can make edits on my phone and iPad with iCloud, Office 360 is terrible compared to this ease of use.

  ### 11. Numbers is Excel for Apple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel B. | Youth Pastor, Religious Institutions, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

It is easy to use, it’s functions are very similar to Excel and just as powerful

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

In older versions it worked more cohesively with Pages, especially with mail merges. I understand the change but even in the digital age there are still applicable reasons to have mail merge functions.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

If you are considering between using Pages, Numbers and Keynote on your Mac and the Microsoft suite, save your money, the Apple applications do it all and can export to Microsoft formats easily.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling volunteer and personal data of adherents.
