What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

Apple numbers is a smoother version of Excel. It is really built well and has a lot of templates which. might be useful to people. It is a great software to do calculations, accoutning and analysis or any data and it is easy to use. The cross sync function with apple id is amazing! Customer support is really well for Apple products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

This tool is not as great as its competitor which is MS Excel. The first problem is that it is not available on all devices. It works solely with Apple Devices. The UI seems very simple but this is meant to do complex tasks, which users cant do easily compared to other tools. This is not so easy to integrate in your day to day lives. I do not use it frequenctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

Ease of use, fully integrated into Mac systems. User friendly to the point of almost seeming overly simplistic, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

Not as many options as Excel, but that might not be a bad thing. Sometimes Excel can be intimidating with all the features, to the point you feel like you need to break out a thick manual to know how to use everything. Numbers makes everything easy and gives you what the average person needs with a spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has been a huge help in the world of inventory. I managed a craft beer bar with 48 beers on tap and over a hundred bottles and/or cans at any point in time. Keeping track of them could have been a nightmare, but I devised a system with Numbers that helped keep track of everything, how many units I was going through a month/week/year and would formulate averages for me as well. What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

Ever since I made the switch to MacBook, Apple Numbers has been my go-to for keeping my life organized.

The built-in templates are like my secret weapons—especially the ones for tracking my financial portfolio and managing my budget. Being a busy MBA student and juggling freelance gigs, I need to stay on top of my earnings, expenses, and stocks, and Apple Numbers makes it a breeze. It's like having a personal assistant for my finances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

One key challenge I've encountered with Apple Numbers is its compatibility hurdle, especially when collaborating on MBA teamwork projects. While I find it incredibly handy for personal use, the snag arises when syncing up with my team. Given that many of my teammates aren't Apple aficionados and lean towards Excel, coordinating on projects becomes a bit of a juggle.

The compatibility mismatch between Apple Numbers and Excel, often due to varied platform preferences among team members, means I'm compelled to pivot back to Excel for seamless collaboration. It's a bit like straddling two worlds—I love the ease of Numbers for my personal tracking, but the team dynamics pull me back into the Excel orbit for the sake of teamwork harmony. It's a small hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience, but it does highlight the importance of seamless cross-platform collaboration tools in a mixed-tech environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

The in built-in templates are a huge help, especially when it comes to tracking my financial game and managing the budget hustle.

As an MBA student juggling studies/projects and freelance gigs, life gets a bit chaotic. But here's where Apple Numbers steps in as my financial superhero. Tracking earnings, keeping tabs on expenses, and even diving into the stock market frenzy—all in one place.

Being a freelancer means my income isn't your typical 9-to-5 deal. It fluctuates, it surprises, and it keeps me on my toes. Apple Numbers, with its intuitive interface and snazzy templates, turns this financial rollercoaster into a joyride. I can visualize my earnings, see where my money is going, and plan for the future with a clarity I never had before.

And if I talk about investing in stocks, I can monitor my stock portfolio, track trends, and make informed decisions without needing a finance degree.

So, in a nutshell, Apple Numbers isn't just a spreadsheet tool; it's my financial guru. It's the reason I can confidently say my personal finances have gone from chaotic to calculated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

Mostly everyday tasks can be easily done. The visualisation is up to the mark with wide range of templates as option which can beautify the work and create a strong impact. Once onboarded with the features, the app then becomes very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

The onboarding and getting acquainted with the app can take some time for new users. The UX is very apple user specific. Also, there are some limitations when it comes to integrating software with other applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apple is in right direction to make its users acquainted with the app having a UI and UX in such a way that apple users can easily understand. All of the features are very user friendly for apple users and even if you're using any spreadsheet tool for the first time but are renowned with other apple applications, then getting onboarded with Numbers app will not take much time for you. It helps us to provide KT to other new users in a much efficient and convenient way. The sharing feature of iCoud drive also allows us to view and edit sheets in almost real time. The UI and templates are very frequently used by us to provide insights by performing our analysis on data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would love to see more timely updates from Apple for their numbers app even though it is great. There are many things that other competitors provide that I would love to see in this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

While it has mainly all formulas and functions that Excel provides, that is not where it shiens. It works much better when you create a simple form with a great UI to input data on a spreadsheet. Data validation in every field is much better and a lot more convenient and there are a lot of presets from which you could choose. The form is actually very to implement and you could lock the database so the form is the only way to update it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

Definitely not as powerful as Excel with things like Pivot Tables. The form is mainly convenient on mobile, on Mac it might seem far too basic. The spreadsheet is still not as convenient to fill with very few shortcuts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps create small forms for all colleagues to fill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

i like the way it helps the team to collaborate and work together which helps to make the tasks easier and collaborative. its user interface is beginner friendly with a lot of awesome features eg. image insertion, chart visualisation, data organisation in the form of tables with sorting , searching and filtering of data. its cross plateform on apple ecosystem like mac , ios and ipad you need not to carry your laptop everywhere you can open the sheets on your mobile phone also which pretty much better feature.other than. that its free and can be stored on icloud to avail it anytime from cloud server. What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

i am using it from last 2 year and i didn't find anything which i dislike about it. its awesome tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

Numbers help me to solve the problem of gathering requirements of the task in the systematic manner. the table and its formatting in spreadsheet along with predefined set of templates which makes my task easy and simple. when i write api's for my backend application i use numbers to use those data points in the database in the similar format because of which i only focus on logical part of my backend application and tabulation of data gets handled by numbers itself which helps a lot in delivering the task accurately and efficiently in the stimulated time frame Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

Apple Numbers offers a unique blend of intuitive design and seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem. It has a clean user interface, and is a good solution for anyone looking to do simple spreadsheet tasks, such as a personal budget, or keeping track of basic daily stats (such as running distance etc). It presents data in a visually appealing way, and has good collaboration features (but only for people in the Apple ecosystem). The templates have been well designed, and makes it easy to create beautiful templates and to set up and get started with right away without a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

Coming from a background as a data analyst, I found that Apple Numbers lacks the features that I've grown accustomed to with Excel and Google Sheets. While Numbers is fantastic for basic tasks and presents data in a visually pleasing manner, for anything more advanced, or for business use, the functions and formulas are limited. If you have also used Excel or Google Sheets, the entire approach Numbers takes is quite different, making it challenging to adapt to a different workflow. I've tried to switch to Numbers many times, but always find myself returning to the other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apple Numbers is great for creating visually appealing spreadsheets quickly and with ease. One of the main problems it addresses is the often cumbersome and complex design elements found in other spreadsheet software. For instance, when I need to create a spreadsheet for a presentation or a document meant for an audience that prioritizes design and aesthetics, I use Numbers (but only when the spreadsheet isn't being shared with other people). Its built-in templates and design-first approach ensure that my documents look polished without having to spend too much time on design tweaks.

Also, the integration within the Apple ecosystem is huge. When working on a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, the seamless experience of creating, editing, and sharing spreadsheets across devices without compatibility issues is a significant benefit. It saves me from the hassle of file conversions or worrying about format inconsistencies.

However, for more data-intensive tasks, I still rely on other tools. But for quick, visually appealing, and easily shareable spreadsheets, Numbers offers a straightforward solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
