Apple numbers is a smoother version of Excel. It is really built well and has a lot of templates which. might be useful to people. It is a great software to do calculations, accoutning and analysis or any data and it is easy to use. The cross sync function with apple id is amazing! Customer support is really well for Apple products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool is not as great as its competitor which is MS Excel. The first problem is that it is not available on all devices. It works solely with Apple Devices. The UI seems very simple but this is meant to do complex tasks, which users cant do easily compared to other tools. This is not so easy to integrate in your day to day lives. I do not use it frequenctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Apple Numbers boasts a clean and intuitive user interface, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced users. The clean design enhances makes it easy to find things and just looks nice overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Apple Numbers can import and export Excel files, there can be compatibility issues with more complex Excel features. Also, in general, users transitioning from other spreadsheet applications may experience a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use, fully integrated into Mac systems. User friendly to the point of almost seeming overly simplistic, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as many options as Excel, but that might not be a bad thing. Sometimes Excel can be intimidating with all the features, to the point you feel like you need to break out a thick manual to know how to use everything. Numbers makes everything easy and gives you what the average person needs with a spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ever since I made the switch to MacBook, Apple Numbers has been my go-to for keeping my life organized.
The built-in templates are like my secret weapons—especially the ones for tracking my financial portfolio and managing my budget. Being a busy MBA student and juggling freelance gigs, I need to stay on top of my earnings, expenses, and stocks, and Apple Numbers makes it a breeze. It's like having a personal assistant for my finances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One key challenge I've encountered with Apple Numbers is its compatibility hurdle, especially when collaborating on MBA teamwork projects. While I find it incredibly handy for personal use, the snag arises when syncing up with my team. Given that many of my teammates aren't Apple aficionados and lean towards Excel, coordinating on projects becomes a bit of a juggle.
The compatibility mismatch between Apple Numbers and Excel, often due to varied platform preferences among team members, means I'm compelled to pivot back to Excel for seamless collaboration. It's a bit like straddling two worlds—I love the ease of Numbers for my personal tracking, but the team dynamics pull me back into the Excel orbit for the sake of teamwork harmony. It's a small hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience, but it does highlight the importance of seamless cross-platform collaboration tools in a mixed-tech environment. Mostly everyday tasks can be easily done. The visualisation is up to the mark with wide range of templates as option which can beautify the work and create a strong impact. Once onboarded with the features, the app then becomes very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The onboarding and getting acquainted with the app can take some time for new users. The UX is very apple user specific. Also, there are some limitations when it comes to integrating software with other applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really love the the simplicity that numbers provides every feature and every formulations and all the changes everything is super easy to do and very user-friendly even if you don't know the know House of this app, you would be able to learn it on your own pretty quickly because everything is pretty straightforward, so I really appreciate the fact that it is very user-friendly. I would love to see more timely updates from Apple for their numbers app even though it is great. There are many things that other competitors provide that I would love to see in this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it has mainly all formulas and functions that Excel provides, that is not where it shiens. It works much better when you create a simple form with a great UI to input data on a spreadsheet. Data validation in every field is much better and a lot more convenient and there are a lot of presets from which you could choose. The form is actually very to implement and you could lock the database so the form is the only way to update it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Definitely not as powerful as Excel with things like Pivot Tables. The form is mainly convenient on mobile, on Mac it might seem far too basic. The spreadsheet is still not as convenient to fill with very few shortcuts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like charts design the most in Apple Numbers. The design is amazing and stand apart from all other spreadsheet software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I slightly dislike the home page like all the functions are not at one place. Might be an issue because I'm a new user Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i like the way it helps the team to collaborate and work together which helps to make the tasks easier and collaborative. its user interface is beginner friendly with a lot of awesome features eg. image insertion, chart visualisation, data organisation in the form of tables with sorting , searching and filtering of data. its cross plateform on apple ecosystem like mac , ios and ipad you need not to carry your laptop everywhere you can open the sheets on your mobile phone also which pretty much better feature.other than. that its free and can be stored on icloud to avail it anytime from cloud server.
