  ### 2. Apple Mail is Not Nearly as Beneficial and Gmail

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like that Apple Mail comes with every Apple device because I have just about the entire Apple ecosystem. Everything is pretty accessible because of that feature alone.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

It's very annoying the way that the app is set up. It reminds me of the first iPhone... It seems like everything within the Apple system has been updated and renovated to be more user-friendly except for Apple Mail.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Just use Gmail. Gmail has a much better system and ease.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not solving any issues with Apple Mail. I chose to delete the app because it took up too much space. The way the app is set up is just irritating, and I do not feel that it is very conducive to my style of work.

  ### 3. Apple Mail - Easy Integration With All Email Servers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James P. | Leadership Development ❤️ B2B Selling Skills Training 📌 Sales Management Skills Training, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

It's so easy to integrate it with Yahoo, Gmail and Other Branded Email Accounts. I can even Flag emails that I want to follow-up later and use different colours to categorise them. It also comes with Smart Mailboxes that make groupings dynamic. You can apply rules to spam mails to auto-delete or prevent them from being Inboxed. You can also block email addresses from annoying spammers.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Lame signatures. But this can be fixed easily with Mailbutler that makes your Signatures pop.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Apple Mail, I can view all my email accounts in one place instead of logging into separate email accounts. It notifies me with sound and notification banners when emails arrive.

  ### 4. Does the Job

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russ F. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I enjoy the way I can integrate mail to other things. For example, the data detectors make is easy to add calendar events. Also, there are Apple Scripts available that allow me to add emails as tasks to OmniFocus (I can't do that with Outlook).

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Some of the simplicity. Occasionally, I would like to be able to do more complex things with my email. But that is rare.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The answer to this question is similar to what I like best. Specifically, it is a huge time saver for me to have a built-in script that allows me to convert an email directly to an OmniFocus task.

  ### 5. Flexible and clear - even for business!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

The simple interface is exactly what I like for personal and business use. Outlook is just far too messy - Mail offers all the functionality you need in a streamlined way.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

There are some elements which I'd like to see which Outlook has - out of office setup being a bit more 'Apple' in its execution for example. Signatures could also do with some work when using Google Mail or Exchange.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organising inbox in a clean and clear way. Smart Folders help automate a lot and flagging provides a very clean way of quickly getting to important messages. The main problem solved is simple and effective continuity between my Mac and work iPhone.

  ### 6. Great until it breaks.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam B. | Integration QA Engineer Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

As in usual Apple fashion, it is a simple and intuitive email client for all of your email needs. It comes preinstalled on Mac systems and is ready to go. I also really appreciate that it allows for mail extensions. Not something that Apple needed to do, but ended up being a nice plus.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Mail storage. For whatever reason, Apple Mail stores mail on the device and doesn't always sync everything with your online account. This is all fine until your operating system fails or you get a new device then merging that over is really difficult and frustrating. I've lost so many emails because of this.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is super easy to use and it looks good. Great utility for light email users. I do use it on my iOS device and iit works great there and does everything I ever need it to .

  ### 7. A Free/Default Mail App for iOS and MacOS User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Apple Mail is just similar to other free mail application/program that allow you to send, receive, and manage your inbox. What I like best about Apple Mail would be the fact that is an application/program similar to Outlook. When compared to Gmail, you don't have to open any internet browsing program to open it. Moreover, since the application/program is a native application/program for iOS and MacOS, it also net a better performance when compared to Outlook/Gmail when using it on the iPhone or Mac. Another thing that I love most about Apple Mail would be the clean interface. If you are familiar with Apple Mail in iOS, it would be super easy to use when trying Apple Mail on MacOS and vice versa.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Even though Apple Mail provide a clean interface, when deep diving into it, it is indeed actuall hard to use. If you are going to create a new mail, send it to your frien and family, it's going to be super easy to do so. However, if you are writing a business mail, you need to CC alot of people, need to change a lot of fonts, colors, attachment, and add tables, it's actually hard to identify where those functions are unlike Microsoft Outlook or Gmail. Moreover, there is no search function unlike Microsoft Outlook where I can search for the functions that I want. I think this is the most important feature and Apple should have implemented it already. I also think that the set-up is difficult in the first place unlike Outlook where you just input your email and password.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

As previosly mentioned, Apple Mail is a free application/program. If you already bought an iPhone/Mac, you already have this free application on your phone/computer. Kindly note as well that you can add more than one account to Apple Mail. One can be your personal and the other one for work. Apple Mail is simple to use, but not that good for business use.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, Apple Mail is a free application that comes with the iPhone and Mac. If your you prefer to have a free mail app, go with Apple Mail, there is nothing to lose other than the premimum pricing that you are paying for iPhone and Mac smartphones/computers.

  ### 8. Love this service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey R. | Graphic designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I love it because I import all my different email inboxes into one space. It's also very easy to use on my phone and to manage. It's quick and user friendly I've never had any major problems with this service.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Sometimes when I delete emails they stay in my inbox and I have to go back and do it again. This isn't a major inconvenience but it is annoying ar certain times.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By having a few emails they have the option to import those other inboxes to be able to check all of them in one space instead of having to log into each individual service.

  ### 9. Great email platform that does the job

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like the ease with which Apple mail can be set up and is ready to use. The design and UI are excellent, and it provides integration and management with several email clients like Google, Yahoo, etc., seamlessly. We primarily use Google Workspace for our professional email accounts, and I loved the ease with which I could set it up and get going. I also like how I can sync my calendar and contacts while setting up the email with one click and receive notifications and reminders for my meetings automatically without having to sync the calendar separately.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Apple mail is a great solution for email management but creates a major storage problem on the system and consequently the memory. As all the emails are stored on the device and not on the cloud, this will eventually create a huge problem in the long run

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

I do not have any specific recommendations for Apple mail users

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Apple Mail as my email management solution for work

  ### 10. Easy Emailing with Apple Mail - An All in one Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anurag T. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Apple Mail is quick to set up. It's a primary email client with support for a range of services, including the Apple's own iCloud Mail, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Exchange. It also allows you to connect your own IMAP and POP3 accounts, with S/MIME support for end-to-end encryption.

The user interface is clean, with mailboxes, folders, and accounts accessed via the sidebar. Unified mailboxes allow users to see all inbox, sent draft and folders in a single view!

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Apple mail is realllyyyy a storage-heavy Email solution! It saves every single attachment draft and trash mail and stores it on your MacBook hard disk. Now is you have a MacBook Pro, it doesn't matter much, but for MacBook Air users, this is a huge issue as the Apple mail takes up a lot of storage space in the long run. With limited storage in MacBook Airs (128 GB onwards) one has to decide whether to use this solution or opt for a browser-based solution such as Gmail.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Go for it; It's very recommended if the users have an iPhone and you need to sync your personal and professional e-mail efficiently.
Checkout the Smart Mailbox feature in Apple mail!

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a one size fits all solution! You can manage multiple email accounts with this solution, including IMAP and POP3-based email clients. You can manage personal and professional emails very quickly, and it is practically necessary in case you also have an iPhone. Apple's integrated ecosystem with mail, calendar, and iPhone makes it easier for users to manage everything efficiently.

Apple Mail feels a bit more bulky than Gmail

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neatly organizes all electronic mail which helps me out

  ### 12. Works well for aggregating mail.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micah F. | Receiver, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

It's a competent mail client that connects to most other mail services and allows you to read and send emails.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Not a specific problem with this mail application, but most third party clients don't work 100% and this is no exception. It doesn't integrate perfectly, so if you ever need to use the first party client for your email, it can cause issues.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a competent email client that allows email to be visible independent of the web browser.

  ### 13. Apple Mail has its ups and downs

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like being able to get all my email from all my accounts in one place which is a definite plus when working on my phone, iPad on laptop.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

On the MacBook Pro I have it runs a lot slower on Catalina than I would like. Taking far too long to update my emails and it often leaves me heading for my web based mail apps.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all my mail in one place is a definite plus and accessing it in one app across multiple devices makes life a lot easier

  ### 14. Apple Mail is perfect for multiple account email organization.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abby S. | Content Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like how easy it is to access each email and review the chain of re: emails. It's easy to organize and relocate emails into groups and folders and have multiple email accounts in one application. I can flag important emails and make them different colors to set them to different level of priorities.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

When writing an email, it's a little hard to make sure you're writing the email from the appropriate account. You have to double-check before sending the email that you're sending an email from the proper email account. Even though I can flag essential emails, they get lost in the sea of emails. I wish there were a way to remind me to take care of an important email. The app doesn't carry over the signatures saved on the email's web server, so I have to re-create them in the Mail app.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

If you are juggling between multiple email accounts on various sites for work or personal reasons and own a Mac, using Apple Mail to organize and keep all your emails in one area is a smart and efficient tool to manage emails.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Apple Mail, I can take care of all my emails from multiple accounts into one app. I can organize them into category folders and locations that make them easy to navigate.

This helps me answer my email on my phone quickly.

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Apple Mail allows you to have multiple email address in one place. It does not matter if it is google, microsoft, icloud or any of the other ones.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

There are not many downsides to Apple Mail. The only downside may be that the it is a little behind on the graphics. But the ease of use makes up for that.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Try it out, it will be worth it.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easier to keep track of my multiple email address. I have about 5 for varoius things, so it is easier to go back and forth between them using Apple Mail.

  ### 19. I use this every day for 4 years at work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Apple Mail is very intuitive and easy to use with any mail client. I use Gmail with Apple Mail. It has always functioned as expected.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

I wish there were more customization options, but that is not a big deal, nor does it hinder the program's functionality.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to communicate effectively with all of my coworkers and stay organized at work.

  ### 20. Best Client for personal mail handling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Very simple UI with vibrant colors which are very appealing to eye. Best thing is we can have gmail as well as other mail ids like yahoo, work mail in same client which makes our work easy.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

The size of apple mail app is too big that sometimes it lags and causes a delay in operation.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I have number of mails, managing and organizing all is pretty easy with this mail app. I have huge mail workflow so it lends a helping hand to me.

  ### 21. Compatible Mail Service for iPhone devices!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish K. | Software Engineering Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

It comes by default in the iPhone device and after purchasing any new device, you need to create an iCloud id and those credentials can be used to log in to Apple Mail services. It can be directly synchronize with the iCloud server and hence you can have a backup of all your mails and data. It comes with a special VIP mail list to receive important mails. Its a simple and basic mailing application and can be logged onto it from Browser. Its very compatible with different OS including chrome, mozila and safari.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Its a very basic mailing application's. It will be having very minimal features and hence it is not preferable for Business or Corporate purpose. Some time the background synchronize can take longer time and effects your battery. It is by default added as a Mailing app and hence switching between Gmail and iPhone Mail is tedious.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Its simple and very basic, hence better if you are using iPhone apps and devices. Apart from this it wouldn’t be helpful to use it. People who are looking for high end feature can get disappointed. Comparing with Gmail , it has minimal features and hence not considered as very high end.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to have a simple and basic mailing service for my iPhone. Most of the iPhone data gets stored in Mail and you can manage all subscription details from a single place. Filter operation is very easy and can be applied from the mobile app without any issue. By default when ever you are replying from iPhone, it automatically adds a reply.

  ### 22. All in one email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa W. | Owner and Blogger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

First off my apple email itself is great. Add in that I can use it for multiple email providers, I absolutely love it. It is my all in one shop for emails.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

The apple email sometimes takes a while to get certain emails. When doing verifications it is inconvenient.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having my emails all in one place and a good spamless email.

  ### 23. Nearly a must have if you have an iPhone, but for a large email archive store is lmtd.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Apple products synchronization. User interface is pretty simple.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Not having enough storage! The basic iCloud storage is not enough for long time iPhone users. Because I didn't have enough storage some of my emails got rejected. Think job offers and urgent messages! Apple makes the storage idea pretty complicated. Locating your files is sometimes confusing. Maybe to trick you into buying more storage? Speaking from experience.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Have an alternative. It's still optimal to have two emails.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The inconvenience of not seeing my emails on all of my devices.

  ### 24. Apple Mail is so easy to use - I forget that I am actually working!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheila K. | Marketing Strategist , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like the fact that it is extremely easy to use and it has all of my information stored in one area. All of my accounts - whether Yahoo, Exchange, or Gmail can be housed in one area so I can easily, and efficiently, grab my emails and respond. Being on the go most of the time, it's easy to be able to forget to check emails. And having multiple accounts is frustrating to have to sign in to each of them. This makes my life so much easier. Thanks Apple Mail!

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

I dislike that you have to re-enter your password several times a month but understand that it is for security reasons. I wish there was a way you could mark as read a lot faster but of course, it'll do. From your phone, its not easy to find where you can create folders either. If that's my biggest complaint, I feel like Apple Mail still received an A!

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving the problem of not having enough time to prioritize my email. With apple mail, I am able to - at a single glance - scroll through, delete, archive, and put emails in folders. It helps to keep my life on task. When juggling multiple email platforms, its so nice to be able to see everything in one spot. Apple Mail has made it very easy to be on the go and take your work with you.

  ### 25. Not the best for business use

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parisa H. | Senior Campaign Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like that replies to email threads are laid out in one thread so I can easily scroll up and see an entire conversation history between me and another person. I use other shared inboxes in the business so this feature is useful to see what has been stated already so I can carry on a conversation with a customer if need be.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

The search function is horrendous, even if I use the formulas to only look up certain words, phrases or people I tend to have multiple emails come up which are completely irrelevant to what I've searched, and even if I go into those emails there's literally no mention of the word that I searched.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

this is great I think more for personal use but can have some difficulty if you want to use it seriously as a business. the integration between external software and apple mail can be a bit difficult.

There are some great features, however, unsure if worth it weighing up what other email platforms you could use for the business side.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems solved are that the thread collation is easy to read past conversations, conversations with others in shared inboxes and finding information quickly instead of trudging through multiple emails. This has helped save time and also ensure that customers don't get annoyed by us asking the same questions to them that they've already answered previously. The agent taking over from the conversation will have all the information there to hand without needing to use an external software system that handles inbound queries.

  ### 26. For Mac user, simple and efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire M. | Commercial in Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Apple mail is for any mac user a way to keep all your mail on your desktop without opening your browser.
It's really useful because even without an internet connection you can access to all your preview mails.
Also can manage several mail accounts on one platform doesn't matter if it's Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and so on.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

On a daily basis, no real big issues, but if they could integrate a calendar to Apple Mail it would be even more efficient. No more need to use Outlook for the calendar. Also, you can experience some bugs sometimes.
The web version of it is a bit disappointing compared to its mobile version.

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Mail has good integration with dozens of other Apple services, seamless across the Apple ecosystem, and is reliable, fast and easy to use thanks to its position as a core app built right into macOS.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

The UI of mail and tools for organization falls well behind googles gmail and Microsoft outlooks with limited options to manage mail as well as lacks googles own integration features.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple mail is quick and easy to use, very convenient, the most from any mail platform when on a Mac.

Drag and drop is breezy.
Great that you can drag emails to save as eml format.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

Search is horrendous, it's a guess of luck if you can search with your keywords as it does not filter into dates or sender/receivers.
Attachments are horrible, some images are shrunk without your prior knowledge, and attachments expire which casuses massive issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Not good for business.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Well, its a cool lightweight mail client. I've three accounts in it and it works just fine. Synchronizes really quick. haven't crashed many times. What else can I say? Its a better mail client than others which I've used so far.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

First thing is, the groups feature of the Microsoft outlook isn't visible in the apple mail app. So every time when I get emails from the group I'll have to open outlook to check. Second thing is I don't get notifications for the emails that I receive in other folders. I mean if there's a rule for incoming emails to copy it to a particular folder I won't get notifications for those emails.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

It's simple, easy and not so heavy on the CPU. So far I've used major email clients and somehow I got settled with this because I feel its better than all of them.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The. main problem is that I don't have to have three mail applications for my email accounts I can add them all in the same app. Also since it is by the Apple and comes pre installed with my MacBook its easy to setup and fast.

  ### 33. Mail, the must use option if you have a Mac

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

Mail is a extremely useful and easy tool to manage from just one account to several mail accounts, all in the same window. It's integration is amazing, it is compatible with Google and Gsuite accounts, even the ones who have 2 Step verification methods.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

I dislike that Apple has not enforced a easy way to add or edit personalized HTML signatures, even though it is possible to add one, the road to accomplish it is not something a regular user could perform on its own (due to restrictions on the machine or due to lack of knowledge)

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

I strongly recommend the use of Mail in a company that mainly uses Mac as a Operating System, it is friendly, it is powerful, it is multitasking and, most importantly, it is already there, right in your Mac's Dock.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Apple Mail as my main Mail client since it allows me to handle my corporate email and my personal email, all in one convenient spot.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

The simple no-fuss design, unlike Outlook's interface which feels a lot more cluttered in comparison.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

The attachments can get lost in an email thread. Also, JPEGs sometimes go in the body of the mail instead of an attachment which is a nuisance when you're trying to share high-resolution files.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

If you need a simple place to access work emails and such, this can be an alternative to the cumbersome Outlook.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was avoiding using third-party software on my Mac to keep it decluttered. Ended up managing 2 accounts and it has been pretty seamless and efficient solely because of the simple design.

  ### 46. Separating Browser from Mail

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda H. | Music Teacher, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I love that fact that Apple Mail enables you to view your mail while not having to open the web browser to do so. I enjoy keeping the 2 elements separate.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

I have yet to find a flaw apparent to me with the Apple Mail software. I enjoy using it and the ease of using it with my Apple products.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Apple Mail is a great tool to use when you have an Apple product--it comes free with your product purchase, and it is an easy to use program. The ease of not having to go to a web browser to open your email and have it remember your password is excellent!

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple mail makes it extremely easy to open my mail and send my mail without having to go through the process of opening a web browser that requires frequent repeated log in and password typing. You only need to log into Apple Mail once and it remembers and keeps your password, instantly opening your mail when you open the program .

  ### 47. Reliable Email Application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor B. | Marketing Executive, Sports, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2017

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

The thing that I like best about Apple Mail is the fact that I am able to import email accounts from any email service provider and access them all from the application. Apple Mail enables me to check my Outlook, Gmail and iCloud email addresses all from its application. All I have to do is enter my login credentials one single time to import the account and then my email is accessibile from Apple Mail. Once I open the Apple Mail application, all of my email accounts are there and I can do searches throughout all of the accounts or by one account at a time which is a convenient feature.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

I dislike the amount of space that Apple Mail takes up on my phone. It takes up more space than any other application on my device and can be slow at times, depending on how many email messages I have in the application. At times, checking my email can take a while and while Apple Mail is connecting and checking my email, it freezes and nothing else can be done. There have been many times when I have had to force the application to close and manually restart it after it freezes.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

I would recommend Apple Mail to anyone who uses iOS devices - since this application will only work on these. It is good because no matter what email provider you use, you can access it from Apple Mail. You can have as many email accounts as you want on Apple Mail and check them all at once without having to re-enter your username and passwords. It is a pretty convenient application and makes life so much easier.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Mail has been a huge benefit to my company because we use several email accounts. Apple Mail allows us to check them all from one application, instead of having to log in and out of one email address at a time and go from one email account to the next in order to check them all. It has been extremely convenient for one of my secure work email accounts - instead of having to go through the security check each time I need to check my mail, it only needs to be entered once with Apple Mail and then I am good to go.

What I like the best about Apple Mail is that I can access my go daddy work email right from my apple mail app on my Mac and my phone. It makes my work life much easier.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

it laggs a lot. Sometime I need to force close it, thats more of an issue with apple then the app I feel like

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

Easy and efficient to use. Wonderful features, like rules, smart filters, signatures, templates and much more.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that I can create smart folders. This eliminates having to drag emails into folders. I just create a smart folder with someones email, click on it and EVERYTHING is there. From there I can search the folder to pin point exactly what I am looking for.

  ### 49. Good Email Application for IOS Devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chase C. | Financial Advisor, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2017

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

I like many features about Apple Mail. I feel that many of its features are enhanced and I like that they are continually making updates to the application. The feature that I like most about Apple Mail is that it allows you to use any existing email account - whether its Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud (to name only some) - you can access them all via Apple Mail. I also like the fact that you can use Apple Mail to access multiple email accounts at one time. No more do I have to switch back and forth between websites or applications in order to check my multiple work and personal email accounts. The Apple Mails enables me to check them all from one application. I also like the fact that Apple Mail is integrated with Apple Calendar. This is a useful feature because when I receive email invitations, I have it set up so Apple Mail and Apple Calendar automatically sync. So, events that are emailed to me are automatically saved to my calendar in real time.

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

There is not much that I have found to dislike about Apple Mail. I appreciate its compatibility, enhanced features and convenience. The only thing that I could say that I dislike about Apple Mail is the amount of space that it takes up on my devices. I do have a lot of work emails that can't be deleted and take up space but that is the downfall to any application that you have downloaded on your device rather than a website that you visit to check your email. When you visit a website to check your email, no space is taken up on your device. The more space that is used for my email, the less space I have for documents and other important things. Also, the more space that is used, the slower the application works and loads email. This can be frustrating. Sometimes it can take five minutes to update and check all of my email accounts in Apple Mail and while they are loading, the screen is frozen and nothing else can be accomplished.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

I recommend Apple Mail for anyone who using the IOS operating system. It is a good service because of its compatibility with other Apple applications like Apple Maps and Apple Calendar. It is also good because it allows you to be logged in to multple email accounts - which can all be from different email providers - all from one application. This makes checking your emails super convenient. I definitely recommend.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Mail has been good because my business requires me to always be available and responsive via email. Because of this, I require an email application that is always running and automatically checks my emails for me and notifies me when one is received. This means that I need an application for my email and that I can't rely on an internet based email provider that requires me to login and continually monitor. For all of these reasons, Apple Mail has proven important and beneficial to my professional life.

  ### 50. My Favorite Email Application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenny U. | Sales Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2017

**What do you like best about Apple Mail?**

There are many features that I like about Apple Mail. I like that I can use Apple Mail, a single application, to view all of my email accounts. Apple Mail allows me to use my Outlook work email address, my Gmail work email address and my iCloud work email address all from one single application. These are just the few emails that I use with my Apple Mail but I now it is compatible with almost every kind of email address. This is great because I'm not having to check three or four difference places to get all of my emails - I can use Apple Mail to check all of the email addresses from one place. This saves a lot of time for me....

**What do you dislike about Apple Mail?**

I dislike how much time Apple Mail takes to load. Since I have been using it for so long and for all of my work email addresses, I have a lot of email messages in my Apple Mail application and it always takes a ton of time to load - especially when I am trying to do a search. The searches take so long to appear - especially when there are a lot of results. Sometimes, the dates on the email searches are incorrect and appear as 01/01/1969 for all of the email search results.... This date issue fixes itself when I close the application and redo the search.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Mail:**

I recommend Apple Mail for anyone who uses multiple email accounts because it allows you to import them so they can all be accessed from a single application. You can send an email from any email address that you choose - simply by picking the email address you want to send from a drop down box. Also, Apple Mail makes searching through multiple email accounts a breeze. You can do a single search and results will be returned from all email addresses in your Apple Mail - or, you can choose to search a single email account.

**What problems is Apple Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Mail has benefited my company because when I am emailed an appointment, event or location and I receive it to my Apple Mail application, I have it set up so that it is automatically sent to my Apple Maps and Apple Calendar. This allows me to easily navigate to a location with Apple Maps without having to retype in the address that was emailed to me. Even more efficient is how Apple Mail is compatible with Apple Calendar. It ensures that no events or appointments are overlooked because they are automatically added to my calendar. This saves time and ensures nothing is overlooked.
