Making business applications gets quicker and quicker each year. Their records functionality is incredible as it is easy to understand and quick to set up - avoiding the mySql stored procedures and views that can get complex quickly. Their services regarding the cloud platform is exceptional - we are truly looked after in this regard. **What do you dislike about Appian?** There is not much that I dislike, but there are just small things in the BPM tool that I feel should be addressed. For instance, the record filters are not easy to make efficient especially if you have a lot of them. However, I am sure these things will be addressed in the future, but I guess their time is taken into their new tools like RPA and Process Mining. **What problems is Appian solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main business problems that Appian is solving are niche use cases and processes not covered by our already existing toolset. For us specifically, it is the problems where we need to be quick to market and super adaptable to market change. ### 44. The best part is it offers me connectors for integration with other applications without the need for code. Based on the market needs, the way Appian keeps adding new functionalities like Data Fabric/Data Mining makes a lot of sense to me. Having integrated CI/CD (DevOps) also help us quickly manage the code deployment process. **What do you dislike about Appian?** Excellent new features are added to Appian with additional license cost; this can be re-looked at. Provide a better model to customers to get to mining capabilities. Monitoring services on the SaaS Platform can be improved, helping us integrate with customer ITSM toolsets. I have asked this for JLR, which is under process by Appian. **What problems is Appian solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can build, test and deploy applications for JLR quickly. The Brexit application we created using Appian has had positive feedback from JLR and end users. Brexit happened, and many manual tasks were being carried out by JLR, which were eliminated, resulting in substantial cost savings for JLR. ### 45. It is very easy to create nice UI and and integrate it with process models. Process modelling is great and each new release is improved. That is great. **What do you dislike about Appian?** Significantly impact of application to performance. If the developers will use not optimized code -> it is very easy to blocked whole platform for all other users. Documentation -> in the official documentation are mentioned only really basic things -> the real usefull information you need to find in the Appian community or in the code of the more experienced developers. **What problems is Appian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automation manuall process regarding approving or rejecting different business processes. We have used Appian to solve "platform" users problem with users which remains active on the Appian platform. It is always faster solved Appian platform user problems direct on the Appian platform instead to use 3rd party services or another application/platform. ### 46. I also don't know how much this cost and if we need to get support to use it in the future.
