Lastly, Appian's process workflow is easy to use and offers a wide variety of smart services. **What do you dislike about Appian?** Appian lacks elastically scalable offerings, especially for builds that have dynamic traffic from customers and internal users. Appian is also quite expensive compared to other competitors in recent times. Lastly, Appian is still quite limited in mobile-app development and deployment. Appian support is average as the issues ticketing system would be better if it can offer live support. **What problems is Appian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Appian has helped us enrich customer experience by enabling straight-through processes without human intervention. It has also helped us streamline customer onboarding processes - from application to investigation. It's incredibly extendable and configurable, and easy to tailor to your customers needs. The recent releases have greatly improved Appians capability, and I look forward to what they're going to release next. The recent focus on product sales (as in, selling from a pre built Appian app, as opposed to selling a scratch build) makes it easier to hook new clients with impressive interfaces and capabilities with less effort on the dev team. **What do you dislike about Appian?** I cannot explain their licensing cost in a easy and succinct way. It's cost per user, unless it's not. It's X price, unless you want to use the new app they're marketing. In addition, it can be difficult to develop and test custom plugins and components. While that is a rarer use case, it can still come up. I also wish Appian made more product/app tools available to partners, like the solutions hub. **What problems is Appian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Appian's low code platform makes it easy to take a customer's vision and make it reality. Or, at least as close as we can reasonably get. It allows for rapid iteration with a relatively light team of developers. ### 49.
