While providing extremely secure network access, it is also very friendly to use for both Admins in configuration and users for access. Appgate is also a favorite vendor of mine because of their scheduled monthly follow up meetings. I wish all vendors did this. Most of the time they are very quick, nothing to report from our end, but even on those it gives me a chance to find out latest features, or triggers something in my past month that I have as a question. The only negative thing I would say is I wish there were template/defaults during the initial setup, expansion. You have to configure access to IP/Ports and I would think there would be some standard templates for things like Print Servers, Windows File Servers, etc. - but we had to trial/error some things. Everything is great about this product, I didn't really found any downsides or have anything to dislike. One thing to mention - we have experienced some issues with users connecting from CGNAT networks - the SPA technology and mutual TLS sometimes doesn't work with these providers over IPv4 connection. This is one of the best VPNs that I have seen so far. It's easy to connect and provides a variety of site we can conenct to. Due to this I have been using it on a daily basis. At one time, when I just started using Appgate, it was causing problems with my home wi-fi. Internet wasn't working when I connected to AppGate. At that time, I had to contact the support team to get it fixed. Although it happens sometimes with other VPNs as well, so it's not the fault of AppGate.

Its sort of the nature of an SDP Ingress, complex setup and you could talk to 5 differerent tech support staff and get 2-3 different answers, but their all valid answers, just different ways to implement. It will get connected automatically on startup of our PC or laptop. It has a simple and easy user interface just one click is enough to connect to any VPN provider which is highly secured.
