What do you like best about Apigee Edge?
Used as API gateway, reverse proxy, caching layer, API performance measurement tool, API authentication tool, API monetization tool, etc. We had a use case wherein we needed to monetize APIs and also need to have the analytics, and hence we chose Apigee. Apigee helps to monetize APIs, and therefore we can charge the consumers of our API. Apigee provides analytics to see the performance of API in a specified period. We also onboarded our legacy SOAP APIs to Apigee and have a REST endpoint for the same. It is nice API management platform [that] deals with most of the API concerns. What do you dislike about Apigee Edge?
Apigee should provide policy to integrate customize identity management systems
Apigee should provide mechanism to configure cache limit for particular API

This Google-developed API gateway management tool, Apigee, allows data interchange across cloud services. Resources can be created, updated and removed based on the data.
Traditional databases can be integrated with a contemporary user interface.
Hybrid and multi-cloud setups are supported.

Without altering the backend services, we are able to modify response and adjust it to meet the demands of the business that requires it. What do you like best about Apigee Edge?
The equivalent terminologies to the standard API management tools are great. Once you get the hang of it, its great in managing APIs. The tutorials on GitHub are sufficient to get you going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
