The main draw for using apideck was only needing to build a single integration. Once the integration is built it's just a simple case of toggling the connectors you want to use in your app. Also, no longer having to worry about the maintainence of multiple connectors takes significant stress off the development team and frees them up to work on features.

The only downside I've experienced is some incomplete connectors. Some connectors don't have the full functionality yet implemented, but you can request it from the apideck team and they will bump it up the priority list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Documentation is really clear, we were able to code a proof of concept in one hour. The built-in JavaScript component for Vue helped us a lot.
User experience to link an accouting package such as Xero is smooth. Once linked the service is very robust, always returning fresh data.
Pricing is transparent.
REST API is very well crafted. Well organised and documented.

When we began working with Apideck Unify, certain features like detailed error logging were not yet available in their connectors. This is understandable given the agility of a smaller company.
However, their nimbleness and collaborative approach allowed us to turn this limitation into an opportunity. Apideck makes it easy to integrate with multiple third party APIs at once by just implementing one single "unified" API. Their documentation is conclusive and detailed all the while their support is very responsive as well. One thing I particularly like to stress is the detailed logging insights they provide in real time with all raw requests and responses. One of the most challenging aspects of our work has always been CRM integrations. Apideck has made this process seamless and scalable, which has not only solved a major pain point for us but has also opened up opportunities to imagine and create new types of business solutions that were previously out of reach. However, the onboarding process could be smoother. It can be a bit complex to wrap your head around the different layers of the product (consumers, apps, etc.). APIDeck Unify strikes the right balance between integration catalog, functionality and pricing for an Unified API solution. We've conducted experiments to build a direct integration with Netsuite vs. using API deck and the latter approach is indeed faster for the simplest of use cases. The team behind and GJ (API Deck CEO) was very flexible in terms of service agreement and we've never had major issues getting some Product Support via their Slack channels. Some of our 3rd party app needs are not part of the line-up, however as part of our contract the API deck team has offered to accomodate connector requests.
Another is, of course the limitations of the Unified API Integration approach in general in terms of standard fields. There are some complex integration requirements that are not yet part of the standard model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Accelerates development. As I said in the title, we were able toship our new QuickBooks integration in less than 3 weeks, and Xero in a week. 2 years ago it took us more than a month to ship a buggy QBO integration while working directly with the Intuit API. So clearly API Deck fulfilled its mission of abstracting the complexity from us :)
- Simple documentation, great developer experience, our engineers are big fans.
- Super helpful dashboard with logs to investigate errors: useful for myself (Product manager) and engineers to get context when we have delicate cases to solve.

1. Support - the APIdeck team have been there through the whole process when we've have questions and been very quick to respond to feature requests.
2. Expanding integration library - APIdeck are consistently bringing new integrations online which means added value for us and our clients. They also promptly respond to requests for new data to be added to existing integrations and often can make it happen for us.
3. Ease of use - Once the vault is embedded it's easy for our clients to implement and manage their integrations without intervention from us. This is a huge timesaver for us.
4. Visibility - Being able to see what calls are being made and what's returned has saved our support team a lot of time on those occassions that clients have asked for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Partnership requirements for some connectors - The need to partner with some of the companies we want to integrate with has been burdonsome and time consuming.
