I've been using the free version of Claude AI, and while it shows promise, I've found it to be quite limited. The number of prompts I can use is restricted, and the length of our chats is too short. This makes it difficult to fully explore the capabilities of the AI or get meaningful assistance. I understand that the free version is intended to be a teaser, but I hope the developers will consider expanding its capabilities or offering more flexible pricing plans. Until then, I'll have to weigh the limitations against the benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I realized what a piece of junk Clause was, it was easy to cancel my subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Claude has been a complete waste of my time and money. The AI consistently fails to understand even basic requests and produces useless, rambling responses that miss the point entirely. Despite all the marketing hype about 'advanced intelligence,' it performs worse than much older AI systems. The subscription is highway robbery for what you actually get - an AI that can't follow simple instructions and constantly needs clarification. The interface might look nice, but it's just a pretty wrapper for a fundamentally broken product. Customer service is practically non-existent when you try to report issues. I've canceled my subscription and would strongly advise anyone considering Claude to save their money. There are numerous free alternatives that actually work as advertised, unlike this overhyped disappointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When it's accurate, it's quite good, but.... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's often quite inaccurate and doesn't follow directions. Ask it to complete a task and it will complete a small subset then ask if you want it to proceed. This wastes your message alottment. It also makes mistakes, really obvious issues and doesn't learn from corrections. You have to check the work and tell it about the errors. And the messages back and forth about the errors use up your message allottment. Incredibly frustrating after all this back and forth to then have Claude block me from using the account for hours - it told me I'd hit my message limit today and have to wait 5 hours to use it again. After all this, I still don't have a usuable output from it. And I'm paying for the professional model. Customer service was not helpful. Told me they have no ability to override the message limit so I can use it before the 5 hour freeze. And told me to just message it less in the future. How is that even helpful? Claude AI is excellent for coding assistance, especially with its clear and structured explanations. It doesn’t just provide solutions but also explains the logic, which helps me understand complex code and learn as I go. It’s also very responsive, making it feel like a real-time coding partner. Moreover, having ability to organize multiple files in parallel provides seamless experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, Claude's responses are too detailed, and it can take a moment to reach the main point. A simpler summary option would be helpful. Occasionally, it misses context if questions aren’t worded precisely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It improves writing. While it does things other Gen AI tools do it's best for writing support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the limitations when it comes to uploading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't hallucinate as much as Chatgpt, at least when coding. And it does a very good job with everything from brainstorming high level solutions and psuedocode to fixing the nitty gritty error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hate when troubleshooting code it will sometimes get stuck in a loop. It'll say "try xyz" and I do so but none of it works so I say that to the model. In response, the model will tell me to do exactly the same "try xyz". I then have to tell it that it we already did that. It also limits how frequently you can use it in a given period of time, especially if you have a huge amount of code you've been working on. It'll tell you to start a new chat so it doesn't throttle you but if you do so it'll forget a bunch of stuff you just did (even if you summarize it for the new chat). Claude AI helps to write more human-like and more personalized that other AI applications. What I like most is its natural language understanding, that is why it offer more effective in providing texts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since it's not so common as compared with other AI tools, it offers less community support and there are a fewer third-party tools available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the chatbot system that Claude currently has, such as the ability to help answer a large number of questions clearly and concisely, in addition to offering great ease of use when working with it. Something additional to say about this is that when it is used for programming, it gives us great ease of implementation when asking for code in some programming language. What I don't quite like about Claude is that when used in programming, it looks for the easiest way to implement the code into the program, and often omits some specifications that are requested when working, and a disadvantage that I consider is that in this, the free messages are very limited and the number of characters in a message is also limited, and the only way to improve this is by purchasing the pro subscription. What's most useful about Claude is the AI's ability to flow more naturally. I like that responses feel more like human to human conversation. Another thing I like about Claude is that its responses are contextual and engaging. I also like it tries to give accurate responses and acknowledges its limitations when it doesn't know something. I can't reaaly say I dislike anything about it since it's still in better and seems to be getting better as it learns from new data everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I must commend the team at Anthropic for coming up with very good product that seems to have solved some of the issues I face with other generative AI tools. Claude seems to be very intelligent, and gives responses that natural and intuitive. The responses sound like what you would expect from a person. It doesn't seem to hallucinate like Chat Gpt does. Rather, it would admit when it doesn't have an answer to a question. It also tends to remember previous conversations better than Chat Gpt.
Claude also does a great job analyzing and analyzing uploaded files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Claude doesn't have as much data training as Chat Gpt. As a result, it doesn't yet have the same capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Takes less time to have the AI understand what i want from my prompt and get a much more human and empathetic response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it might get "too creative" and there might be no need. And extra tweaks needs to be done to make ir sound less like a bot that it's trying too hard to avoid sounding like a bot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
