The best part of anysy fluent is its result section in the fluent set up which is very useful in extracting the required results in both pictorial and graphicaly. If you know the tools it's like a video game Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
According to me the downside is they don't explain the uses of all the tools in a detailed manner if anyone wants to learn by themselves it's very difficult only if they learn at any websites or courses then they can use it and for student version if they can increase the nodes permitted because it was a major drawback for my project but they accepted it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. TUI interface and the automation it offers
2. Documentation available for almost all features of the Fluent solver - basic as well as advanced
3. Integration of TGrid meshing into Fluent - escp watertight workflow
4. Availability of wid resources in open forums due to the extremely large user base that Fluent solver has in CFD Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. GUI interface of Fluent has been laggy and slow for years now, no improvement there
2. TUI commands are being changed for no apparent reason from version to version from the past few years,
3. Lack of proper documentation for Scheme language which is a very powerful fluent tool
Poor documentation of "Named expressions" - a recent powerful tool , documentation is better than scheme lang but still poor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface of ANSYS products is phenomenal and a great community in case any anybody gets stuck on a problem. I am a student and I enjoy using the student version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my opinion, ANSYS provides great support for NVIDIA processors and as my computer has an AMD processor, some performance-based issues may rise from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the different ways I can customize my mesh, as there are multiple options to fit various applications. The visuals that are presented upon completing any simulation are always a bonus, and out of all the CFD software that I have been able to use, nothing beats those of Ansys Fluent. One tiny detail I like is the live convergence lines that update with every iteration of the simulation, showing the user when the simulation has converged onto a final answer, allowing them to stop the simulation to save time and computing power should they wish to do so. One major flaw, for me, is that you have to individually close and save individual modules once you are done with them, and they do not update unless you tell them to do so. For example, suppose I notice a small geometrical error and go back t change it. In that case, the mesh does not update automatically to accommodate such a change and outright refuses to generate, meaning that I have to redesign a new mesh, wasting a lot of time. Another flaw is the number of times the program has crashed while using it for more advanced simulations; I know this is due to my poor computing power. However, I feel like the developers should accommodate that as not everyone has the money to afford a "NASA Supercomputer." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It gives the better visualization while simulation and optimization of core knowledge while working on software in areas like mechanical, chemical, marine, mining, and aeronautical background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As it is a software need the high processing CPU because with low processing its took long time because as to get better result we need to diivide it in various mesh size as mesh size increase ansys fluent need to calculate the area wise calculation, for that its need a high processing software to get the results faster. The workbench option is really user friendly and the fluent data base is up to date and accurate. the meshing option is also great to get better mesh quality with minimum meshing computation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
high on memory requirement. ansys on low end laptop takes years to finish computation which should be finished earlier and computation time increases with accuracy required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ansys fluent is a go to software for any kind of CFD related work. Ansys has the world class fluent meshing domain. We can edit the geometry easily and update it in fluent compare to others software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ansys fluent is a cpu intensive job and when we deal with the comlpex geometry the fluent takes lot of time to solve the problem. Ansys is not well optimised with less core processors and keep crashing or not responding to the task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
